A great way to fill the void between series and episodes. As a US fan I’m typically at least one series behind and must delay my listening accordingly. I like how the pod is respectful of preventing spoilers in both descriptions and before revealing any news.

I really like this podcast and haven’t missed an episode! Ed is a great host and the content is great for a fan of the Taskmaster show. one issue though: the audio volumes are all over the place. I’m sure it’s hard getting consistent audio from all the guests using various teleconferences. But it can be really jarring. If the guest is quiet, I turn up the volume and then Ed’s responses make me jump out of my skin, they are so loud!!! And the transition music is so much louder than the voices so it’s the same issue. If at all possible to balance the audio volume levels, my ears would thank you kindly!

Amazing podcast for an amazing show! So happy my husband introduced me to it, the show and the podcast are somewhat that we truly enjoy together. The best! Ed is a great host, and so clever.

One point off due to season 9 not being properly available, I did find it though, Ed was a fun contestant.

In 2017, while living and working in Korea, South not North😉, I was flipping through my streaming options and saw a TV show that was in English. Desperate for English content television, I watch the show and was immediately hooked. Upon returning to the United States, I scrambled for a viewing option, but was unable to find one. It wasn’t until mid 2021 that I stumbled across the series on prime video. I’ve gobbled up every single episode, multiple times. Now, I have found a viewing option for series 12 and now every Friday morning, I kick my weekend off with a new episode before work and spend the rest of the day smiling. My drive home has an added treat of the TM podcast. Thanks for laughs so well needed in this strange and weary time. US viewer: Dr. Cathy

Almost as entertaining as watching the show itself! It’s fantastic to hear the behind-the-scenes insights and the amusingly nerdy analysis.

I love to hear the play by play and analysis. I think I finally understand why people waste their days watching sports. Only I don’t understand why they don’t just watch Taskmaster instead.

What a shame it had to end, on the Phil Wang guest spot, before they finished season four. Ed didn’t even say goodbye. But, a change in format is overdue and David Baddiel will make a good host for the podcast.

Ed is the most delightful host and I love hearing the inside scoop from current and past episodes. There could be a new episode every day and I would gobble it up.

I finally saw series 9 and was somewhat worried about Ed’s stability- so no matter what happens in the CofC he’ll still have this. Ed has always struck me as being pretty rational, let’s just say I prefer him as a host on the podcast to his psychotic rages, though they were often kind of fun too. The podcast itself is stellar I’m really hoping Sally Phillips will come on in series 5. But like most fans of the show my favourite contestants are about half the participants. And everybody else is good too, so the format just gives you tons of great guests. Thanks very much.

This show has been a Godsent. Taskmaster is an amazing show. My life has less joy when it is not airing new episodes. This podcast is the fix I needed. You are doing a great job Ed Gamble.

Vocals are at a 4 so I have to turn my volume all the way up but the music is at 11 so I blast my eardrums every time it’s played. As a yank I don’t know who most these people are, I’d like to hear just a brief snippet of who they are outside of Taskmaster. Great podcast, keep up the good work, fix the sound and it’s a 5 star review!

It’s a podcast about Taskmaster- if you like the show, you’ll enjoy listening. Self explanatory I think. Ed Gamble was an inspired pick to host. He has experience hosting podcasts and it def shows. He manages to maintain funny conversation without constantly talking over guests. Would be nice to have more Alex Horne episodes though, its cool hearing his actual thoughts since on stage he mostly plays a character.

What better companion to The Greatest TV Programme of all time than The Greatest Podcast Of All Time? Certainly host Ed Gamble could skate by on just good looks alone but he works hard and brings both personal experience as a contestant and genuine broadcasting chops to the genie’s table (cheeky Off Menu reference). Can it ever cure cancer? Perhaps. But can it cure The Winter Blues? Most certainly! Thanks Gamble, Horne, and Davies for this blessing in dark times.

Even when the series ends I would still listen to this every week with previous competitors talking about the show and their tasks.

Taskmaster is one of my favorite shows so it’s awesome to have this podcast to get even more Taskmaster content. Ed is a great comedian and podcaster and I’m excited to hear from all my favorite previous contestants.

I love hearing behind the scenes things about Taskmaster. I would listen to Ed talking about the show, and to former contestants for hours. I hope Joe, Lolly, or Noel come on at some point and talk about their tub team task.
