bellasgamingstuffGreat resource for aspiring BCBAs, RBTs, SLPs and SLPAs!Wow! I was referred by Rose to the first episode of her podcast after reaching out. As an RBT and SLPA this podcast will be a fantastic resource for continuing education for me, and already gave straight-to-the-point, valuable information by the first episode. Great job Rose— you are truly an inspiration!

WPVanUnicorn? There are many things, like certain diseases, that are rare but that does not make them “unicorns.” Perhaps the reason SLP/BCBAs are rare is because so few would compromise themselves in such a way.

am2987373Informative, valuable, and thoughtfulRose does an excellent job with this podcast. As a mom of a toddler who struggles slightly with communication, I found this podcast so helpful! There are so many tips on how to engage effectively with those on the spectrum and both my husband and I have found these useful! We also enjoy listening to her other podcasts even if they don’t specifically apply to our son! Rose covers so many topics, and it’s been so much fun learning new things about autism from her and her guests. Highly recommend listening!!

AnnOslpHow to Help Students with Apraxia of SpeechI’ll be honest saying initially my main motivation to listen to this podcast was to get a free asha course. I’ve heard Dr. Strand speak a couple of times & didn’t think I’d learn anything new. I missed the deadline to be eligible for the free course but thought I’d listen anyways just to refresh my memory on apraxia. I was so glad I did because it was wonderful!! Episode one was brief but packed with lots of tidbits of important information, some of which I didn’t realize! One of the most amazing takeaways for me was when Dr. Strand talked about how she wasn’t strong in neuro based disorders when she first started out & some days would drive home from work in tears. What?!?! The amazing Dr. Strand once felt like me?! It was so helpful to hear that even just listening to this podcast is a step in the right direction to feeling more confident working with apraxia. I will be listening to episode 2 & tuning into all of the other podcasts too!
-
TML-slpDr Strand part 2WOW!! What a wealth of knowledge & resources. It gave me pause to think about what she shared. Trying to determine whether a kid has just an articulation issue or if it is apraxia is difficult. Her tips were very informative.
