Thought of just giving this a 1 start for the heck of it… lol It’s been a pleasure and honor to come on as a guest to review Lord of the Rings content!! That being said, I enjoy Mavs episodes for their deep thought. I am not so critical in some areas but it’s cool to have a different perspective. I also have enjoyed their reviews of the Marvel films. Not sure if you’ll cover all of them, but I would listen to nearly all of it. Maybe. It is cool to be able to go back and listen to a review of a movie you enjoy. This is great!!

A great idea for a podcast. The hosts (Maverick & Avalon) have a good rapport. I like the idea of doing a deep dive into the plot and I like the 9 questions they came up with to develop the ranking system. I do think that comedies should have a different set of questions though.

This was absolutely engaging and informative. I listened to the episode of Silence of the Lambs and they did a great job of pulling out nuggets and relationships and it was just a wonderful episode.

Fun podcast about movies that reminds you of some of the good stuff in each movie. Learned a few things too. If you enjoy movies, listen!

The host and guests are definitely much harsher than me when it comes to critiquing movies but they make a ton of great points that movie-buffs and critiques alike would agree with and think about. Definitely got me thinking about movies in a more in-depth way. Good job!

I love Pam’s Labyrinth and the episode on it revealed many aspects I didn’t catch before. This show does a great job of adding dimension to the plots you thought you knew!

I finally found a show made for movie needs like me and it is glorious! These are the conversations I have with my wife and closest friends after a movie. I just found a new favorite show.

I knew that I was going to love this podcast as soon as I saw their feedback on Blue Beetle. I totally agreed and felt like they might’ve been reading my mind lol. I’m excited to follow this podcast further, because I know there are going to be some real nuggets about the movies that you won’t hear from other resources.

I have listened to many podcasts in my day, and of course, there is an endless pool of resources for podcast topics and concepts. I have yet to come across a podcast that takes a deep dive into plots of movies. I think it’s an awesome idea. My only one drawback that I could think of as I scrolled through the episodes was if you did not see the movie and have no intention of seeing the movie listening to that episode made no sense. however, I did find several movies that I have seen and listen to the episodes and I enjoyed the two hosts take on their plots. Good job.
