    funny, quirky & insightful!
what a match of comic material & crafty insight! Zoë and Erin are my favorite feminists- their intelligence, empathy, quirkiness & true funniness!! there’s a true camaraderie between them thats never strained, always genuine, and yoelds even more insights! Like Persephone loves hers, they each love their man (both named Sam!) Thank you both for the amazing hours I’ve spent listening , doubled up in what looked like silent laughter to the passer-by (i’m usually walking my dog) Thank you thank you, you will be greatly missed..,although hey I only “met” you about 18 months ago so…Patreon I’ll be back often, to find out the whole story of Lore Olympus (thanks Rachel) & for all the extra amazing explorations of Greek mythology! with musical bits! Yours in exclamation points

The perfect Lore Olympus companion podcast!
I love Lore Olympus, and this podcast absolutely brings it to life. The insight and observations presented by the hosts is super fun and enjoyable. I love pulling up the webcomic (or opening one of the books!) and following along. Five Stars. Wish it could go on forever!

    The CACKLING!
The emotional healing you have given me with your cackling is beyond words! The way you incorporate show-tunes and songs into every episode is “chefs kiss” Love this podcast and I’m glad to have gotten to go on this rollercoaster that is Lore Olympus with you.

We’ve spent a lot of time together.
We don’t know each other, but we have spent a lot of time together through your glorious podcast and our mutual love of Lore Olympus. What an extra treat it has been to be able to listen to other likeminded people who rage, thirst and love these characters as much as I do. I will miss all of your banter and tangents, but what a glorious run it was! Congratulations on 400 reviews!

I CAN’T BELIEVE WE MADE IT
Well it took me entirely too long to figure out how to leave an iTunes review, but we made it with time to spare (just like Persephone). I have been listening to this podcast since around your episode 60-something. I have listened through the entire podcast so many times, and every time I finish I start over. I laugh, I cry, I pretend you two are my friends who talk to me about something no one else in my life loves. This podcast got me through the pandemic, it got me through two different toxic work environments, it got me through quitting my job and moving my life across the country with no money. And now that I’ve finally made it to a place I feel more on track than ever, it’s coming to its natural ending. It seems silly to feel so emotional about this, but I am going to miss you guys sooooooo much. Mondays will never be the same. Thank you for giving of your time, talents, money, and energy to keep us all entertained and help create a really big part of the Lore Olympus fandom. I hope you both know how important you are and how important this podcast was. Thank you. Until we hopefully meet again, perhaps in another podcast. ❤️ One of your ride or die fans, LeiLani P.S. I’VE BEEN NEEDING TO TELL YOU THIS SINCE YOUR EPISODE 72. In e141 of LO y’all missed the VERY IMPORTANT fact that when Hades comes back from that run and lifts his shirt, and Persephone is shook by the sight of him, in that panel, she is fully groping her own breasts/nipples, no one can convince me otherwise, and I need you guys to go look back at that panel so you can agree with me! Ok that is all. Bye! Love you guys 🥲

    LITERALLY my Hestia Mamas
After falling in love with Lore Olympus way back when, I fell in love all over again with this podcast. It was my first one and truly none other can compare. Call me crazy but I have listened to these amazing funny girls 3 times already: the first was my intro to them, the second I went along with the comic and the 3rd is literally my favorite background noise. It was during my 3rd go around that I realized y’all are my Hestia mamas, since you are literally my bread and butter to make it throughout the day. I joined patreon not too long ago and OMG it’s such a treat!! From the Brittany Spears songs to the Boy OlymPod, it’s a must for the amount of fun and insightful content. Love you girls and this comic so much! I’m extremely sad that it’s coming to an end but looking forward to any other projects you girls have in the works. You have a fan for life, thank you for everything! <3

    Cheers to 400 iTunes Reviews!
This podcast is everything and more if you love Lore Olympus. I started listening to this podcast a couple years ago, and it’s been the greatest joy experiencing this comic with you two lovely ladies! From the musical references, poop jokes, sex toys in a box, and hysterical character voices this podcast will truly elevate your Lore Olympus experience. I will truly miss this podcast and congrats to you both for the 150 episodes of pure entertainment (not including the amazing patron content). I wish you two the best and maybe you two can do a spinoff podcast when they release the TV show.

    since the beginning
I’m not much of a podcast person, but Lore Olympod has been the best podcast I have ever listened to! Zoey and Erin have bring everything together: jokes that make me maniacally laugh, musical references that I look forward to every episode, and iconic bits that live rent free in my head. I started this podcast at episode 5 and I’ve been listening to this since my freshman year of high school. It’s been amazing to go through this podcast journey and Zoey and Erin have made Lore Olympus all the better!

    Curb Stompin’
Cannot believe I haven’t written a review yet! Been listening to these ladies for awhile, and they are amaaaaaaze balls! I feel like I’m with my two best friends discussing my favorite comic. This podcast is the best ever!
  • harperphillips
    Why is it over?!😭
As someone who hasn’t been able to get anyone else in her life into Lore Olympus, I’ve so appreciated getting to be nerdy & excited with you two! There have been so many times when your read of the chapters have made me appreciate things I missed! Thank you for all your work, silly thirsty ladies! I hope you come back for a Frasier rewatch podcast 🩷
  • itsnotgay
The podcast may be ending, but my love is eternal.
Okay, let’s try this again. I’m currently stealing my son’s phone for THE SECOND TIME. My opinion of this podcast hasn’t changed (and will never) Erin and Zoey, you have my sword and undying loyalty. Furthermore, it’s still YES to feminism and the downfall of capitalism, and ESPECIALLY STILL A BIG GET PROMETHEUSED to whoever made fun of Erin’s laugh. I’ll miss you, but I will be binging these again for the millionth time.
  • ThinksALot29
Thanks for being my listening friends for this journey
    Here’s to 400! (hopefully)

    5 star quality laughter
I started listening to this podcast because I like lore Olympus, but stayed because of how infectious their laughter is. Thanks for making my drives go by faster for the past few years!

The best podcast of all time
I don’t care what anyone says, this podcast is literally the best one to exist. Between the Lore Olympus discussions and theories, musical references, and inappropriate inside jokes, it’s truly the best piece of media on the internet (besides Lore Olympus itself) when I started reading this series, I had no one else to talk about it with, and when I found the podcast it felt like I found 2 partially-sober best friends to rant about one of my favorite things with. You guys have been the glue to my mental sanity for years, and I don’t know how I’m going to do without your new ideas and innuendos every week. However, the horrors persist and so will I. Seriously though, thank you ladies for absolutely everything you’ve done 🩷💙
  • Samtaern
    And iiiiiiiiii
Will always love you guys. I hate to see this podcast come to an end, you guys have gotten me through days in which i didn’t think i could get through and i always love to hear the mythology intertwined with each new character and the explanation. When i first started listening i was immediately hooked because you both explained the episodes to a T and made everyone laugh at the thirst traps 😂. Will be listening to this podcast everytime i will miss LO and your guys explanation of it all 💓
  • JessiLM0745
    Erin’s laugh, that is all.
Amazing podcast. I’m sad I didn’t know about it before but glad I have episodes to binge. Also, I love the feminist perspective, and I agree down with capitalism. I love you both! Also, to the person who complained about my queen Erin’s laugh, get Prometheus’d.
  • MathIsVibes
Ok remember in episode 75 when
Love this podcast, blah blah, nice things, but ok remember in episode 75 when Persephone is imagining what an independent life could be like when she had a job and her own place and the first thing she imagined herself doing was getting her ears pierced?! And then in episode 192 when she was pulling herself out of the Big Sad from being banished to the Mortal Realm and the FIRST THING she did was get her ears pierced by the most iconic tattooed nymph?! I remember that time.
  • TiggorMom
    I will miss you guys
I discovered this podcast right after my best friend and I falling out and it couldn’t have come at a better time. Listening to you girls go over this comic making all of jokes and small talk helped heal that missing part of my soul. My first thoughts reading a new episode is almost always “I wonder what the girls are going to have to say?” You guys make me notice things about the comic and myself that I never would have on my own. There were times your podcast was the only thing making me laugh or smile. My friend and I have now made up and I’m trying to get her into the podcast before it’s officially over. I am BIG sad that it’s all ending. Thank you so much for all the hard for you put into the podcast and Patreon. You have helped me in so many ways. With Love, Cassidy

    Lore Olympus geeks unite!
I have loved reliving the amazing Lore Olympus comic through this podcast! I do have to say, Kronos has two hard O sounds. It doesn’t rhyme with male anatomy 😂
  • Itsmorelikelythanyouthink
Zoey and Erin made me funnier?
I’ve been listening to you guys for years now and genuinely I think you’ve made me funnier?! Like, I know how to do a conversational bit now 😆 Thank you both for all the laughs. I honestly think I’ll miss this podcast more than the webtoon, and not just because you guys taught me improvisational comedy 💙💖
  • SheaBaby13
    Mothers
I have been listening to Lore OlymPOD since the beginning, and absolutely nothing brightens my spirits like Zoey and Erin. I work in a tattoo shop where I am the only woman among a bunch of middle aged white men and LET ME TELL YOU the looks and questions they have for me when I’m crying with laughter listening to these gals. I have so much love for you ladies, thanks from another Maryland gal.
  • lyons35
running is hard but you guys are funny
it’s my first year in college and for some reason i decided to become a runner too and the only reason i’ve been able to stick with it this far is i listen to these episodes and laugh so much i forget how awful running is! never change you guys are amazing
  • Momo shikiro
    A++ podcast!
If you love Lore Olympus, you will love this show! Great way to revisit the story when you only have time to listen to things and the commentary is fantastic. Also dried ramen snack is perfect, fight me! The Kronos and Apollo voices get me every time 😂 Also btw your most recent episode, lying for fun didn’t upload right and it cut off at 13 minutes. I’m devastated.
  • Arainalot
    KRONOS
This is a review I meant to post ages ago. I wanted to point out from an earlier episode how Kronos is able to possess Hades’ body at the end of the second season while simultaneously Hades is laying unconscious in a bed of roses by the door to Tartarus. Basically; time powers. Kronos possesses a version of Hades from the past who had shorter hair while current day Hades is unconscious downstairs.
  • ImASlytherinAndImProud
    Funniest podcast I’ve ever heard
This is my favorite podcast ever. You guys are genuinely entertaining and my only source of musical references since my friends don’t listen to musicals (tragic, I know). My new year’s resolution, which I’m sure will fail, is to stop listening to this podcast at school so I don’t seem crazy to everyone else since I giggle like a maniac every time I listen. I don’t know if Rachel Smythe listens to this or not, but if she doesn’t, she’s really missing out.
  • chthonic_fatigue
    Dried ramen snack (iykyk)
I never thought this is what would finally prompt me to write a review, but I started listening to the most recent interview and HAD jump to Zoey’s defense. I recently ordered a bag of Baby Star brand crispy ramen noodle SNACK from Bokksu market. That’s right, in Japan you can buy dry, crispy, seasoned ramen noodles as a snack, in multiple flavors. Granted, this is still intended as a snack, not as an entire meal, but close enough. Anyway, love you guys, and for everyone who’s listening: get yourself a patreon subscription! So much content for the low, low price of one dollar a month (sometimes equal to five quarters or so)!

This Podcast Is My Sense of Humor
Sometimes I worry about the parasocial relationship I have with these girls. We live on opposite sides of the country and they have no concept of my existence, but I SURE WISH THEY DID. Call me if you guys want to hang out. Any phone, any number, I’ll find it. I’ve listened to Lore OlymPOD more times over than I have actually read Lore Olympus. Z&E are so funny and perfectly satiate my requirement to be constantly consuming content. 1000/10

    Can’t stop laughing
This is my favorite podcast of all time. I’m in love with Greek mythology and lore Olympus but none of my friend are. You guys are my only outlet to the puns, dirty jokes about hades, and musical references. I’m literally listening to Hadestown right now and am trying to fill the void until a new episode comes out. Thanks so much for making my days and being the funniest people.

There is a modern Sheila Na Gig that you need to know about!
Ladies. 5 stars. Perfect 100% of the time. No notes. But I need you to know that we have a modern version of a Sheila Na Gig thanks to the also perfect Camedianne Iliza Shlesinger and it is called “Raptor Vag”. Please look it up, and don’t steal it as a tattoo idea because I will be dedicating a leg to this idea.

    Cup of tea
Hello, I want to start with I found you guys on let’s talk about myths baby when liv read your guys reason on why Theseus was the worst Greek hero. At first I didn’t like the first few episodes tbh because of the laughter because wasnt my cup of tea but I though “ give it a chance Ana it should get better “ and which it did. And now I love the show and laugh along with you guys on the jokes. I love how you guys make my 10 hr shifts go by fast. I ESPECIALLY LOVE WHEN WHEN ERIN WAS TALKING ZOEY WHISPERED “ I need a drink” it was especially funny to me because it was such a casual thing. I love love the show and have made me look at lore Olympus in another way at first I read just for fun but now because of you guys I see the deeper meanings it has and LOVE HEARING F APOLLO

    Hera and Kronos
Hey ladies, I’ve been listening since the start and I love you and all you do. ⭐️Thank you⭐️ for how you handled the recent episodes where we learned more about Hera’s sacrifices and her wrought, abusive relationship with Kronos. It meant a lot to me that you didn’t entertain the topic of her maybe “being in love with him” and explaining the confusion and pain of abusive situations. As a survivor of abuse and Fd up shht, this meant a lot to me. Thank you for having Hera’s (and my) back. (Also, I sent that Ahole to prison, I got years of good therapy, and living a good life. Wishing the same for Hera’s character. 💛)

    Spectacular
I cannot say enough kind things about this podcast, it’s like talking about a favorite series with good friends. It gets me through my long commute and makes me laugh ridiculously causing my coworkers to stare at me awkwardly. 100/5 stars 💖

    Coconut Water
As a current 14 year old who has been listening since episode 13, I couldn’t not try coconut water after all the mentions. Suffice it to say, I advise any other underage listeners to stick to water or cola. Let me tell you, that stuff is disgusting and I’ll never forgive y’all for making me suffer that experience. Otherwise I love you guys and your podcast ❤️

    SWEATY GIRLS UNITE!!!
so i’m 14 and i live in florida and i can’t explain how happy i was when i found out that you guys struggle with this too because it’s so gross like i’ll just be sitting in class and i’m drenched in sweat just from two flights of stairs and some humidity! so thanks for the representation you guys are definitely not alone (also i think it’s called hyper hydrosis when you sweat a lot)❤️❤️❤️

This isn’t a podcast, this is a podfamily
I want to start this by saying I absolutely love this podcast, it’s something I look forward too more then the actual episodes of LO, I feel like I’m sitting down with two sisters who don’t have any filters and contagious laughs. Would y’all ever do a deep dive into the story as a in critique what you read? For example a third parties opinion on LO through difference in opinion? Again love your podcast, your great comfort after my long days at work. I started looking up musicals to what y’all are referencing. Btw Hades in episode 185 stays superior, I will always wish to switch places with that chicken😤😮‍💨

    Vanessa Hudgens
I could echo a lot of the other reviews about how amazing Lore OlymPOD is, but I more urgently need Zoe to know that Erin was right about the significance of Vanessa Hudgens to this podcast. I don’t know how, and I don’t know why, but for as much as I love everything you two do here - your take on Vanessa Hudgens has had more staying power with me than literally anything else. I didn’t even have an opinion on her before, and my life has fundamentally shifted. Thank you for your service. Amen. And congrats on getting ads btw! I hope you’re getting paid because I’ve been getting ads at the beginning of the past few eps and was very excited for you.

    Queer Millennial Canon
This podcast somehow perfectly encapsulates every nerd-dom one could possibly hope for: unpacking Greek mythology through pictorial and literary close reading and analysis, very explicit quotes to RuPaul’s Drag Race (#doingthebesticaninthegivensituation; #nottodaysatan) while also somehow seamlessly weaving in musical theatre references, feminism, daddies and cackling. Zoey and Erin are a triumph, a masterpiece, the Olympus of Podcssters. Listen NOW!

    Filling the void
You both are amazing human beings and you have both been a ray of light in my life since episode one. It makes me feel like I can share my obsession with like minded besties. Keep up the shenanigans you have a life long subscriber and Patreon!

Flashback to episode 118 of Lore Olympod
Hi I’m a Spotify user but I’ve come all this way to share the opinion that Zoe and Erin really sounded like political commentators during ep 118. So much so that when my mom overheard me listening to this podcast as I unloaded the dishwasher (as one usually does on their monday mornings) she was convinced some dude named Apollo was running for president. She asked if we should be concerned to which I curtly replied “no”. Ty for doing this podcast with ur animated personalities. it really helps the time go by in between updates.

fun fact about the Persephone kidnapping
hoi so when kore (I’m saying lore instead of Persephone cause it’s a mouthful) was in the underworld, she found the garden where the magical pomegranates were. Demeter did tell her a little about eating food in the underworld but she thought there was a certain limit. She was like ‘Oh I haven’t eaten in awhile but a pomegranates not gonna hurt anyone’ she ate however many seeds when she heard Hades. She dropped the pomegranate and kicked it behind a bush. She hid her dirty hands behind her back when Hades was like ‘Hey Hermes is here to take you back.’ Hermes asked her if she ate anything and she was like, ‘No!’. Askalaphos, a gardener who watched her eat, was like, ‘Bro she did eat. She ate some of the pomegranate.’ Persephone showed them her hands. Hermes was like ‘Jesus now I have to do more paperwork.’ Later, Demeter found out that Askalaphos snitched on her and since snitches get stitches, she turned him into a lizard or (some other variation) a screech owl (screech owl is Hades signature bird). He went and hid under a rock. I think he was part of some other heroes quest but I’m not entirely sure. You guys don’t like ordinary reviews so there’s a badly written story.

OMG OMG I Can finally!!!!! Write a review
Okay so Erin and Zoey (I hope I spelled that right) I literally went out and bought a MAcbookair so I could write a review. Okay that was one of the reasons lol. I love this podcast and I have no cool friends who are willing to fan girl with me over this amazing webtoon (thank you Rachel) I literally read the webtoon and am like oh my goodness what are my lore olympod Ladies gonna say about this. You guys are hilarious, and crazy and I am so happy I stumbled onto this originally on google podcasts. The amount of times I have literally laughed out loud listening to this podcasts it makes my day. Bless you ladies….

My favorite thirsty LO fan girls!
I LOVE listening to their commentary. They point out SO many things I didn’t notice the first (or second) time I read Lore Olympus. These two are often thoughtful, pointing out symbolism and parallels to other points in the story as well as adding in facts from historical mythology for us to appreciate. They also crack me up with the silly and lascivious comments as well. It’s perfect entertainment to help Lore Olympus fan survive the wait until the next episode and then chat about them once they are published. Thank you!
  • Biggensgirl
    So much fun!
I adore this podcast. Erin and Zoey are just a delight to listen to! I’ve been binging from the beginning and almost caught up. It has been fun to revisit Lore Olympus with them and I can’t wait to get current with them. They have a fun take and fill us in on character backgrounds from original mythology. Plus, they make frequent musical theater references that I am here for! When I listen walking to my office from the parking garage, I have a smile the entire time, people probably think I’m crazy and I could not care less. This is a podcast that will always brighten your day, they even make the rough topics tolerable. Definitely worth a listen, especially if you like Lore Olympus and musicals 😁

A friend asked if there is an audio format for this comic (since reading is apparently a bit pedestrian) and I recommended this podcast. No other audio format could so clearly describe a visual medium. You’re doing the work of the gods. Keep it up, ladies!

New Year, New 5 Star I-Tunes Review
I would love to write witty or clever review, but I’m just not that creative. You two and this podcast are an absolute delight! I adore the varied levels of analysis and thirsty humor. The Patreon is the my favorite gift I give myself every month - the Outtakes and Bonus Ups are top tier.

    I LOVE THIS PODCAST
Hello! I don’t use Apple Podcasts but I had to leave a review because this podcast is just so good!! It unlocked so many layers of Lore Olympus I never recognized before, and the hilarity Zoe and Erin add to it with their references and jokes is amazing (my favorite bit is about their lack of knowledge on the Bee Movie). As a musical theatre person, I’m OBSESSED with the constant musical references, and I have two I’d like to add! #1: the fact that “My Unfortunate Erection” from 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee hasn’t been referenced yet stuns me to this day, and #2: I find that Persephone and Demeters relationship is a lot like “I Remember How Those Boys Could Dance” from Carrie: The Musical. Anyways, I love this podcast so much and every person should listen to it.

    Spotify Minutes
These ladies were my top podcast of 2022, with 11,308 minutes dedicated to in depth analyses of Gods, long diversions about salt, pure unadulterated hatred of certain purple characters, and flesh light coffee grinders, and I feel like that warrants a five star iTunes review.
