Meditations in Manhattan

Like other forms of meditation, Christian meditation starts with mindfulness. Unlike them, it is essentially a dialogue with the "Love that moves the sun and the other stars" (Dante), and leads to a deeper friendship with Jesus Christ. In these recordings, Opus Dei priests reflect and pray out loud to stir hearts to this dialogue. A new meditation is released each week.

Love this

The meditations at Opus Dei recollections are often amazing, and I love how this podcast brings them right into my kitchen when I’m making dinner or whatever I am doing around the house. I especially enjoyed listening to the Lenten retreat episodes (which happened to be from the retreat my husband attended). This week I’m particularly grateful to God for Fr. Phil’s meditation preached at OLMC in NJ; it was an amazing connection between Corpus Christi and the Sacred Heart and everyday life.
