A ReveLook Forward to MoreSo few people even consider the origin stories of our food in this country. Lots of misconceptions flow through the community or honestly just no thoughts about it at all. I’m so excited for a podcast that doesn’t just focus on food in the US but specifically food as it’s been influenced by Black Americans. This will be a beautiful ride. May you have a wildly successful podcast.

Trish PluggenWarm and ComfortingThis podcast combines two of my favorite topics Black History and food. This podcast feels like hot soup on a cold winter day. I welcome and appreciate the continued knowledge of African American cuisine and how it’s shaped what we know as American cuisine. Love the podcast. Can’t wait to hear more.

kairajdFood History at its Finest. The first episode discusses how barbecue and Black food became to be a staple in American culture. The history behind that knowledge is fascinating; the anthropological history of a people and how they shaped the palette of this nation is definitely worth listening to.
