JimbosliceshowGreat Resource for CoachesBackground on me before writing this review…I’ve coached track & field at the high school and university level in Louisville, KY for 8 years and have attained my USATF Level 2 in sprints. That being said, Ryan does a great job of getting a diverse assortment of guests that provide a wide range of information in an accessible way. I also own his book and highly recommend that.

waffleirongymTons of insightsEasily one of the best podcasts out there. Each week there’s a great guest and tons of great insights. Ryan takes the time in the shorter Thursday thoughts to get points across that are must listens about problems, concepts and general tips for athletes, coaches, and just people trying to be a little better each day.

UtmrunnerHighly RecommendRyan is very knowledgeable of the sport of track and field and is very willing to share that knowledge. The team I coach will compete against his on a very regular basis, but that has never stopped him from answering any question I have ever asked about track and field even if doing so would make my team better. He is fully committed to helping all coaches become better. I learn a lot with even a short conversation with him and I would highly recommend his podcast.

BemuseddddddHighly recommended for any track and field coachRyan Banta is likely one of the most knowledgeable and thoughtful coaches in athletics today. Humble, as egoless as any high level coach out there, Ryan is also takes the modern view that coaches develop other coaches and share knowledge. This is refreshing in a sport that for too long had coaches who “had a secret.”
