There are so many Yellowjackets podcasts and this one is not it. These people seem to not even like each other (or the show for that matter). I’d suggest you just skip it altogether.

For the most part this is a funny and engaging podcast until Cory starts talking. He's rude, passive aggressive, clueless, sexist and constantly talking crap while also talking over people. This show would be five stars without his annoying personality. I don't understand why he's friends with anyone on this podcast. He has no respect at all for anyone but his own annoying voice.

First off, love the Jersey vibe. I find your voices very relaxing. When listening to your Storytelling podcast, I wonder why Lisa didn’t tell the police Misty killed Nat unless someone threatened her, but like a lot of current episodes, we don’t see that. I would think since she saw Nat get sober, she wouldn’t want Nat to be seen as a drug addict in death. I literally didn’t get Walter’s plan for killing Kevyn, who has a kid over Matt who romanced a 16 year old. If Walter can frame a cop so easy, I would think he would know about the this. “Phone records and bank transactions” is what we are supposed to accept. Plus, you are right, a mayor elect is also at Lottie’s. How far do I suspend my belief? The coach is such a passive pathetic character too that suddenly turns and burns the cabin. After he asks Misty to kill him? Ugh. Anyway, fun podcast. Glad one of you confused the others about the movie Titanic.

The podcast is okay, but I don’t understand why these people are making a podcast together. They seem to not like each other in any way. They say rude things to each other, and if they’re kidding, you really can’t tell.

I’m a new listener, having only started because season two of the show made me realize there probably were recap pods to be found. I listened to about half of the season one recap episodes to prep for season two. It’s… fine? I hate to say this, but I really can’t stand the hosts’ accents, and they talk very slowly, both of which sometimes make it unlistenable for me. The hosts also just seem kinda boring? And like they maybe don’t like one another? There’s just not a lot of banter or passion or laughter there. I like their theories about the show, but I just don’t love listening to the way it all plays out.

This is the first Yellow Jackets podcast I was able to find and I loved it right off the bat. The hosts are all from New Jersey I think so they have the charming accents and the show is set in New Jersey so that’s great. The hosts are just hilarious its like you are hanging out with friends discussing this really crazy show. I’ve tried other Yellow Jackets podcasts and they just don’t compare. To be honest they are all pretty boring. Keep up the good work!! I love it!! Renee

I found this podcast while looking for a yellow jackets recap show and I really enjoy it. I don’t get all the hate for Corey because I think he is super funny and I love his quips and sarcasm throughout. I also think Rachel is very insightful and I enjoy her commentary. I wish there was not a main host and that they just shared the space, but other than that it’s great! I am not really interested in single drunk female but I’m hoping they do more psychological thriller recaps in the future. I would love to hear them recap “the wilds” before season two starts!

I’m finding it repetitive when they cite a section of dialogue in detail & then they take the time to play a clip from the show that says everything that they just discussed.The podcast would be more streamlined they chose one or the other.

Love the podcast. Great insight and humor! Would definitely recommend everyone check it out.

Not sure what kind of shows yal like but I’m almost finished with station eleven on hbo max and have really enjoyed it..thanks for doing this and to the people that don’t like it Go find some friends( if you have any) and do your own podcast!! Better Podcasts covering the show out there.

First of all, Corey is the satirical break in the introspective look and theories of the other hosts. He also has solid counterpoints to the theories, which resonant with me. Examples: when everyone is hating on Jeff (great name) he talks about his positive qualities (proved right in epi 9). My most critical review is for the host, if you’re the only laughing at your quips you they aren’t quite hitting. That said, she does a great job of moving the synopsis along and adding ideas for others to disagree or build off. First I found of this show I heart, I love all people except for Lotti, she can get off her high horse and use her telepathic powers to help more than just herself gaining power. Stay up Corey

Hi Everyone, I'm really enjoying the Podcast. It seems like a fun group and I enjot listening to everyone. Yes, even CorEY. I hear the criticism, but to me, I get the schtick, so it doesn't bother me. That being said, I don't always agree with his show opinions. His opinion may have changed, but, him and too many people are still discounting the Paranormal Aspect to this show, which I don't see how that is possible at this point. Some examples. Lotte clearly has some ability, which was demonstrated when she screamed before the car accident as a kid. One thing many people missed is her screaming when the window opened during the seance. If you watch it again, she turned, screamed and "Then" the window opened (Knowing it was about to happen). Also during the seance, when everyone asked "What does it want"? She grabbed Shauna's arm and said 'It's already in you". Meaning the Baby or Life in general. When Lotte saw the deer shedding it's horns, Van came over and asked if everything was okay, she looked at Van and they both looked to where the deer was, but it was gone. She looked back at Van and said "yes, I'm fine", but when Van walked away, Lotte looked back again and the deer reappeared in the exact same position. As if it never moved. So it was scared off by Van approaching. Because it wasn't there. I'm thinking this Paranormal aspect may be made clear by the time the last episode airs and you get to this comment (If at all). Also, while Jeff is not the cheating villian he was clearly made out to be (Lot's or Red Herrings in this show). I would still have a very difficult time explaining to my wife that I tried to blackmail some of her friends. Even with a good intent in mind. That's a pretty villianous thing to do, which could have gotten people killed. And unless my wife just happened to murder someone around the same time, I think I would be in the Doghouse. Jeff - Not a great guy! Final Thought - EP2 I Believe when they go to the Lake, on the way they see a dead bear. The girls ask what could do that, the Coach says wolves. "If the pack is big enough they can kill anything. I couldn't help but think of that comment when the girls heard the wolves howl and started howling back. They have turned into a pack a wolves and are now ready to start taking down prey.

I discovered this show because it was the only Yellowjackets podcast in existence. And to my understanding, it’s an offshoot of an already established podcast(?). I’ve listened to all episodes of this one, and continue to do so because I enjoy the thoroughness and different perspectives. But I know there have been listener complaints about Cory, and I can understand why. I’m guessing the fanbase of their original podcast is a much different type of audience. Yellowjackets has a strong queer female following, myself included. And Cory (straight white male, I assume) is not pandering to that particular community. He’s probably a good guy, but he comes off insensitive toward minorities. So I think this show could absolutely benefit from having a queer perspective.

I love Yellowjackets and I love this podcast. Corey, ignore the haters. You’re hilarious. All of you are. Keep up the great work!

I too cannot stand Corey. But I have a soft spot for this show because it was the first Yellowjackets-themed podcast I came across!

I appreciate the conversation from the hosts but the lead host does not listen to the others when they give their opinions. She interrupts and does not allow them to elaborate. She is obviously passionate about the show but her co-hosts have to get frustrated by her inability to allow them to speak. I know I do :) I will keep listening though and I am glad they are covering this awesome show.

Thanks for doing this podcast. To me it’s like listening to a bunch of friends chatting about their favorite show, including all the Corey bashing. Jackie Rachael you are amazing too! 😀 Will you do any podcasts on the off season to discuss different things about the show in more detail once the season ends?

This show is one of three pods that I've found that are covering Yellowjackets on Showtime. The pod is great, and I love the women's voices and perspectives that are showcased. They do a great deep dive into the episodes and provide a great analysis of each ep. That being said, one voice, Corey, leaves a lot to be desired on this pod. His views and commentary truly bring down the tone of this pod and THIS SHOW which both focus on a woman-centric story and perspective. The women on the pod continually have to excuse his sexist and misongynist comments. I doubt he truly understands or believes how his comments come across, but he would benefit from a hard look at his words and some work on self-awareness. Also, who is the other male voice that chimes in from time to time? His voice seems to be one that needs to be heard more on the pod if this team wants to include a make perspective on such a woman-centric show. Thanks for the work to get this out each week. got it all: a tour of each episode which always illuminates important details I somehow missed despite watching each episode avidly, it has the theories of which the better ones are explored and the absurd ones rightly dismissed, plenty of thought-provoking speculation, and lastly I guess it has to be said, I like Corey!

Does Corey actually watch this show? Doesn’t sound like it. No question he’d be the first one killed and eaten if we’re fortunate enough to hear he got stranded in the wilderness.

I'm really enjoying this pod. Its mostly just a recap but they do get into a few Reddit theories and stuff. My only wish would be that it would come out on Wednesday or Thursday. It would be a nice middle of the week tie over to the next episode. I always end up listening to their recap after ive already seen the next episode after the one they recap.

The lead chick is sooo off base I feel like her fellow podcasters have a better read on everything and should talk more. This is one of the only podcasts on Yellowjackets which is the only reason why I am still listening.

This is just a really extensive recap of the show with the hosts asking each other a bunch of questions and then never expanding with their own theories. If you’ve seen the show, there’s really no reason to listen to this.
