baryonicminorityThe “pope” of Inverness Yacht ClubGreat fun listening to the episode with Milly Biller about sailing and living all over the world, the community she’s built at Inverness Yacht Club, and sailing through a monarch butterfly migration in Mexico. A blast!

CheapsuitGGreat podcast for sailing.Just introduced but I’m binging all of the episodes! Not a west coast sailor but still great to hear the stories and tips, both entertainment and education.

SV OUTATIMEGood JibesI am full blown hooked! I find myself looking forward to crawling into my V-berth and listening to each episode at the end my day. Episode 1 is quite informative and welcoming. Nicki Bennett does a great job of getting the listener enthused. I highly recommend Good Jibes to new sailor and to the salty sailors. SV OUTATIME

Michaelok!Sailing TeachingsI think I’ve listened to every interview there is with Brady and Alex, but I learned even more with this entertaining and interesting interview by Nikki. What an inspiring and hard-working couple, I loved hearing about their different approach to life.

Artdujour.orgWithout the starpower of Latitude 38….As a sailor hanging on the hook between delivery gigs I find the idea compelling however having your accountant/owner interview is maybe not the best foot forward? Bring back Richard… he was the personality of the founding mag.. he’s be awesome… one more “good grief” and a stepped on sentence makes for a water opportunity

GretGood convosI really enjoy these conversations and like that you mix up the hosts (Nikki is awesome!). However, I’ve noticed something that may not be a conscious choice, but strikes me as odd. You’ve only had a man interview a woman or a woman interview a man in 3 out of 21 episodes. It feels like you are making an implicit statement that women (in the interviewer role) can’t talk to men about sailing. That’s not great.

Clayton-RGreat west coast podcastJust spent 2 days at work binge listening. Great west coast sailing podcast. Love to hear stories about areas I go and those I plan to go to. Thanks for this.

Sunny57078Bland readings of written articles don’t make spectacular podcasts. The most interesting podcasts are conversations between people with chemistry, not someone flatly reading verbatim someone else’s stories. With a little effort and insight this has the potential to be something special, but this delivery falls flat. Such a disappointment!

chazboxchopsLatitude in your earsI’m a longtime reader of Latitude, but I don’t always have time to read the stories in depth. Good Jibes genuinely has the same vibe as the magazine – but it’s available in my ear, when I drive, bike, or sail. Bay Area sailing just got a little more accessible.

R FolandFinally, a podcast about sailing!I love to sail, and I’ve always been bummed that there are not sailing podcasts that have interested me. This seems to be different. I listened to the first three episodes, and I am hooked. I’ve been a big fan of Latitude 38 magazine, and I’m so excited that they are now going to be sharing interview with sailors. It’s nice to read stories, but it is so much cooler to hear a real conversation. I can’t wait to share this with my sailing, and my non-sailing friends! And, I can now listen to sailing stories when I am on the freeway. It’s a good way to get out on the ocean while being on land.

Max BrandingThe best jibes!Every episode is like a mini cruise on your favorite sailboat, taking you away into the open water. Big fan of Latitude 38 - the best sailing mag out there! So glad they launched this awesome podcast. You’ll love it
