In the beginning.. there was grunge
These dudes love grunge. If you love grunge, you will love these dudes. They manage to always keep it fresh which is impressive considering grunge ended last century. Truly takes not only a love of music, but a deep appreciation of artistry. Chris, Ethan, you rock 🤘🏼(also shout out a fellow Rhody!)

Traveling back to the best days!
Had to express how grateful I am to Chris, Ethan and Drew for the Grunge Bible podcast. I stumbled upon it about a month ago amd I’ve already made my way through episode 40. Chris and Ethan’s discussions are engaging and I love the energy and camaraderie they bring to each episode. The conversations and interviews evoke laughter and reflection, transporting me back to the best years - the 90s-while celebrating the music that continues to resonate with me today. Thank you for your dedication and passion—please keep up the fantastic work!

Fell on Black Days? Here's a Pickup
As someone who was a teenager in the early 90s when grunge make its impact, it puts a smile on my face knowing there are people who weren't around at that time who enjoy and appreciate that genre and era. The hosts musical knowlege goes beyond grunge as well. Great banter between the hosts with some occasional life philosphy thrown in as well. Keep up the great work!

    Loving it.
I don’t know how I missed this pod the last few years, but I am loving it. It warms my heart to hear how much grunge is still loved. This podcast is an easy and fun listen at the gym, while driving or even when I’m doing my chicken coop cleans! 🖤

    Grunge isn’t Dead
I’m 41 & was a total 90s Grunge kid. I’d “borrow” my dad’s work flannels & tie them around my baggy jeans and go off to school. I had a poster of Kurt Cobain on my wall. Anyway Grunge was more than music, it was an entire movement. I’ve always been a little overprotective of it, probably because so many of those songs saved my life. Anyway, I’m glad to see the next generation talking about it & keeping it alive. You guys may not have been alive then, but you get it. I originally found you on Instagram & I felt like the bumble bee at the end of “No Rain” video. Thanks for keeping Grunge alive & well! 🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼

    sense of community
as someone in their early 20s without many friends who listen to grunge/rock music, grunge bible fills the gap with lovely conversation that makes me feel less alone. love it!
  • Big up big up
    Wikipedia reading
Some good info, unfortunately neither of the hosts were actually cognizant during the grunge era, so all they can do is read off Wikipedia and give millennial opinions after the fact After hearing the hatred for Gn’R, I had to tap out.

    Into the flood again…
Love this show. I lived through the grunge era and I am happy that a younger generation is finding joy in discovering this music! Keep up the great work and may you find your way to MOPOP someday to worship at the guitars of the grunge gods.

    Why listen?
If you want to know why you should listen to a couple of guys who were “dead at the time, “ talk about this wonderful music from the early 90’s jump straight to episode 38 with Eric Leiderman. One of the most enjoyable podcasts I’ve ever listened to. Can’t wait until he is back. Also be sure to watch on YouTube. Just a great time!

Food for the 45-year old soul
These guys take me back to the raw first listens of some great songs from great bands, and they do it from the perspective of athletes in their mid 20s. I have boots older than these two, but they bring a freshness to my favorite era of music, referencing shows and performances I could have never seen (broke farm kid hundreds of miles from a venue that would have played this music). It is great to relive this music with the commentary of Chris and Ethan. Keep it up!

Days of the New were 16-17 years old when they wrote their first album. Travis Meeks is a musical savant.

The only reason for this review.
I’m leaving this review solely because you blast Would? in thousands of people’s faces each morning. 5 of 5 stars and I wish Mazzy was one of em. 9 out of 10 kids prefer the Grunge Bible Podcast to guns. I feel the pain of everyone, and then I listen to the Grunge Bible Podcast. When my Mom and Dad drop me off at Grandpa Joe’s, I tell Grandma to play the Grunge Bible Podcast. Chris Celona is literally the Man in the Box known as the smartphone in my hand. People will be staring at me in a Jesus Christ pose because I won’t stop blasting the Grunge Bible Podcast. Listen to the Grunge Bible Podcast.
