I was looking for daily news on the Russian-Ukraine war, just to follow what is happening, and this does a decent job in that regard. They are however hopelessly pro-Ukraine, which I’m fine with, but it’s to the point of inserting a bunch of opinion into what should be just straight news instead of saving it for editorials. To be clear, I’m on Ukraines side as well, but facts are facts, and I just want factual information. With that said they’re still the best opinion out there that I’ve heard and not straight propagandist. Unfortunately they do feel the need to follow old and tired traditional news formula of having the boring human interest puff pieces as part of the podcast, thankfully it’s saved for the end of the show. Seriously, who enjoys that stuff? But it’s 2024 and I can just hit next, so thankfully we live in the future. Overall I’d give this podcast a 3.5 rating, which means I like it, but it could easily be a 5-star podcast.

How can the US tell Ukraine to reduce corruption when our own govt cannot even audit DoD and Generals retire and promptly go to work for monopolistic defense contractors? We paid for those Generals to train eat etc- yet we watch as they become lobbyists for all sorts of Defense corps.theUSA has merely legalized corruption.

Very thorough reporting and explanation on all aspects that effect the conflict. Incredibly helpful in understanding the what, how and why of military, diplomatic information and economic efforts from nations and private interests. Always fresh information despite it being a daily podcast.

Francis Dearnley dissecting the import of Rod Stewart getting jeers in the eastern Germany city of Leipzig is perfectly reasonable and adds to the understanding of the current situation. I wish that Ukraine The Latest wasn’t necessary listening but it is. And just when you least expect it, you get “N-n-n-n-nineteen” and it’s hilarious.

It's a podcast with a core of talented journalists at the Daily Telegraph, if you listen you know i'm referring to David, Dom, and Francis, who have an entertaining rapport. Together with several talented regulars and many interesting guests, they do a wonderful job covering daily updates on the war in ukraine, a serious topic. The level of quality and information density is really remarkable for a daily, five-times-a-week podcast. And in spite of what must be a terrible amount of fuss, they seem to really enjoy what they are doing (and I would be too, if I were them.) With all the work they are doing day in and day out, the least I can do is write a nice review.

I have followed the war since Day 1. In the beginning It was challenging to locate current, accurate news. I had to search the internet for information posted within the past few hours. Then I found Ukraine the Latest. As soon as the show posts, I stop what I’m doing to listen. Excellent international perspective. I’m in the USA.

This excellent podcast keeps me up to date on the Russia Ukraine war. There is, however, a rather constant theme that all depends on the United States. It is amazing that Western Europe, without any contribution from the United States cannot supply all of Ukraine’s needs and wants.That is not to say that the United States should not contribute but why does it need to?

This is my best source for news about the war in Ukraine. The interviews, reporting and analysis are top-notch. I’m very grateful for the stunning amount of work, organization and analysis that goes into every episode. It took me a couple of years to find it, but I now listen regularly. I have been unable to find this level of detailed reporting anywhere, without subscribing to a ton of newspapers, but don’t have the money or unlimited time to do that. For anyone who doesn’t want to see America dragged into another conflagration we could have prevented if we hadn’t shamefully dragged our feet when we had the chance to stop it, this podcast is essential listening. This is actually a war between democracy and autocracy, and if the democracies have been slow to recognize this, Russia, China, Iran and North Korea, et.al., have not. There’s nothing like it on U.S. news, most of which is wall-to-wall coverage of the Trump porn trial, night after night, as if World War III weren’t already beginning on the other side of the world.

I’ve subscribed to The Telegraph after listening to this very informative podcast, listening from South Texas, USA on my “lorry” while doing my nightly petrol deliveries.

This is essential listening for anyone interested in Russia’s war against Ukraine. In a daily package the team provides news and updates from the war, thoughtful interviews with important guests, and insightful and well thought opinions. This is the best use of your time if you want to know about the war.

This podcast is an excellent daily update of the war in Ukraine with news and insight. It is unique in that each correspondent is given whatever time they need to cover the most recent events from the fighting, from European capitals, events in Russia, and the politics of Congress. The correspondents aren’t reading a script but instead relaying the information as you would hear it from a group of friends. Yet they never lose sight of the seriousness of the war and never devolve into silliness, as some other podcasts have.

Basically the title, this is hugely anti-Russian and fails to explain GOP isolationism, Ukraine corruption etc

So I really enjoy this podcast and staying up to date with Ukraine news. I am very interested in becoming a UXO operator(Unexploded Ordinance Operator) and then move to Ukraine to help demine the country. I was curious about information on that so I emailed Ukraine the latest and Dom got back to me very quickly. He gave me some good information and was genuine about it. I will continue to listen to this podcast at work in the mornings everyday until Ukraine reaches victory. I also hope my plans come true and sooner rather then later. If it wasn’t for Ukraine: The Latest I don’t feel like I would have the option of balanced, thoughtful, perspective on the current conflict and it’s significance.
