For moms with daughters, big questions have emerged: How can we help them thrive? How can we offer hope, wisdom, calm, and strength? In the Girl Mom podcast, Kari Kampakis, a mom of 4 girls and author of 4 books, unites women who aim to be strong mothers raising empowered daughters. Addressing modern-day issues through the lens of faith, Kari helps mothers feel less alone, more encouraged, and more equipped in their relationships.

So grateful for Kari’s humble spirit and and her willingness to share godly wisdom on the topic of parenting young people. Although she focuses her topics primarily around girls, I’ve found that her experiences and wisdom translates to parenting young men as well. Kari is such an inspiration! I’m in a different stage of parenting than Kari, but still find these episodes so insightful. I love how Kari is so authentic and weaves her faith into each episode. I’m grateful for Kari’s wisdom that she shares from her years of parenting.

    March 12 episode
This episode was so timely at this stage in my life! I am a mother of three & my husband & I celebrated our 25th anniversary in December. While we still have a few years to go before we are empty nesters, the marriage advice shared in this episode was very encouraging & helpful! I especially appreciated the list of 5 intimacy statements that were shared. Thank you for sharing such practical ways to connect with our spouses!! Highly recommend!!

    Perfect episode with fantastic insights
I have enjoyed many episodes but this last one was perfect for me… I’m 46, coming up on our 25th anniversary on June 13, just became empty nesters with a son who is a junior and daughter a freshman in college (both half way across the country). Thank you so much for sharing your experiences and expertise!

    Boy Mom Approved
I just listened to “5 Things Teen Boys & Young Men Should Know” and took notes the entire time! As a mom of two boys and a school social worker…in a middle school, can I get an amen…this episode with Will Hudson was more than a blessing. I’ve already got my wheels turning regarding ways to incorporate Will’s five points, along with all of Kari’s nuggets, into my work with young men. The struggle is real, and the opening discussion about our culture’s definition of masculinity is spot on. Find the time to soak this one up. You won’t regret it. Thank you Kari and Will for your time and wisdom!

    Too robotic, but great info
Kari offers so much good advice and info! I wish she didn’t sound like she’s just reading the entire script, though; I would appreciate a more conversational, spontaneous vibe - an outline with points rather than like she’s reading a book to us. Also I love her sweet southern accent!

Kari Kampakis is a gifted writer and speaker. Her work is FULL of wise, relevant advice. It has impacted me and my friends in a powerful way. I have so many takeaways each time I listen to her. She manages to keep things real and honest, but always positive. Making friends in college
5 plus stars ! Love this beautiful podcast thank you Ella for your peer witness ! It is so hard today to find role models for our girls built on solid rock the secular world shows us such a contrast to what superficial friendships look like. Thank you to this beautiful dynamic duo of what Godly friendships look like and what we desire in hearts in friendships. Its great to hear this advice! we as moms often say as parents to our kids but hearing it from a peer going through it really helps our youth. I have heard from my daughter and her friends that it is very hard to find kind people in college and the sorority life at her school is not known for girls that are nice to each other and the hazing that goes on is very scary especially living in a city. Many of the girls my daughter has encountered are very broken many do not have a faith hard to find friends that are just kind have their faith and I think it comes down to the families are broken .However through much momma bear praying she has been blessed with few Godly friends on a campus of 21 000 kids. Thank you again for this podcast We will share this with moms and college kids!

I’ve “known” Kari from afar but she’s been a close friend to me in raising my daughter! Her words, wisdom and just plan encouragement has “anchored” my heart in my parenting journey! She loves the Lord, her family & daughters - that is “written” all over the books she has written and the blogs she has posted. So thankful for her and her ministry. Now she just needs to come to TX!
