Roy and Tom, I really enjoyed this episode interviewing Kate from BENU. I looked up their website so I could see a picture of Kate and she’s adorable! I’m always highly impressed how people from other countries speak English so well, and that she does. And she had some very interesting things to say about her company, without the politics. I’m sure it is a very daunting time for her and Alex and their families and employees. I certainly wish them the best. I have several BENUs…It’s the only fountain pen that I have that glows in the dark and that’s so cool. My first BENU ✨ is still my very favorite. The Hexagon D. It is stunning pen, just gorgeous. And my ears picked up when you mentioned Schmidt nibs, Roy. I favor Western or German nibs the most because I love a thick heavy line of ink.I think Schmidt nibs are underrated, they’re excellent nibs. This was a very enjoyable podcast to listen to. Thanks to you and Tom, and Goldspot for the discount opportunity that I have used and appreciate.

Love listening to the banter between these two and occasionally get some good pen info. Ha! Have been surprised sometimes that I agree w these guys who use/review WAY more pens etc than I, having sometimes thought I was being too particular (really…3 cap turns on a pocket pen?!?) as a relative newbie to the pen community. Helps me realize I’m not off base too much afterall. But beware, if the “potty mouth” language Roy warns you about bothers you, may not be for you. For me, keeps it real. Entertaining and different from your typical pen podcast, yet still very informative.

For those of us with a pen addiction/virus this podcast is a must. Also, if you just want to hear some funny stories it does that also. Grandmastersenseipenbpyroy and Tom provide a highly pentertaining podcast which has to be experienced to fully understand. Sidenote, someone claiming to be Brian Goulet left a bogus 1-star review. Don’t believe it, tune in yourself.

Lapses into immature content and tends to think he’s more clever than he actually is. Meh.

Every episode brings me something that enhances my personal fountain pen experience. From the personal stories of the retailers and their employees to the “pipeline” of how the pen gets into my hands, all delivered from the humorous perspective of guy who cannot let a fart go by without joking about it. Love it.

I like watching Roy’s you tube reviews, and this is a good outlet for additional information that is not single pen specific. I love that Roy brings his sense of humor to the podcast. It is nice to have someone with a relatable sense of humor!
