IMO, True Scary Story is just as good as Spooked. Real spooky stories from real people. GREAT production. I am addicted to this podcast and I get so happy when I see a new episode has dropped. I also subscribed for $34.99/year which is TOTALLY worth every single penny for this caliber of entertainment. Keep it up, Edwin!!💪🏽👻💪🏽

This is a really awesome podcast.

I wish there was one everyday ! I sometimes re-watch old episodes! This gets me through work life and I personally think it keeps you thinking I always go and research after listening to something I’ve never heard before. I definitely love that our culture is always well represented in this podcast !

I love everything about this podcast. The small intro, and the actual story from the person and not the host. I love it!!

What I love most is hearing stories from all different cultures, ethnicities, ages, economic status, locations, backgrounds, and family dynamics. I think it’s cool that all these stories give a glimpse into how different people have such different responses/beliefs to paranormal experiences. The stories are decently creepy- goosebumps but not scary to me (but i listen to A LOT of horror podcasts) These stories might seem less intense because it’s not someone detailing one specific experience; the focus is on one person who is telling various paranormal experiences throughout their life. That also means the stories and storyteller sound significantly more realistic. I would absolutely recommend!

Love this podcast! Love the real emotion in everyone’s voices as they retell their scary moments 😱 I want to know which episode it was, it ended with someone was sleeping in the basement and they kept seeing the moonlight thru the window flashing and then realizing it was the movement of swinging legs. I thought it was “Not my Mom?”

I LOVE this podcast, and honestly, all of Edwin’s podcasts. But this is my favorite! From the first musical note that makes me shiver to the clever intros and first-hand accounts, it’s what I look forward to each week and it has made me love my commute! I loved the roadside saloon episode. I’d heard that same story on the spooked podcast. The story was told by Ti. It was definitely spooky! That’s why I’ll never stop at just any old place when on a night trip.

This is such a wonderful podcast, the sound effects are cool and the music is spot-on.

I’ve listened to almost every episode in less than a couple of weeks. Love all the stories and storytellers.

Hi, your podcast is amazing. I truly do enjoy listening to it however I have one or two gripes. I don’t speak Spanish, so when some storytellers speak in both languages within the same sentence I get lost and I feel like I’m lost or missed something. It would be nice to edit (?) and have the English version of the word so I will know who/what the storyteller is referring to. My biggest complaint: the xylophone at the beginning, if you’re listening with earbuds, is an extremely loud pitch and pierces the ears. It also sounds like my iPhone text ping so I’m constantly thinking I got a new text when I didn’t (LOL). Sorry to grumble on such a terrific show. I look forward to your new episodes!

First of all you get more story’s about other people besides Mexican people ok.

I think everyone who shares their stories are very brave i know it’s hard because your afraid that people will think you’re lying or crazy but i still am not convinced that the paranormal is true but i know that if you’re scared something’s going on be strong be brave and stay faithful to god because he loves you and will protect you

Good podcast, great host but he’s got to get other people telling these stories too. Every single one is told by someone of Spanish decent, which is cool an all but it makes it seem that it doesn’t happen to anyone else

Does anyone else listen to this with friends and when one of the twists come around you and all your friends just gasp and look at one another with genuine fear? Although one of the episodes gave me nightmares. But that’s fine…right?

Great show but the background music makes listening to the show difficult. It don’t help make the stories better….it merely is distracting.

Whenever life feels totally boring and there’s nothing for me to do besides watch old DVDs this is the perfect podcast to listen to. It gives me chills and gives me the creepy feeling that I love to get when listening to creepy stories. This is definitely my favorite creepy podcast and I will listen to it probably until I am like 1000 years old😂😂😂

It is no small feat to produce as much content as you do and I always find something to enjoy. Happy to see you won’t be stopping anytime soon!

Good story’s but they are only about ghosts

I absolutely love this show but PLEASE fix the sound quality. Some of the more recent episodes have been extremely difficult to even hear what they’re saying. The voice sounds distorted or it sounds so low I feel like I need subtitles to be able to listen because I can’t hear no matter how loud I put it. Please fix the audio and the show will be perfect!

I liked this podcast better in the earlier days. Now I find that many of the stories are poorly narrated, the sound quality (or editing? Can’t tell) is choppy, it’s not as pleasant to listen to.
