Tori in AtlantaCheers to Minnick!Always insightful, credible, and fun! I love how this host hand-selects bourbons for his guests to taste. And he likes Knob Creek (which my hubs and I agree is underrated!). Minnick asks the questions I want to know!

Cperk21When you wanna know, you listen to FredFred is the authority on whiskey. That part you may already know from his books and articles, but he’s also an incredible interviewer with a sharp wit and a great sense of humor! This podcast is a must listen!

asburyjerEclectically BrilliantFred sports his ascot and his flair and it just makes his brilliance all the more unique. The command of his palate is a rare thing and truly aspirational. His show has a variety of content and entertaining for seasoned bourbon aficionados and novice fans alike.

musicman92580Fred knows WhiskeyIf you ever wanted an honest review about all things whiskey, sometimes rum and almost never vodka, then this is the podcast. His relationships with music icons and whiskey legends leads to some very entertaining interviews. You will enjoy these podcasts.

Pete SaboWhiskey and CultureFred's one of the leading experts on all things whiskey--especially American whiskey, bourbon, and rye--and his exertise and wealth of knowledge about the subject is on target for all his hows. What I didn't expect was to take so much interest in musicians talking with him about whiskey. Fred is a great interviewer that asks good questions, which keeps the audience engaged and hungry to learn more.

Shamu_afterlifeWho interviewed who? Dead Posey or Fred?I think this was one of the best episodes yet. Danyell and Tony had a genuine interest in learning about bourbon and especially Fred. I thought it was very nice that they were just as interested in Fred’s story, his being a veteran, his charity involvement as Fred was in their story.

Allan247Glad to see this podcast is coming: high quality, integrity, bourbon, and musicians…count me inMy initial review was written in anticipation of this podcast: now I’m updating it after having heard the first four episodes…. …and my 5-star rating remains unchanged. Recognize that these interviews do not focus solely upon spirits: the conversations flow as an interesting discussion. Yes, bourbon will come into the discussion. I appreciate getting exposed to musicians that I typically wouldn’t hear of. I look forward to each episode. My original review is below: ——————— I’m smiling in anticipation of this podcast (and also based upon its trailer). My first exposure to Fred was through his bourbon books… then through podcasts where he was a guest… then from a podcast where he joined some existing hosts… then from his Youtube materials. I find him to always be PRESENT in his discussions, and to have a very REAL rapport with the people he talks with, and that he maintains his own persona and opinions (even if they don't fully mesh with the person he is talking to). (He’s also extremely knowledgeable on bourbon and spirits, to say the least, and I've found the quality and integrity of his materials to be extremely high). As Fred only provides a numerical score of a whisky after tasting it 3 times, I will update this review (text, and star-count) by end-February, based upon the actual episodes broadcast.

JR HendersonIf you enjoyed “Bourbon Up”...From the teaser content alone, it’s obvious that the texture of this show is going to be great. Fred’s ability to sit down and connect with someone on a personal level is superb—and combine with that whiskey history and tastings—just subscribe now!
