Weighted blankets, Harry Styles’s sleep story, ashwaganda from Costco, this podcast—these are tools I didn’t need in high school for adult “self-care” but I sure need (and enjoy) now. Cindy & Jason are great communicators and their observations on just living life are entertaining, hilarious, touching, poignant. A recent Nov. 25th, 2021 episode had me dying laughing as they endearingly, not mockingly, recreated an entire 对话 with a shop vendor in Mandarin-inflected Cantonese. I look forward to the day I can visit Hong Kong, spot them in the wild, give the lovely Cindy a hug, and pay Jason his due celebrity tribute.

I'm an ABC trying to get back to my roots in Cantonese, and stumbled across this podcast. I appreciate the everyday candid conversations, it feels like I'm talking with friends. It's great to have a fresh breathe of life with Cantonese, as normally I'd just have dramas or talking with family. I look forward to it every day when I drive home from work. Keep it up!!
