Entertaining podcast but wowww its so hard for them to stay on topic. It took them at least 20 min to start to actually talk about the movie and then continued to go off on irrelevant tangents.

Maybe don’t have someone that dismissive of the big Lebowski on the Lebowski podcast, she was so irritating, I had to stop listening and this is one of my favorite movies. Also, did she not get it was a comedy? This is not real life, it’s a movie. You don’t have to like it, but at least be aware of the genre.

But it seemed like it took quite a while for these guys to get past the banter and to the movie itself. Also, 2,5 hours is a loooong time to expect people to listen, esp on an episode about a film as simple as Aur Force One. Keep up the good work, guys, but try to get to it sooner, and edit out (some of) the stuff that’s unnecessary.

I listen to an insane amount of podcasts while I work: theology podcast, political podcasts, true crime, long form journalism, and so the list continues! The majority of what I listen to is heavy, weighty topics - but I also love movies! So, I set out to find a movie podcast! The best movie podcast! I landed on this one and have revisited most work days since - scrolling through the backlog until I find an episode that pops out to me! Half of the movies I don’t recognize - but even those episodes are fun because the dialogue is so great! Every member of the podcast has a unique, fun, meaningful bit to offer. There’s a variety of different formats and I’ve enjoyed the Talking the Mickey crossovers and Cleared for Takeoff episodes! If you enjoy meaningful dialogue, fun banter, mostly good opinions, (I’m still salty Iron Man wasn’t the crown jewel of the show - I have a soft spot for that movie) and some education in movie trivia, film technique, and 3 hours of material per some episodes (Heyooo Django Unchained episode I had to restart 4 times until I finally finished!) to pass the slog of a 8-5 by quick etc. this is definitely a podcast for you!

This podcast is great! All movie fans can get something out of this podcast! I personally love the quiz shows and the round tables. Not to mention they have reviews of movies and tv! Honestly it is a one stop shop for all your entertainment needs! I’m telling you, this is such a fun listen !

These guys know how it’s done. They pick great movies and have a blast breaking them down, plus they’re really active with their community. Give a listen!

BFE is ridiculously hard working, and it’s nuts how much high quality content they put out! Fantastic interviews, the always helpful See It Or Skip It, and full movie reviews (among others!) They deserve all of the listeners in the world just for being able to not only put out this much content but also do it as impeccably well as they do! Love this show!

I really liked this podcast. It's fun, intelligent and honest conversation about movies they enjoy. I like how they go through the movie nearly scene by scene and pick out interesting trivia or details about movie making that I didn't know before. I don't mind long podcast episodes personally as long as the flow is good and the conversation is lively. I would appreciate time stamps to break up things. If you like the movies they present, you'll love this show!

I can’t stress enough how great this podcast is. The hosts provide great content and just vibe so well together. I like hearing other opinions on movies I’ve seen before and I feel like I need to watch the ones they’ve reviewed that I haven’t seen because I want to listen to them all! 10/10 recommend!

This podcast uncontended best podcast out there. The host Ian is awesome because he basically embodies the spirit of the geek he works in references all my favorite shows in every single episode. All the hosts have great chemistry. They give an interesting insightful critiques. They have several categories on which they base their praise and criticisms. In all seriousness, this group of cinematic conversationists might not have seen every single film ever but they certainly know how to host an exciting film podcast. Having discovered them just recently, I’ve spent the last couple weeks diving into their catalogue and at the end of the day, all that’s left to say is that this show deserves my highest of praises. In a roundtable format, these hosts discuss some beloved movies. And while they might not necessarily love said beloved movies, I do appreciate the in-depth discussion. They also make me think about things I’ve never considered before. It’s an incredibly enjoyable show, and I think it can definitely become your next favorite.

Best Film Ever is such a fun show to listen to. The banter and back and forth between the hosts is very entertaining, as well as is their breakdowns and comments on the films they’re discussing. Their excitement is contagious and worthy of a listen, highly recommend.

I just watched “Clueless” again recently - a real favorite of mine - so it was super fun listening to the hosts/guests go through it with the different perspectives and opinions, breaking it down scene-by-scene. I love Wes Anderson films, so I'm on to "The Grand Budapest Hotel" episode now, and loving it. I really enjoy hearing all the lesser known details (ex: Goldblum vs. Anderson in the “a” vs. “the” fight). Keep it up, guys! P.S. The actor who played Ms. Geist played Kirstie Alley’s best friend in “Look Who’s Talking.” I probably watched that movie 50 times with my sister, as it was one of the first VHS tapes we owned.

I really wanted to like this podcast, but almost 12 minutes in and we still haven’t got to the discussion about the movie. Too much small talk and intro, fellas. Get to the content.

A variety of different film genres are reviewed and discussed in The Best Film ever. I really like how each host gives their take and varying perspectives. My favorite parts of the episodes are when they talk about certain scenes during the movies and delve deep into meanings. Super interesting discussions! Looking forward to finding my next movie recommendation through this podcast

I love listening to the hosts talk about movies. It really helps to have a film studies professor along for the ride as he points out a bunch of the minutia and symbolism of certain scenes that I wouldn’t have caught. I’m subscribed!

Omg I'm so glad I came across this amazing movie podcast. I absolutely enjoyed every minute of The Breakfast Club episode. It was funny and nostalgic at the same time. The hosts are so knowledgeable and fun!! I learned things I never knew and I'm a movie buff. Well done!! A +++
