    Fantastic Resource for Puppy Parents!
As we anxiously await our GSD pup (3 more weeks!), I’ve been trying to learn as much as possible in hopes of maximizing our puppy time to help shape a great, balanced family dog. I’ve listened to so many podcasts and read all the things, but this podcast has been my favorite. I’m so thankfu! Kayla is so knowledgeable and all her advice resonates as reasonable, practical and thoughtful. Great job, Kayla! Thank you!

    Excellent and valuable tips
I really feel after listening to this podcast that I’m getting the inside scoop on optimal puppy training. From toy suggestions, to socialization checklists, the podcasters share resources I’d be unlikely to find myself. I’m feeling more confident with each episode!

    Informative, practical, and so valuable!
This podcast brings together some really excellent trainers and a number of experts with different specialties! Everyone who might be getting a puppy (or maybe already has one!) can find something to take away from this, whether it’s an episode on socialization and crate training, to an interview with a veterinarian on managing infectious disease risk with your puppy. This is a great foundation to start with before you take your puppy to puppy class or starts taking on the world!

    Fantastic resource
Have been in the waiting stage for a pup for about half a year now, and trying to learn as much as possible to be a good pup parent. Stumbled upon this after several other dog-oriented podcasts, including the one Kayla co-hosted prior (Canine Conversations). I’ve really enjoyed the comfortable and yet knowledgeable way Kayla and her guests chat about common issues that befall puppy owners. Feels like I have the privilege of just absorbing wisdom from experienced friends who’ve walked this path before me! Thank you so much for all the prep work that goes into this podcast— it’s truly appreciated from this aspiring dog parent!

    Love this podcast
This podcast provides some great insight especially for a first time puppy owners. The organization is great because there are small topics to focus on. I listen to this driving back-and-forth from work daily.I like the question and answer style and having different guess to add insight for various topics. Thank you for making this podcast! I'm wondering if you guys could tackle a podcast on socialization with other animals if there are other dogs cats horses chickens or other animals in the house. AlsoAnother idea for a topic would be this oneany tips and tricks on some advanced training and what you should do for a puppy if you are hoping that they can become a therapy dog or a service dog in the future?

    Great show
I am about to start training my first puppy. I’ve been hearing a lot about clicker training, could you cover that in an episode?
