    Love from an American
When I found Alan Davies on QI, I had to find more. I just listened to the Pat Nevin one; I had saved it for last since I don’t know a thing about football. It was the best one! I also enjoyed the Jo Brand interview and did not get offended by her views about Hollywood as her reasons are very fair.

    Jo Brand. Still a Bother
Well, here I am quite a while after having listened to the Jo Brand episode that I caught on June 22 and with another comment. I am still annoyed at Jo Brand for her childish goings on with regard to how everything American is awful. I hope that I get over it but to listen to her childish comments really soured her wit, insight and generous self-deprecating humor that I have always enjoyed and admired her for. I am having difficulty feeling and thinking of her in the same way that I always have. I guess if she fessed up to what brought all of the very generalized anti-American comments on it would be easier for me to understand. Knowing who or what brought about her anger might help me understand it all a bit better. The thought that anyone could do anything to her to create this, basically, whiny tirade against America and Americans is difficult to imagine. I just don't see Ms. Brand lashing out at an entire society. I am disappointed that someone could get under her wonderfully insightful and sharp intellect to cause this presentation. It has exposed a weakness in Jo Brand that I never expected to encounter. Its personal and irresponsible on her part.
