GobSmacker31Smackin gobsMy obsession with the wild turkey has me always looking for turkey talk and like minded individuals. I found this podcast shortly after they started and love the talks and tips and discussions around the subject. Top notch podcast and just wish it was 365.

ColeLucky13Podcast about the obsession!!Great podcast talking about everyone’s spring obsession. Great for picking up tips and they honest about when they mess up. Sounds like some guys I would like to hunt with.

Cow----//:;())$@The new age Tom Kelly’sFound out about these guys at ricks cafe in Starkville. Loved the live show and ordered a book and read through it within 2 days (haven’t done that in many years). Their mindset is that of the legends that a lot of people have forgotten and Hunter’s books and the spring legion podcast will show you just what I’m talking about. Got a chance to talk to em a few times at the NWTF convention and they’re just some good guys who love turkey hunting and the companionship and woodsmanship that comes with it. Awesome show guys

Connorperry22To the kings of spring:Always love hearing yall talk all things turkey and hearing yalls experiences! Keep inspiring the younger generation to get out there and get after those thunder chickens!

Doc 121409My personal favorite podcast. As many modern outdoors men nowadays, I listen to a lot of podcasts. There is no shortage of them. But these fellas, stand with the best of the best, unapologetic for who they are nor wavering in their convictions. They are learning as we are learning with them and it is endearing in today’s world. I’ve messaged Hunter and Chase both a few times and been happy to hold conversations with both at different times. Genuine men, with genuine passion, and it’s enjoyable and enlightening to digest.

Shane Carroll.Keep up the good work.As a newer turkey hunter this podcast has been a blast to listen to and I’ve learned quite a bit. I really enjoy listening each week, keep up the good work.

LaneC20Keep the Fire BurningHunter and Chase, As a young turkey hunter, I appreciate listening to the stories you guys have to tell. Y’all make it seem like I was there on these hunts, and I feel like I’m learning from turkeys that I never knew existed. It’s nice to see a passion for the wild turkey being shown in December, when the wild turkey is the last thing on many people’s minds. Great stuff you guys are putting out and glad to hear there many more to come.
-
The_noah_regaNot subject to changeLove listening to the stories and anxiously wait for new episodes!! I feel like I’ve been hunting with yall for years.

Loopus444Solid Turkey Hunting PodcastAs a passionate turkey hunter, I listen to quite a few podcasts. Hunter and crew do a great job of keeping you interested and wanting more. Knowledgeable guests help even an avid turkey hunter learn a thing about areas where most never even consider.

MattFrondorfBest Turkey Hunting Podcast 🦃The Spring Legion Boys have passion for Turkey Hunting! Hearing that intro into the podcast maybe the best sound there is! But on a serious note when it comes to Turkey Hunting, Hunter, Chase, and Austin have a wealth of knowledge. They are the definition of woodsman and the knowledge from this podcast has made me a better Turkey Hunter. Anyone who enjoys the outdoors and gettin after a few thunder chickens will enjoy this podcast! On a side note check out Hunters two books as well. Any Given Spring Morning and Ballad of a Turkey Hunter, both are freaking GREAT!

FlyingCartaThanks for a great podcastI’ve been listening to Spring Legion’s podcast for several years now. Hunter, Chase and Austin deliver knowledge in a laid back manner as if you’re sitting around a tree in the spring woods with some friends. Great job guys. Keep up the momentum!

JdgraydjiGreat show!I’ve been listening to this podcast for three seasons now as I am a new turkey hunter. It is a great show with just some good ol boys talking turkey hunting. I have learned many things thru this podcast and it is very enjoyable to listen to. I also recommend both of Hunter’s books. They are great resources, and great reads.

polke23Awesome PodcastBig fans of the spring legion. Like having serious turkey hunting dedicated podcasts to listen to!
-
SettyT11Great PointLove the podcast overall. Great for like-minded members of the Tenth Legion. More voices like these are needed in turkey hunting culture. The last episode had one of the best points yet; “you can be perfect and that bird will still beat you”. The best hunter, can do everything right on every hunt for the rest of their life and still never kill another bird if the birds act a certain way. That’s a point that’s not discussed enough.
-
AureliusMDThank youGreat pod, thanks for sharing!

B_mastersPure Turkey! Not many podcasts that like to talk turkey as much as Spring Legion. Stories and teachable tips and tricks are good for the novice and seasoned turkey Hunter’s. These guys just use deer and other seasons just to pass time until the spring. Great stuff!! Thanks Spring Legion crew for helping to scratch the itch!!
-
JJBTPh99Able to itch the itchGoing into my third spring turkey hunting and have yet to get a bird yet unfortunately, but not due to lack of effort or time spent in woods. The addiction and saying you only understand it when you get it, this podcast and the entire Spring Legion brand is the main reason why. I work a stressful desk job this time of year and the pods allow me to escape that and envision the spring woods and take notes on items to hopefully change my first sentence above this time around. Keep it up!
-
aragpilotA BIG thank you to Spring LegionI began listening to this podcast a little over a year ago. I can easily contribute a lot of my success this Spring to the things I learned while listening. Above all else this podcast and Ballad of a Turkey Hunter helped mold me into the hunter I am now. I am so thankful that Hunter and crew for creating this podcast. I look forward to new content and you guys have a blessed and bountiful spring! Drake Martin

JayTFowler1747Turkey FeverListening since day 1. Killed my first AL public land bird last year. And it struck a fire in me like nothing before in my turkey hunting career. This year I’ve booked more trips then ever out of state and here in AL. I think about turkeys 365 days a year and this podcast helps me through these cold days. My number 1 turkey podcast and some great people behind it! Keep up the good work can’t wait for the 2nd book to drop!
-
Nuclear chode69Great podcastI love the podcast and the book was a great read! I look forward to hearing new tips, tricks, and stories each week and y’all keep me going through the off season. Keep up the great work guys! Drew Finney

Show0ff22HOOKEDI’m 34 and went on my first turkey hunt last spring. Saw a bunch but I botched it big time. My patience got the best of me. Needless to say I am hooked! I’ve been practicing all my calls and can’t wait for February to start scouting the properties. Your podcast is really helping my turkey fever and teaching me tons. Thank you Thank you Thank you
-
LP55645Knowledge and InspirationI started listening to this podcast last February to try and hear some tips on how to hunt for my first season. I was lucky enough to harvest my first bird with my 6 year old son sitting right beside me on our little 5 acre hillside. Thank you guys for helping feed mine and his new addiction. Lennon Payne Nashville

bourn4baseballThank y’allI Love to listen to the podcast! I look forward every week to the new ones. I actually discovered y’alls podcast after hurricane ida and my family was displaced and I was making a two hour drive to work, one way everyday. Y'all helped me pass the time as I’d listen to all the older podcast when I didn’t have a new one to listen to. Y’all are down to earth and realistic about things. The rabbit holes y’all go down are great. It reminds me of myself and my buddies when we talk. I’ve been a long time hunter of deer and squirrels and ducks, but never turkey hunted due to myself being a baseball player and coach all my life. Well about 7-8 years ago I quit coaching high school baseball and I had a lot of free time to try the turkey hunting. Well long story short, that’s all I think about and all I want to do now. I manage my place in Mississippi now for turkeys and poults and building the population. Keep up the great work and keep making those memories in the fields and on the water so y’all can keep sharing the experiences.

jl_quickWhy Are You Guys Doing This To Me?This past weekend I’ve listened to the past 5 or 6 podcast on the tractor planting cover crop. I’m stoked for this years NWTF convention and talking with you guys. Won’t be long and the sounds of spring will be upon us. Hang in there guys!
-
Jess WarnerQuality Content, Coast to CoastListening to the folks at Spring Legion never fails to get me jacked & jonesing for turkey season, not that it takes much to get me going in the first place. I firmly believe that turkey hunting is the last bastion of the Old School way of hunting, while we have certainly added some gadgetry to the hunt, for the most part, not much has changed in the decades since turkey hunting returned to the forefront with their conservation success. As ambassadors for the pursuit, Hunter, Chase, Austin & the rest of the gang put their best feet forward in every iteration of the Spring Legion formats, making us all proud to wear the badge & present ourselves in a way to make Col. Kelly and our forbears proud. Keep up the good work boys and we’ll all keep tuning in!
-
bdiehrThanks fellas!Love the pod cast, guys! I took up Turkey hunting 4 years ago and have since harvested 4 toms. I quickly realized there are two types of turkey hunters and I love that you guys promote the good side of the two. The wild turkey needs advocates like y’all, so thank you for what you do. P.s. thanks for helping to keep the sanity in the off season here in Va. -B. Diehr
-

-
justinwarren90Informative & EntertainingI have really enjoyed listing to this podcast over the past eight months. I was invited and killed my first long-beard in Alabama this past April. I knew nothing about hunting these birds before hand, so I tuned into this podcast, hoping for a scrap of advice. These guys have since giving me not only advice, but a outlet to cure my gobbler fever until next season comes. They’re good ole boys, and it’s like listening to my East TX buddies talk about the woods. Keep it up!
-
Raines65TOP NOTCH TURKEY PODCAST!Y’all are my favorite podcast to listen to every week. Y’all keep me fired up for next season. It has a great range of information from different areas to hunt and how the birds are in the area to different plants and trees to plant for wildlife. Can’t wait for yall to post every Tuesday!

B-raddd44Always great to tune in!Always look forward to new episodes to listen to. New turkey hunter that only has access to public land, this will be my 4th season hunting. Have had some interactions with gobblers, but hoping these tips I hear will make the final pieces come together! Keep it up!
