    Informative but sometimes exclusive
I used to love this podcast! I’ve listed to over 100 episodes. The last few episodes have had high income earners with a lot of wealth and privilege. I would like to hear more content that would be helpful for singles. The new theme music is distracting and over powering. I like it when Ramit incorporates social, cultural, or gender societal pressures into explaining financial decision making. The financial advice seems simple, consistent, and evidence based. I like it when Ramit is validating people who make financial mistakes and his ability to bring in humanity and emotions into financial advice.

    Love the podcast!
I love this podcast. As a teenage listener who cannot ask questions or apply for the podcast obviously, I would love an episode about how to set yourself up for the future from a young age (ie. from your first job or during college). I read some of the book, but very little of it was applicable to me as an unemployed high schooler. I have had some issues where I stopped getting emails from the podcast newsletter and blogs despite reinserting my email into the signup, and may have to email support (I assume this is because they require you put in your email for each free thing you sign up for on the website and I “signed up too many times”) but the podcast itself is my favorite. Thanks so much Ramit!

    More than about just money
I’ve listened to over 100 episodes. Ramit has the counseling skills of a skilled therapist. As a married woman in my thirties who is also a physician, I have not only learned so much about finances, I’ve learned about couples’ communication, and different viewpoints of the world. I see a lot of parallels with patients’ Adverse Childhood Events (ACEs), behavior around nutrition, exercise, and other social boundaries. This show motivated me to make my own CPS and that was eye opening too. I think much more about architecting my rich life. I have of course purchased Ramit’s book and passed it along. This is a glowing review, but that’s because I stumbled on the amazing value of this podcast. Thank you.

Ramit blocked me because I like trump
I was a follower and listener a very long time, when I commented on his insta post (mind you I said absolutely nothing wrong) he blocked me for no good reason. Therefore he his a sensitive liberal who can’t take the heat when someone speaks their mind.

    Can’t relate anymore
I’ve read Ramit’s book and enjoyed his Netflix series and learned a lot. When I began listening to his podcast, I looked forward to it every week. Lately though, it seems that every couple Ramit interviews are young millionaires nervous about retirement. It is not something I want to listen to over and over again.

    Day One Listener
Love Ramit, love the show. Recent intro music is a little tense- would love to reel it back to something a little more neutral. This last episode felt like I was gearing up for a haunted rave. Xoxo

    LOVE this podcast
I absolutely love this podcast. I read Ramit’s first book, watched his show on Netflix, and really enjoyed both. I just started listening to podcast on my daily walks, and found his podcast. I really enjoy it. I think he found his niche here with couples. It feel strongly that is is crucial for couples to get on the same page with financial matters. Each episode is informative and interesting. I am absolutely fascinated listening to each couple’s story. I like how he is not judgey and meets each couple where they are. I know sometimes the numbers are outrageous and not relatable, but when you get to the core of the matter that needs work….take away the number and it is relatable to most people or someone you know. The live shows are fun to listen to as well. He makes a pretty dull subject (finances) relatable and fun. I have learned a lot. I look forward to each episode dropping.

    Super insightful
Love this podcast but WOW so many of these couples need to get divorced ASAP

    My take…
If you can make it through the screaming and cursing, by Ramit it’s ok. Liked his book much better.

    Refreshing take on personal finance
I love hearing all the psychology behind each couples personal finance. It's really helped me rethink and reshape how I see money with my husband. Thank you for this great content

Great example of how to talk through money!
This show has helped me discuss our finances with my spouse! By listening to other’s discussions, we’re able to comment on how we’d handle that situation. The show has increased my spouse’s interest in building our rich life and talking through what adjustments we need to make in our daily life.

Episode 129 is GREAT!!! As is the whole program!!!
Update on new Money for Couples format. Still love the show. Looking forward to the new book, but please, please stop beeping the cuss words. We are adults. I can’t stand the beeps and sometimes I can’t even tell what’s being said with the beeping. Thanks! ———— Ramit, I rarely cry, but the emotions of Episode 129 really got to me. Getting that couple to speak as a team concerning their finances, the way they work together on parenting and other aspects of their relationship, was so moving! I’m sure for people who don’t watch or listen to your show regularly, this review won’t make sense. I have never read, seen, or heard a financial advisor approach finances from a psychological angle. The psychology of money, and our relationships to it is so fascinating. I really appreciate your approach in this way, which, as I said, is different than anyone else’s approach I have ever encountered. Thank you so much for all your advice with all of the people that you work with, and a sincere thank you to all of the people who have come on your program and been 100% transparent, honest, analytical, and completely mature about sharing all of the aspects of their financial life. I think I’ve learned something from every guest you’ve spoken to, so I want them all to know I am grateful for their generosity with their private information. Keep up the great work. I look forward to every episode.

Money for Couples - Money for Everybody
Money for Couples is great for people who aim to do better with their finances. Usually around 1 hour, it’s a great podcast to throw on while I’m on a walk or doing chores. Ramit does a great job of bringing diverse couples into the show and getting to the heart of where there money minds are coming from. It has really made me more aware of why I make the financial decisions I do. I’m not rich, but I hope to be soon, partially thanks to the weekly reminders that I’m not alone in this financial struggle of life.

    Better than the Netflix show
Ramit is the best. Digestible approach to finance that allows everyone to enjoy.

Great Podcast - Bad Name change
I didn’t find the Netflix show particularly great, but somehow found my way to the podcast, which is Great! So relatable for so many situations. However the name change has prompted anger. The approach and topics range far beyond just couples. This feels like a ploy to just sell his new book. Doing so has ostracized a significant segment of followers. Also, he needs to learn about and start including focus on long-term care costs, especially as less and less people have pensions.

    Awesome podcast
Nice to listen to every day people and knowing so many people share common struggles with finances. I would love it if the episode numbers were included in the show titles on podcast and you tube.

    Fantastic podcast!!
I became a HUGE Ramit fan after watching his Netflix special. He is so straightforward, honest, & helpful. He’s also pretty freakin funny! I love talking and learning about money and learn so much from him each episode. This is a great podcast and I highly recommend tuning in!!!

    Old version please!
Please bring the simple unedited zoom call version! Not feeling this MTV reality show style

    Mixed feelings
I like a lot about this show. Some of the tips he gives are good, but it’s tiresome listening to the woes of people who make $300,000 and somehow can’t manage. It also cracks me up about how he touts so much stuff to buy and services to subscribe to and then berates people for doing the same.
  • tomhiggle
    Clear, concise, and legit
I’ve listened to a ton of finance “gurus” This show is legit and I feel like I’m hearing actual advice from actual wisdom Great show

    Was a 5, now a 4
Who is producing this now? What’s with the “swipey” sound effects and weird intro music? We had great storylines before. Now a swipey sound effect comes through and literally wipes out the story being built.

    Very good
Ramit had helped me automate my spending and teach me how to build my rich life by listening to his podcast and reading his book
  • Plucky442000
    Completely out of touch
Ramit is so out of touch with real world issues it’s impossible for him to give advice. He is an elitist giving advice to people who are either totally clueless or rich themselves. His advice is impractical and it’s been getting slowly worse. He is unlikeable and unrelateable.

Definitely a Top Listen for Me.
I do love this podcast. I enjoy Remit’s no-nonsense way of putting things straight to the guests, and I have found a lot of the content really relatable. Between the book(s), the show, and this podcast, I have really learned a lot about how to utilize money as a tool, and how to really envision what I want as my Rich Life. That being said, I kind of wish the show did not only cater to married or engaged couples. I don’t think that the book does. I am in a long-term relationship personally and as far as the general information goes, I have found it immensely helpful for my own (legally) single rich life. But a lot of the financial stuff when it comes to being legally married just doesn’t really apply to me (yet at least). And on top of that I am a single mom of a kid who is off to college soon. Essentially, the same protections in a marriage just aren’t there for me in my life situation and I sometimes want to hear from people who are going through exactly that. I do find the basic information to be helpful to me though. I just wish that he would talk to more people in different financial situations and different life situations so it is a little more well-rounded.

We need more than one episode per week
    As the review says….

    Ok
Ramit seems to be continually working on his likeability factor. At times he thinks he’s funnier than he really is. I think he has a tendency to unknowingly insult a large portion of his listening audience, which appears derived from his elitist coastal background.

    Life Changing Honesty
Ramit is a no-nonsense financial pro with more empathy and social understanding than most people. The Netflix show piqued my interest and I was happy to find the podcast for more advice, wisdom and examples of humans trying to figure life out. Thank you for your amazing patience and kindness Ramit. Sometimes its tough love that surprises the guest and me when we are missing the root of the problem but Mr. Sethi is like a surgeon willing to meet anyone where they’re at and help them on to a better path. This podcast may make you angry or sad or happy or excited, but mostly it’s a great example of kindness and empathy and I’m so excited to listen and learn something new each week.

    MY FAVORITE PODCAST!
I absolutely love Ramit’s “I Will Teach You To Be Rich” podcast - it is my favorite podcast out there. I find it fascinating and educational. I also love the tidbits that Ramit shares related to human nature/psychology, common behavioral patterns as it relates to money, etc. I quote different pieces of Ramit’s rich life advice on a weekly basis to my family and friends (in the right setting, of course!) because I resonate with them so much. It’s amazing that we get to listen in to these historically “closed-door” money conversations by couples. Thanks Ramit and keep them coming!

    Episode 169 ☹️= ughhhh
It has become painful to listen to the episodes. As another reviewer mentioned, it’s either people who are clueless and irresponsible with money or very wealthy people who just like to complain and want to weirdly flex their wealth. This most recent episode 169 with Annie and Emery is the latter. She makes a lot of money while he takes care of the kids and the rental properties while running his business, but “only” brings in less than 30k. She complains she wants him to make more money (at least 100k). Even though they are already millionaires. 😑 If the gender roles were reversed, this complaint would not be acceptable. Perhaps she should pay him for taking care of the children and tending to the rental properties so she can see the value of his contributes. Also, “the way we feel about money is highly uncorrelated to what we have in the bank” is illogical.

Junk reality TV for the ears
This podcast has just become a repetitive junk tv drama that I laugh at my wife for watching. She actually called me out that this podcast is the same and we had a good laugh about it. I haven’t stopped thinking about it as I listen to every episode. At least the tv dramas have a closing or leave you with some hanger for the next one. It’s always the same story, either people that are idiots with their money and never make any change or people with too much money who are afraid to spend and need validation from someone. Adding the dramatic sound effects and production lately is not helping. I’ll listen to pick up a thing here or there but definitely not worth listening anymore.

    Living my American dream
Being an immigrant I was trying to figure out how to live my American Dream. Been working so many hours to save and help my family to live a better life. I think to myself is this the dream I'm looking for to save and work? Listening to Ramit I finally figured out how to live a rich life. I have finally found the American dream I've been searching for. I have finally changed the way I look at money. Special request can you do a reunion with the couples on your past podcast to see how they progress

    Love the podcast
Love this podcast! I listen every Tuesday. The YouTube is better in my opinion because of the body language. Ramit sethi’s podcast helped me understand finances and my own personal rationalizations which kept me in debt. I now have a plan to be debt free and save for the future.

    Love this podcast!
I really enjoy listening to Ramit’s podcast - I always learn something new and it reinforces the focus on balancing the numbers while living YOUR rich life. Definitely listen to this - you won’t be disappointed!

    Great money podcast
I really enjoy this podcast which is surprising bc I thought the subject would be dry. Ramit has a great way with people and drawing them out. I’ve learned a lot listening to him and it’s all very understandable even if you don’t know much about money.

A lot of rich people wringing their hands over money
I love Ramit’s philosophy and advice, but I’m in all likelihood never going to be able to clear insanely huge salaries like those of pretty much all of his recent guests. Despite what Ramit says, the concepts and strategies and thought processes that apply to that level of wealth are quite simply never going to apply to me. Can we have some more “normal” people back on the show? Skipping this pod until then.

    Can't relate
I guess I'm too poor to relate to this podcast anymore. I had been following since January, but feel I can't relate to the wealthy individuals you interview. The latest episode really sucked the motivation out of me that I might ever create a rich life. Usually I can copy paste snippets of your episodes to apply in my own life, but now, I think I can't relate anymore. I feel defeated...

    I’m a fan!
I found Ramit through his Netflix show and have been a devoted podcast listener since then. This is one of the few podcasts that my husband and I both listen to and talk about weekly. Lots of practical advice, empathetic, kind and funny. We want to be Ramit’s friend! More live shows and I’d love another Netflix season, please!

    Highlight of my week
I look forward to the podcast every week. Love the respect Ramit shows his guests from all walks of life and the actionable advice he provides. Every week I’m prompted to confront one of my own money beliefs to hopefully be an even better money role model for my kids.

This is what I needed while going through divorce
I am almost divorced and never lived alone or handled my own finances. I did pay all the bills during my 34 years of marriage. Thankfully o am debt free but I am scared of mishandling my own money and finding your show on YouTube has given me hope. I need to now develop my spending plan. I know what my rich life looks like but need to dig deeper into my spending. I’m trying to figure out if I want to use my house profit to buy another property right out before I retire in 15 years. I feel better and know I can do this thanks to Ramir. I know have the book and the journal to develop my plan and live my rich life.

    My favorite podcast for years
Every Tuesday morning I get excited for the next one. I’ve shared it with probably 50 people and everyone finds it fascinating. The advice and approach is valuable for most financial situations. I had a similar financial philosophy before encountering Ramit’s work, but I made it more complicated than it needed to be. His advice has helped me simplify my spreadsheets and developing my own money rules has helped me handle new situations in alignment with my vision. Thanks Ramit & the IWT team!

    One of my faves!
This is a super interesting podcast and Ramit is hilarious - all while providing some great advice I use in my own life. A glimpse into so many couple’s lives is truly fascinating. Keep it coming, please!

    Thank you Ramit!
I love the fact that you’re not judgmental of the people who come on your show. You’re brilliant.

    I listen religiously
I’ve listened to every episode. Ramit, just listening to your podcast regularly (paired with your conscious spending plan, and beginning the book) with my husband has helped us navigate the conversation around money in a healthy way, where it was previously very tense. It’s also indirectly helped us approach conflict in our relationship better, with better phrases, just because of the rub off of your own emotional intelligence. I tell all my friends to listen. Thank you so much

    Real Life
I have learned so much from these stories. It does not matter how much you have in your bank account, you must have a healthy relationship with money. Ramit is both kind and firm with his guests. It’s like weekly therapy.

    Can’t get enough of Ramit!
I have been listening to this Ramit’s podcast, his audiobook and watched the Netflix series several times. I always learn something new and tell many others to listen. I empathize with the struggles of these couples and appreciate Ramit’s supportive but firm approach. Ramit is not only a teacher; he is a storyteller. How he navigates these touchy money conversations between couples is amazing. I wish this podcast was around when I was in my 20s. I hope he comes in our area soon so we can see these live interviews in person.

    Waaaay too many ads
I love this podcast but it’s incredibly frustrating how many “short breaks” there are of ads after ads. I totally understand he needs to monetize this podcast, but it’s beyond excessive. Such a bummer because I really enjoy listening to this podcast otherwise, I think Ramit has great money advice and I love hearing the money life of couples. But come on, Ramit!

    The Best!
So good. Just give a listen. The show focuses on couples - I’m single and I listen all the time and still learn a lot about money AND relationship dynamics.

    One of a kind
Money, psychology, raw emotions with a cup of wisdom. This podcast is truly one of a kind! I take away a pearl or philosophical point from each episode. It’s broken barriers I’ve previously had in thinking of and discussing money. I truly recommend it to all.

Wish I had known about Ramit earlier
I am now within 6 years of retiring at the age of 60 God willing. Since I watched Ramit's Netflix special I have changed my spending & am working towards having a Rich Life experience, spending time with my family and enjoying them while I am able to. I worked real hard for the past 50+ years, took care of my parents until they passed, now it's my turn. Thank you Ramit!
