Like the podcast but holy cow I hope I never have to listen to some dumb bimbo talk ever again. If the podcast was an hour I bet she said like at least 500 times, couldn’t listen to more than half.

I love what this podcast is doing for vets. For me there was something very freeing about getting some traumatic experiences off my chest. I’m sure others had the same experience but I honestly felt in a better headspace after doing this podcast. Thank you Josh and Urban Valor for all you do. Cheers 🤙

I met Josh “El Guero” through close mutual law enforcement brothers several months. We had lunch down by the beach in Orange County and hit it off immediately! He asked me I’d like to jump on his podcast. I said “Let’s F#€KING GO! We did the follow week. I’m on a mission to help fellow combat veterans, LEOs, firefighters, and other first responders heal from their visible and invisible wounds of trauma from war and service to our communities! We will be doing future podcasts together. Josh was able to experience our Tejano-Indio culture back home in Texas in April. My family and I now consider him family! Much love Guero! It’s a must listen. Every episode. Amazing work and gives you insight to things normal people may not understand about veterans.

There are so many stories from veterans and their families that go untold. Urban Valor provides real insight into their experiences before, during, and most importantly after their service to the country. For the interviewees, being heard is as important helping others take a peak behind the curtain of military service and how it permanently changes those who were drafted or volunteered to serve.

What an incredible podcast that allows not only for the veterans sharing their stories, but for listeners, military or not, to understand and share in these incredible testimonies. The rawness and truth shared about the good and the bad brings healing and understanding. Being a wife of a marine, and walking this journey from bootcamp to civilian life, having a place where veterans and family of veterans can share, means so much to me. One thing stands true, Urban Valor has created a place where veterans can share without being judged, where military and civilians can get a glimpse of military life, and get to know the men and women who serve and protect our great country. Thank you for this amazing space.

The Urban Valor Podcast and YouTube channel offer a unique format that presents both the raw experiences and self-reflections of Veterans, as well as those who have relationships with them and are affected by their service in as many ways as the veterans themselves. There are plenty of podcasts and interviews out there getting the Veterans personal perspective, but this deeper dive allows the listener to gather a more complete understanding of the service and experience of Veterans and their friends and families that you won’t get somewhere else. Keep up the great work Urban Valor, you are providing an important perspective on service that most who haven’t served wouldn’t see otherwise.

Hands down bed the rawest podcasts. Thank you for giving these veterans and their spouses a safe safe to share their stories. Their stories may just be exactly what someone else may need to hear. To know they aren’t alone.

Thank you for this podcast. These stories need to be heard. I am grateful to be able to catch even a glimpse of these experiences. It helps me understand my husband better. Sending my love out to our veterans and all who serve.

These are amazing stories as Air Force veteran. Some of this just gives me chills. Some of it makes me think everything we did and have done made it worth it. I think the veteran community needs more of this. Because this just doesn’t cover combat missions this is stories from combat to sexual assault boot camp etc! I have never been more interested in a podcast then this. I wish we all could share some of our stories!!

Pretty amazing how these kids of 17-18 yrs old choose their draft options. From when the basic training started to the attraction of the uniforms. These guys grew up FAST but what a contribution these guys made and the sacrifices they made for our country. They are all heroes.

Josh and the whole Urban Valor Team are putting together some amazing stories here, all with the notion of raising awareness and bringing assistance to veterans who need our help. Bravo guys! 🙌🏻🇺🇸 Really enjoyed listening to these first few episodes. It seems like EVERY story is unique, engaging, and one that needs to be heard. Its important these stories are told and heard. People from all walks of life, every race, religion, sex come together to share common stories and experiences.
