I just discovered this podcast, and I am already a big fan! Dave's brings an "everyman's" approach to his discussion of beer, but you can tell he has a deep knowledge of the subject. His smooth, comfortable delivery is both contemplative and meditative. I also enjoy the news and notes that he includes, as well as his specific knowledge of the Chicago/midwest beer scene. Kudos, Dave! Keep putting thos beers in front of you!

I am a long time craft beer drinker like Dave (early 90s) and I can appreciate bringing back those often forgotten beers we enjoyed back when craft beer was not so big. His tasting notes are honest and real without all that pretentious beer speak. He is also able to pull off a single host show without sounding like an NPR recording. He adds some funny content at the end of each show where calls out some jagoffs. So give it a listen. Cheers Dave!

What else do need to say about this podcast other than it’s pretty much perfect for beer lovers like myself! Dave is so easy going and personable that it’s just like meeting up at the pub weekly to talk with an old friend. An old friend that happens to know a lot about good beer!
