    Am I missing something?
I’m giving this an honest listen. The ratings seem to be strong, so I figured; what the heck? I’m currently 16 minutes in to episode 95 and there’s just rambling inside jokes, obscure references to wandering innuendos and absolutely nothing about woodworking. I’m hoping the hosts understand the old journalist’s wisdom - don’t bury the lead. They’re losing me. It’s a tough listen.

    Informative and entertaining
Great podcas, just some guys being dudes. Fun to listen too, learn (a little) and love the stacks and jokes

    Used to be better
In the latest episode, at minute 34, they remembered the show was about woodworking… and then proceeded to complain about AirBnB housing trim, and how climate change is affecting the timing of the elk rut. It still deserves two stars however, because it’s a great cure for insomnia.

    Way to many ads.
A few ads at the beginning and end are fine but constantly interrupting the show makes it unlistenable.

Love the show but the mid roll is making unsubscrib
Get rid of these new mid roll ads. It has no flow and angers the listeners. If they stick around I’m contemplating no longer listening to the show. Love you guys but it’s just tacky and bad

Great podcast, don’t care for the ads.
Man, I have really enjoyed this podcast but the new ads are very annoying. Might be enough for me to unfollow. I know I’m not a patron on patreon, but are the ads a must to make it work? I would rather contribute on patreon if that is what you are after. I also started to be annoyed a couple weeks ago when the “yo buddah!” were really often and very annoying. Why all the changes!?

    Campbeltown
I know Jason has an affinity for whiskey, and also that he is coming to Minneapolis this week (heard on the YouTube livestream). I live in MN and just returned from a trip to Scotland, one of the bottles I brought back is from the Springbank distillery in Campbeltown, and I’d be happy to share some while he is in my state.

    Best podcast!!
I sure enjoy this podcast. It's just like you are hanging out with a bunch of buddies shooting the breeze. Keep up the great work.

    My favorite podcast!
I have wood shop in Tampa, Florida and work alone a lot or have hearing protection in with Bluetooth audio. They are goofy wood nerds just like me and so funny. Lots of great info and problem solving stuff as well in these podcasts. Honestly it makes my day go by so much better and faster. I find myself just laughing at stuff only another furniture/ wood shop people would laugh at. Sometimes I’ll listen to the same one over and over. Thank you guys for all you do. Keep up the amazing work!

The Seinfeld of the Woodworking Podcast World
Not only does Keith rattle out some seriously awesome Seinfeld references during the Bits n’ Bits Ad, but the entire show revolves around woodworking, the personal lives of the hosts, and all sorts of other things that I personally enjoy. Thanks for all you do, y’all! Love every minute of it.

    Meh it could be worse
I like hearing about nothing and everything at the same time. This works.

    Nothing, but also woodworking
Love listening on my commute! Nick, Keith, and Jason have great banter and despite this being a podcast about nothing, I’ve picked up some great tips and recommendations. At this point, I’ve listened to so many episodes in a row that I’ve forgotten we aren’t actually best friends. Expect a Christmas card this year boys!

    The Seinfeld of Podcasts
Great Podcast. Entertaining and you can pick up tips and tricks along the way. Helps pass the time while sanding and will no doubt be a classic in 20 years! Would love to see who yall think is Jerry, Kramer, and George between the three of yall?

    Great Show!
I look forward to this podcast, there is a lot of very good information discussed. I especially like the humor with Jason Keith and Nick!
  • rjhammy
    Its good
The bourbon guy is funny. We could do without kj
  • fiveoboy01
    True to the intro…
“A woodworking podcast about… nothing.” That’s the truth, there’s very little actual woodworking talk. Jokes and quips are funny, but it’s pretty much useless from a standpoint of gathering any real info about the craft. I was able to take half a dozen episodes before dropping it.
  • jameythegreatone
    Love the show
My wife and I recently started wood working. We found your YouTube videos and now we listen to your Podcasts. You guys are a hoot.
  • Bradwlong
    Music to my ears!
I love all the witty banter, informative content, and the three personalities play well off each other to create a very enjoyable and educational use of my time. I did, however, come pretty close to fainting while driving and listening to Jason talk about pulling a fish hook out of his hand. Kudos for the clarity of the mental imagery but seriously, almost passed out and wrecked. Keep it up! I’m not a Patreon supporter, just not my thing, but if you’re reading this and want to support some salt of the earth gentleman then this is a great one for that. I will be buying the t-shirt though.

    Oh that Jason Hibbs
Love the podcast. I listen while working in the shop and it is like y’all are right there. I keep calling for Caspy, KJ, HD Twinkie The Kid or what ever he is being called this week and no answer. Really would like the host who cannot decide who he is to make a decision so that I can make a plaque that says WWKJDH. All kidding aside thanks for having a podcast about nothing that is really informative. What you may think is not informative is actually really informative to those who don’t know. Nick keep your Indus Ink in a safe place it may become the next hot item. Keep on Keeping On.

    Great Personalities
Awesome listen, great personalities. One of my favorite listens when working day job (web development) when I’d rather be working in the shop. Keep it up dudes!
  • 3dayburn
    Great Listen
They really help pass the time while I’m sanding.

If you are looking for a woodworking podcast, this isn’t it
So I’ve listened to every episode to date and honestly it’s not what I want. The three guys are pleasant enough with good senses of humor, but in the most recent series of episodes they seem to be more concerned with talking about making content for YouTube rather than talking about woodworking. If you are looking for a podcast that dives into the methods, tricks and Q&A - go elsewhere. I really want to like it, but it’s just not the informative content I’m looking for, such as Woodtalk.
  • HSadventures
    Awesome podcast!
As a beginner, hobbyist, and willing learner for all things woodworking, your podcast is so entertaining! I found your podcast through Bourbon Moth’s YouTube channel, and now I’m Obsessed with all three of you guys. I love that this podcast is funny, makes me actually LOL while listening to it at work, and it inspires me to get home from work and get into my shop! I love all three of your background stories, and it’s so inspiring to me that I can practice, learn, practice more and learn from my mistakes, and get better and more proud over time with my builds. I hope you guys keep going and thanks for inspiring me!
  • Steinmade Woodworking
    Entertaining and surprisingly educational!
I just listened to your video editing episode and obtained a ton of information about filming and editing in my own shop. Love the back and forth. Enjoying the episodes. Keep them coming!

    Funny and informative
    Great show, y'all!
  • Handmadebymjf
Glad to have found the show.
I have been a recent subscriber to Bourbon Moth, and love Jason’s work. The boat series was epic, especially the tribute to Team Zissou! I know Jason is hilarious, and so far the other fellas seem great too. I started at the beginning and plan on working up. Keep up the good work guys. Oh, and Jason, I tried to buy some stuff off your site, and couldn’t add anything to a cart. Fix it!

Good fun n learn a little about woodworking
As long as you are not offended by people making fun of your use of pocket holes or red oak, this will be a very entertaining hour for you. Regardless if you’re just getting started in the wood shop or have been doing it for years, the discussion among the three, and sometimes guest, about what they are working on, problems they encounter, and brainstorming solutions along with a glimpse into the social media world is fun and informative. Personally I’ve been listening while putting together cabinets lately.

Cool Dudes, Cool Podcast, Plus Woodworking
Stumbled across this podcast last week from one of their youtube channels. Great dynamic. Fun Guys. Nerdy woodworking talk that can quickly go over my head, but who cares! These dudes are fun! And I learn some things along the way. How many things in life can you say that about!?
  • Robzhfgcnvgcc
    Worst Baking Podcast EVER!
The great thing is it’s about woodwork, because there has been nothing about baking in it at all! As a beginning wood worker? wood workest? wood modifier? Anyways as a beginner this is great! The humor, banter and insight makes it very enjoyable and interesting considering the topic! Thanks guys!
  • Kiel (like Kyle)
    My new favorite podcast
I stumbled upon this podcast after watching one of Jason’s YouTube videos. I’ve been binging the episodes for the past day and I’m half way through. The banter is hilarious. My new favorite podcast for sure! Definitely going to check out the YouTube channels of the other guys too!
  • nickxedge
    Love this podcast!
Found this after finding Bourbon Moth on YouTube and following Jason Hibbs, aka the John C Reilly of woodworking. I’m a few episodes in and it’s the perfect mix of chit chat, woodworking talk and shenanigans. Really, it’s so good. Keep it up!

Great content from these guys. Love the banter and knowledge mixture.

    Entertaining
Always wonder what guys like this are up to outside of their social media life. Also like hearing about client interactions and the sort of business/how to get viewers on YouTube. Super interesting. Thanks guys
  • Pablovot
Sooo back to the cherry top...
I love the random unstructured nature of these guys and their ability to ramble on about things.

    It’s not the worst
I’m really into kungfu and started listening to this podcast because I thought it said “chop sounds” I was going to turn it off when I realized it was about woodworking but that guy Keith had such a sweet voice I couldn’t stop listening. I found a picture of him online and now I tape it over my computer screen when I listen to every episode. I’m hoping to build my computer into the shape of person so it feels more like he’s in the room with me. But I’ll probably need to listen to a few more episodes before I have enough Woodworking knowledge. I’d highly recommend this podcast if for nothing else then Kieths dreamy voice.
  • Nick @Statedwoods
    Awesome show
I love the podcast. Been a fan of everyones before this podcast. Super glad yall added Keith to it. Finally someone funnier than Jason! Keep it up!
