    Unappealing banter
I gave this a shot because it’s a second ranked podcast for college basketball. They were dropping F bombs. That’s not appealing. And it was just a useless banter with very little insight. So I stayed for one episode and then went back to another competitor.

    Where are you?
How are you a national college basketball podcast and don’t have anything in your podcast feed 16 hours after one of the best Final Fours ever? Insane production decision…
  • Dubc718
    Not enough John Fanta
More John Fanta & Jeff Goodman would give this pod a five star rating

    Audio- WOOF
I enjoy the commentary, but man, when one audio output is much louder than everyone else’s (usually Fanta), it makes listening impossible. Constantly having to adjust the audio level is ridiculous.

    Less John Martin
Everyone on this pod is great. Martin looks and sounds like a douche and can’t stand listening to him

    Addition by subtraction
Would be a top college basketball podcast if it was only Dauster, Fanta, Hanson, and Hansborough. They’re the only knowledgeable ones who actually care about the game

    Recap of what?
Not bad, but you have nightly recaps where they spend most of the time talking about teams that didn’t play. Then you have to squeeze in actual games at the end and you cover them pretty dismissively.

    One Guy
Feel bad that this one-star has to apply to everyone on here when it’s really meant to be applied at the one jacka**. Go Zags!

Just get Goodman off of it
Get this guy off the podcast so it’s actually listenable.

    A10 Degen
The Field of 68 did an incredible job covering the Final Four, I could not get enough of the coverage and thought they did an excellent job with all of the guests and coaches they had on. Its one of my favorite shows they do every year. As someone who watches primarily A10 hoops they do a great job of filling me in with the national picture. During the season if you’re a degen hoop head like myself it’s a daily listen.

    Field of 68 Review
Love this show /podcast. The entire team does a great job covering college basket ball all year long. Looking forward to the shows from Arizona as they always get some great guests. One side comment seems like with the shows production you need to do a better job with the transitions in and out of commercial breaks. Go NC State!

    Awful and poor audio quality
This is not a professional podcast. The slew of former players and coaches can barely mumble incoherent sentences while talking trash to each other and avoiding anything resembling thoughtful analysis. The audio quality is poor and full of background noise.

They talk a lot of clap but they’re not so bad.

    Okay
Just okay. Also would be nice if they didn’t have their phones on vibrate right next to their mics.

too many cooks in the kitchen
Good content and frequent uploads. One of the better NCAABB podcast options. The only critique I have is they are often talking over each other. There’s a reason most broadcast teams are two people. Maybe consider rotating hosts and running two-person episodes.

    Unpleasant
The co-hosts clearly don’t like or respect one another. It was hard to listen to.

    Not a NCAA Basketball Podcast
This podcast is mid-named. You’d think the day before selection Sunday they would cover the potential bracket and seeding. No, this is a Big East podcast. Find something else if you are interested in the broader college basketball landscape.

    Big East + Bluebloods Podcast
If you love UConn, the Big East, blue blood programs and to a lesser degree the ACC and SEC, you will like this podcast. If you like the other 300+ DI programs there are better options, such as Three Man Weave.

This is a great show every night of the week. If your into CBB this is your show

    Ads on ads on ads
Started listening earlier in the year and my god in the last month you get about 5 mins of ads per content. 60 min pod will absolutely be 30 + mins of the same ads over and over again it will literally cut off mid sentence for an ad so you know what’s going on ugh

Goodman and Dauster should be working at McDonalds after the Blue Demon Degen debacle

    Go elsewhere
John Goodman and Bob Dauster are clowns. Bad human beings who think they’re “in” with college coaches. They don’t want fair coverage of CBB, they want it their way. Plenty of other good podcasts run by decent humans. Field of 68 is not it.
  • Roman Gods
    Egos looking for clicks
The sole purpose of this show is to feed the egos of the hosts. Worst off is Goodman who’s only goal in life is to hear himself speak as much as possible. If you want an interesting take on the world of CBB you will not find it here.

    Very bad podcast
Jeff Goodman knows nothing about basketball. Don’t listen to this.
  • BleacherNation Bum
    Self Absorbed Podcast
Jeff Goodman doesn’t know ball first off. Second he carries water for certain coaches in such a painfully obvious way it’s hard for me to really take his opinion seriously. Better podcasts out there like the Rebound Rundown.

    Awful
Yelling and talking over each other 80% on the podcast. Terrible product
  • JC BB23
Constant static and poor sound quality
Amazing that a “professional” podcast can put out something with good analysis but incredibly poor sound quality with constant static. First and last time I’ll listen if this is what it sounds like consistently. Unfortunate.

    Please please please
Buy microphones for all the members of your panel. Just good quality $100 podcasting mics. It is insufferable to listen when some people sound good and some sound like they’re speaking into a waterbottle

Disgusting. Enough said. “Always thrilled to see you”. I knew field of 68 folks had old connections with him but this is below you.

    Love the new coach interviews!
The Off the Carousel feature is the best… love hearing from all the new coaches.
  • wfsleithart
    Reunion episode was great!
Loved hearing Borzello and Matt Norlander on the pod! Unfortunately I find GP almost as unbearable as Goodman, but it was still great to hear all the personalities on that episode. Wish Norlander would ditch Parrish and just join you guys instead.

    Outstanding
Input of former players is great; high energy

    Rob dauster is a clown
I’d like to give this zero stars but I don’t want to hurt ratings on a show that has intelligent contributors. That being said, if you hear the dulcet tones of Rob Dauster coming in live, turn it off unless you’re exceptionally eager for 1.5hrs of terrible hot takes. I’ll give dipsit dauster this though, I bet his terrible takes drive the algorithms like crazy. Good for him. 99% the contributions to the show are fantastic. Dauster is the 1% donkey jester. Love the show, but too much UNC and Kentucky content; both teams are mediocre. CBB fans are ready to move on.

    Jeff Goodman stinks
Stop talking Jeff. We get it. You like Charleston.

Lots of fun, but really nothing but passing credit to UCLA
I enjoyed the rundown of the games, but the discussion of the UCLA/Kentucky game was 100% about how Kentucky lost. Not even one UCLA player name was mentioned. Yes, Kentucky shot poorly. Other than the free throw problem, a lot of that had to do with a stifling UCLA defense. Did you see the Maryland game? They got completely locked down. Many of the turnovers were forced, not careless errors. Maybe mention Jaquez amazing performance in the post against much bigger players? His name was not mentioned, but you all mentioned Oscar more than 10 times. Injury? Maybe, but the real problem was he was swarmed and triple teamed in the post, and the defenders still got to the perimeter when he passed it out to bother the shooting. One sided? Watch it yourself again, and wonder why UCLA fans would be scratching their heads after hearing your discussion.

    Good show
Love the show and you guys provide some great content for bball fans. But maaan you guys gotta get the production quality up. Also, I really miss the best bets with Rob and Jeff (my wallet does too).

Casual fan who loves the enthusiasm and analytical breakdowns
I just happened to come across this podcast a few months ago and really I don’t think any other podcast can match the intensity and ability of the hosts knowledge of college basketball. Even if you disagree in some of their takes they have energy and seem like they actually love the sport of basketball. I highly recommend everyone listen and just enjoy the sophisticated banter.

    Great Livestream
Rob’s throwing out G Tech to win the ACC tournament right when Virginia disqualified was an all time GOAT moment.
  • Ironmaking
    Far too much post game!
The fellas do a pretty good job of providing in depth analysis on just about every team. The only problem is they spend far too much time in discussion of non BETTING related topics. Remember: BEST BETS!

    Losing faith; get better.
This podcast has dwarfed into a rant or two not really supported by anything other than feelings. Jeff has been picking so much better but continues to get dumped on by Dauster who is extremely arrogant. And a podcast that is supposed to be about picks spends very little time making picks. i will continue to listen but it better get better or it will get dumped like many in the past who has a great podcast idea but fell short on the implementation.
  • Jpoli412
    Quality pod
I’m a big fan of the podcast. I find it very informative. I just wish you guys would rank your picks, or highlight your favorite play of the day when listing them at the end. Keep up the good work 👍🏻
