Over the past few years I have listened to and followed probably half a dozen wine related podcasts. I came across this Bedrock podcast because it was mentioned in the Fall Release email from Bedrock. So far, I have only listened to the episode with Mike Officer of Carlisle and the episode with Amy and Peter of Holus Bolus/The Joy Fantastic. Both were excellent - in fact - outstanding! We are members at Bedrock, so all of this insight is fascinating and elucidating. We are members at Carlisle - same deal! We will most definitely be stopping in to taste and meet at Holus Bolus in the very near future!! I have always appreciated the writing in Bedrock release notes. It always does a great job of conveying the sense of the wine being discussed. That same ethos underlies this podcast. Can’t wait to hear more episodes!! Chris and Morgan do a good job balancing educating listeners and selling their wine and wine of their friends. I find Morgan’s insight into California’s historic vineyards very interesting and I’ve sought out wine from not only Bedrock but from other winemakers like Carlisle (who should be on the podcast) to contrast vineyard character.

I think I speak for all of us listeners when I say we’re glad you didn’t go to law school Chris! Such a great show that takes the snobbery out of wine and also brings on some great guests with awesome stories.

Fantastic series of podcasts by two passionate wine masters who have the intellect to educate the common man about wine. This is mandatory listening if you have any interest in wine and what it actually is. Morgan will get you to the front of the class with his history of some of the great vineyards in California. He understands everything anoutnwhat goes into the bottle. Chris sets him up perfect as they play off one another thru each podcast. I have purchased their wines for sometime now, and the last time I picked my wine up , both Morgan and Chris were the ones bro going the wine to the car. They obviously have a passion for what they do that is second to none. This duo will be the face of the California wine industry in the next ten years or less! One of then top five wineries in the U.S

The cool kids do a podcast full of wine geekery and the stories behind the wine delivered in an engaging, fun and informative way!

Great addition to the wine conversation scene. Really appreciate Chris’ heartfelt enthusiasm and friendly nature. Brightens my day and he has a beautiful way of navigating these wine talks.

It will be interesting to see what these guys have planned for the podcast. The Spring release episodes were like reading Morgans manifestos but even more informative...
