I love the songs that have been highlighted so far in this series, it’s the perfect length for a podcast, and the context and musical content of each song is explained clearly. I have two pieces of constructive feedback- sometimes the background music is overbalanced in relation to his voice, so you have to strain a bit to hear the detail of what he’s saying. Also, it would be great to hear the actual songs he’s talking about, rather than his cover versions throughout. Links to the original songs are provided in the show notes, but when he’s talking about what Sam Cooke does(for example) with background vocals in “Bring It On Home to Me”, it would’ve been awesome to hear that during that part of the show. I’m wondering if it’s a copyright issue, maybe? Anyway, will continue to listen!
