Chef AbelAwesome Stories!!I’ve always been intrigued and interested in the Mob, from the Godfather movies to the actual five families to fall of Gotti, I purchased Sammie’s book when it first got released( which is amazing), but to here his story straight from the source in dramatic detail about the Castellano hit and to what made him turn on Gotti is truly amazing, keep up the good work Mr. Gravano, I’m truly a fan and cant wait to here more!

Scotthouston715Better than a movie. What a story. Unbelievable. Right from the man’s mouth. Insane.
-
GoldenBuddha1972Loved itApparently turning states witness about a narcissist psychopath like John Gotti who has no loyalty to anyone and loves no one but him self and has his “public” has plans to murder YOU then you can talk. Otherwise, take a seat ma’am.
-

Cobra fistSpaghettiNo Italian noodles are complete without red sauce and meatballs. Best served with friends, and not rats who roll on their friends.

Bbq rojoInspirationSammy you are a true inspiration to me. I grew up in a big catholic Italian family my mom raised me on here own and gave up a lot to make sure I did not do with out. Now that I’m a parent see why my mother was so over protective with me. Are world is a crazy place. In 2004 I lost my 2yr old daughter to cancer and 3 weeks later I lost my mom to cancer. Since then I feel like everyday is a struggle. But I keep pushing forward because I have a son and daughter and wife so I have no choice to keep pushing forward and this last year my marriage has been a roller coaster but ever time I hear you talk you show me no matter what happens you need to keep moving forward and don’t ever let anyone or anything be a road block. God bless you Sammy nothing but love for you.

hmunn13So EngagingAn employee for me tuned me in on to this podcast , just through first season into second season . Sammy is a great story teller of the real thing from his experience , it’s great to hear the real deal and not just watch Hollywood Cosa Nostra movies . Thanks for the education and openness Sammy !

1800BurnettstreetMidget murderrrWho would waste their time listening to some ancient midget cowardly murderer and drug dealer? He’s a punk who carried his Boss’ lunch pail and if this old man is not dead by now hopefully soon. What a waste of life
-

TDKastnerBrewCityMercer and DamianiGreat show I’m loving every minute of it, but I have to comment on what you had planned with Francisco Damiani and his fight with Ray Mercer, I don’t mean any disrespect but I fought as an amateur as well and come from a boxing family. I think I learned to read mostly from reading Bert Sugar as well as Ring Magazine… So I have to tell you, you all needed someone with some more knowledge of the sport at the time helping you out… anyone who thought Damiani would steamroll past Ray Mercer would have been out of their minds. The Italian Heavyweight championship isn’t exactly a major title worldwide, Ray Mercer was one of the best and most underrated heavyweights of the 90s… looking back I was shocked Damiani put up as good a fight as he did before getting his nose busted and knocked out. Yes Damiani was a world class heavyweight, but it would have been considered an upset for Mercer… an undefeated American Olympic gold medalist to lose to Damiani. The Damiani fight was considered a stepping stone for someone like Mercer. Mercer was the more marketable fighter… he and Riddick Bowe were widely considered to be the next major American heavyweights outside of Tyson and Holyfield.

schlenky1Truth winsIt’s amazing to have the truth! My family member was not full Italian but worked for the Cevella KC family. Now I know why at 13 I lost my Daddy. I also know it was John Gotti who brought down the Cosa Nostra. Whether u know it or not Sammy…: U did the world a favor!💖

Squishee73Underboss & StorytellerSammy is an incredible storyteller with an important story to tell. Sadly, the production in the last season is terrible, which is why I only gave a four star rating; otherwise, this podcast is superb. Thank you, Sammy, for sharing your experiences with us.
-
thiswillkillthatIncredible storytellerWow, Sammy is an incredible storyteller. Next level! He just has an innate ability to bring you in. I discovered this recently and sped through almost 3 seasons in a few days, I couldn’t get enough. It’s incredibly rare for a person to convey every detail, every emotion, every feeling, and capture that just through a voice. With an economy, and an almost minimalist approach, you are able to see, feel, and hear all of what Sammy has been through. Bravo Sammy, thank you for sharing all these incredible stories with such emotion laid bare.

StumpfootUsed to be good…I used to love this podcast. But now they are censoring Sammy. Bleeping out his F bombs. He’s a wise guy. You’re trying to make it family friendly? You’re ruining it. Also what is up with just cutting off the episodes in mid-sentence? Whoever took over production of this podcast has ruined it. The only reason I gave it three stars is because of Sammy. at this point it just feels like it’s a money graph for ad dollars.

Timbo..Missed the show..Hi Sammy, Just want to tell you how much I love the show..Really been missing not hearing you at least once a week..Question did you have any connection with the Detroit mob??? I have a friend and his Uncle is Freddy The Saint Salem, He ran the gambling in Detroit..
-
SixersFan4LifeJames Carroll masterpieceIncredible. I was always intrigued by mob shows, but you never heard the inner stories of the workings behind what happened. I can’t stop listening to his stories. Great production too.
-
WhatsupwiththisnicknameGreat MaterialI can’t stop listening to this, one episode after another. This was some life that he had. It’s like the life finds you, you just don’t set out on a career track. I watch all the typical movies, this is the real deal, and it’s very interesting. Too bad that it’s fraternity and standards deteriorated, I guess, it sure broke his heart, and that’s why he’s telling his story. Can’t say for sure, but I think his friends would probably understand. We have an old Italian immigrant community where I live, home of Joe Garagiola, and Yogi Berra. Great restaurants, groceries, and salumarias. These are great people, very hard working, religious, ethical, generous, and decent people. My hope is that anyone would not form discriminatory impressions of people of Italian descent, after digesting this information., it is what it is. Thanks for sharing your story, it is interesting in a major way , and I enjoy listening to it. Audio quality problem? Check your download and playback settings, check higher quality boxes. I’m listening in an industrial environment with one earphone in, set to mono audio, working good.

-
big guy7181Great jobI love hearing stories right from the person that lived it. Thanks for getting the truth out there. It’s great to hear how much some things bothered him and he has a conscious not just a crazed killer that didn’t have any feelings. Thanks for the awesome content.
-
Eric FerrariLots a bullshyt and fairytalesBut still entertaining.
-
Tim_ReedHorrible EditingI love this podcast, but it has the worse editing of any podcast I have ever listened to! The sound goes from a whisper to blaring. It’s almost like they spend no time putting the show together? How hard is it to get the sound at the same level throughout the entire episode?
-
Dweed9Same storiesGreat great beginning then started with 7-8-9 mins shows now goes weeks with out a show really falling off
-
birfhvc12Best podcast hands down!!I have tried many many podcasts and I am extremely picky about what I listen to. It is hard to grab my attention and keep it. This podcast is like watching a great movie or reading a good book. I love how Sammy Gravano tells his story and the way the podcasts are laid out. They flow together seamlessly and I don’t feel lost. All time favorite for me!

ColorSwitchIsSadOne of The Most Fascinating Pod Cast on AppleI have been in Law-enforcement in my first part of my career. We studied a lot of the early cases of the economics on how different secret societies and criminal organizations finance themselves. I have read the Gotti books that pertained to the case and I am absolutely mind blown at how Mr. Gravano breaks down the everyday operations of La Cosa Nostra. One of the best descriptive story telling I have listened to since reading Mark Twain.! Moving forward we would like to hear about the Philadelphia connection to the Gardner Museum Heist in Boston if you have any information. We also would like for you to talk about modern day economics of starting business and maybe how the modern day money laundering is taking a toll on legitimate business owners trying to get a foot hold in this the country.
-
Leslie5373I never review things but…..This is amazing. Such a great story teller. I’ve actually never listened to all the episodes in a podcast before until now! And I am sad that I have to wait for more! Listen to it and you will be hooked.
