IlliniVetteMy favorite F1 podcastThe dynamic between Spanners and Meg is great, I tend to prefer podcasts with both genders represented and their podcast chemistry flows naturally. I also appreciate that one is British and one is American. I think in an international sport it's good to have perspective and analysis from different countries because you get different rooting interests, whether it be for a team, a driver, or views on rules and what each think gives the best product. The only downside is I wish they produced more content. I could listen to them break down qualifying, Sprint Races and the Grand Prix individually or on a 3hour podcast at the end of the weekend. I could also listen to them spend more time, maybe a weekly episode or two breaking down the teams/drivers not in the top 4. I like it when they've touched on Williams or Alpine, even the Tsunoda side or RedBull, but give me that along with thoughts on Aston Martin, Haas, etc. I recommend this podcast to anyone from entry level fans to long time fans who just want to listen to a couple fans talk about racing.

Rob2323232323Missing Kevin ClarkShow was great when Kevin started it and ran it. Then ofc two wokies now took it over and have to put political feelings into it like everything these days
-
Santa YnezStill a no thanks from meI used to listen regularly, then last season I got sick of spanners last year. (I get it, Lewis Hamilton does for our sins and is to be worshipped. I got it) I thought I’d give this pod another chance, but it’s no different. When spanners is gone, maybe I’ll come back. But then again, I probably won’t know he’s gone, so…..
-
CirculationDeskWhat?!You are doing a disservice to the F1 listeners by not challenging Spanners on his opinion regarding Max’s Quali lap in Japan. Please listen to other drivers and f1 true experts.
-
The Lord of MezzHas Found its GrooveSolid F1 talk and deep dives without misleading gossip or hyper. Meg and Spanners bring enough knowledge to the table to make topics interesting without getting too technical striking a good balance for both longtime and newer fans. Healthy doses of sarcasm bring good fun, don't listen to the reviewers crying about tinfoil hat conspiracy theories... they don't know how sarcasm works
-
Tmb4463Slanted takesThese people treat George Russell like he’s a complete bum and Lewis Hamilton is the second coming in 2025 when George beat him head to head (even with getting an entire race taken away!) ANYWAY it’s weird to see this much bias I miss Kevin.
-
MurphcaneLove this duo, keep them goingGreat fun on a weekly basis, love the British / American mix, and both Meg and Spanners sarcasm and love for the sport. Keep this group going for the 2025 season ringer staff!
-
sx70Then: Unique. Now: RedundantThe Ringer F1 show used to be a breath of fresh air, a uniquely American take on F1 in a sea of mostly British voices. Now, I like Spanners—even with his conspiracies—he is entertaining and at least has some self awareness to his highly opinionated… opinions (allow myself to introduce…myself). In a sea of F1 podcasts though, whats the point in listening to this one now when I could be listening to Missed Apex? It was great when Spanners dropped in once jn a while and you had different guests but now I fail to see the point. Love Megs but that’s not enough. DITCH SPANNERS IN 2025
-
Apollo20This is a hard noI am an obsessed fan of F1 so I will listen to anything regarding F1 this is painful and so lacking in facts - way to fluffy and these folks do not know the rules - I have tried a few times to give them the benefit of the doubt. It’s simply not lovely.
-
tulverMehLiked it better with the previous hosts. Spanners is off on his tinfoil hat conspiracy theories but tries to cover it by saying he doesn't believe there's a conspiracy even though he keeps bringing it up. Own it, dude.
-
BOTTASSSSSSS10/10 would recommendGood vibes, very enjoyable listen! Spanners brings the British dad humor and Meg brings the hot midwestern wifey material energy
-
DockvjBest F1 podcast by farReally loving the show since they went to Meg and Spanners! As a DTS baby, been following the sport for about 4 years now, their recaps are my must go to after races. Keep up great work!
-
0522pineSpanners’ superiority complex spoils it!I don’t know how Meg does it. Spanners never fails to remind her how long he has been watching F1, implicitly highlighting his superior fandom as compared to newer fans. He also never misses an opportunity to belittle Meg’s commentary. He is a completely ungracious subject matter expert, and spoils their potential chemistry as a result. Spanners has caused me to no longer listen to this pod. Check out BBC’s Chequered Flag for professional, collegial commentary!
-
NotthefinalroseWe don’t care about your politicsKeep them out of your commentary, be mature adults.
-
hubris1Truly excellent commentary.Every episode delivers, especially with Meg and Spanners Ready.
-
le olde appleComing along! The host has def been working on their presentation skills. The program seems more natural. Happy to tune in! Also, having Spanners in is pretty cool!
-
ndpriceGreat Show!An awesome F1 podcast, really enjoy Meg and Spanners together
-
Mike3698428Jodi Walker is badJust think if someone was reviewing hard knocks and purposefully didn’t watch the nfl. That’s Jodi Walker. Not a fan of the sport. Just a fan of talking
-
like are we sureNo F1 knowledge or insightIt pains me to say this because the host seems very nice and likable but when you don’t do anything on Bahrain testing and instead you do a 2 part DTS pod, might as well admit you’re not actually into the racing and this podcast is just a product of the Ringer’s leadership’s Netflix algorithms… wish a large podcast company would give a legitimate platform to racing of all series.
-
nvh917Seriously?Let me get this right. We have livery previews, car launches and the first time we’ve seen cars on track for the first time in months and the content we’re getting is a review of DTS?
-
Broad Squad MDChanging my review to a 5 for SpannersMeg and Spanners are the winning combo. The podcast has improved so much from when it started!
-
RobotZedA perfect blendI feel like all good podcasts have one grounded, relatable host and one opinionated, off the wall 'guest' and this show has really found that balance with Meg and Spanners. I really appreciate Meg asking the questions Im thinking about and Spanners is my favorite old school f1 uncle telling me how it used to be. Thanks for making the season better!
-
D-zizzyLook Forward to Listening Every Week!Helps me get through the afternoon slog at work on mondays! A genuine treat to listen to
-
mly_ryr_nyGreat Pod!The best F1 podcast I've found. Spanners and Meg do a great job previewing/recapping. Their conversation and banter comes across as very natural and I love how they can get into the minutiae of each race, techincal details etc... while still keeping things light.
-
notamuscicianbut...Best f1 podcast!Love it!
-
Dashb88ExcellentI love listening to this podcast after each race. Spanners as guest is always a treat.

-
BigFar06The Perfect F1 ShowEasily the most enjoyable F1 podcast. The combo of Meg and Spanners makes for an incredibly enjoyable and informative F1 pod. Meg provides the hardcore F1 journalism and Spanners, the hot takes, brilliant insights, and zero Mercedes bias.
-
Saucy318Amazing podPodcast is amazing, Meg is a midwestern treasure!
-
JTofATLSpammers and Megan are GreatI love the cross-cultural perspectives offered by each of them! Great show and analysis! I look forward to it every week.
-
TaptdGreat PodcastThis is a must listen for any F1 fan. I especially enjoy the race recaps with Spanners. He brings so much inside knowledge to the show
-
Fantastic14687Favorite PodLook forward to this pod every Monday after a race. Much more entertaining and informative than the same old same old NFL pods.
-
crimejunkiekatieAmazingF1 content that’s timely, fun, and honest. Spanners - never change.
-
JZ911F for Fantastic (and F1)Best F1 podcast out there. Great commentary and recap on the races and team transactions. Also not too technical for us new F1 followers.
-
Bronx okIt’s GreatClark is gone, but that only means more Spanners. Spanners explains the races the way a novice like me understands. Meg is great at keeping him on the track
-
VersaceToppyMeg and SpannersMeg and Spanners are great, awesome duo The Ringer in general has some amazing podcasts.
-
HeathShulerStrong informative podcast for both experienced and new fansNice balance between F1 European pundit (Spanners) whose knowledge goes back to history relevant to current F1 (80s and beyond), with American host who ask intelligent questions (and make observations) about F1 culture and strategy.
-
YellowMakesMeStayAwayAmericas #1 F1 pod!*Great insight and attention to detail for us in the Drive to Survive generation. Good amount of tech talk and supplying the drama nuggets that others lack. Everything you’d expect from the Ringer team. Only suggestion would be to incorporate a Ryen Russillo guest appearance once a year. *#1 F1 pod in my heart
-
Punnu2223Favorite podcastLove this podcast. Love spanners from missed apex. I actually am more impressed with Megan. She does a fantastic job hosting the show and her passion for F1 is infectious. I know KC left but still my favorite show !
-
Donni112233Great F1 podcastI always listen to this show post race. Spanners brings great insights every race review!
-
New f1 guyLove itLove it. Don’t be shy to get more into the technical and driver strategy side of things.
-
Who?!?!?!My Favorite F1 PodcastI love Meg and Spanners. Thankfully it’s audio only so we don’t have to see Uncle Spanner’s head that looks exactly like a potato. If you want an F1 pod that isn’t too serious but still gives good analysis, try this one out.
-
Dan CorbinFun and SmartAlways the first podcast I listen to after a race. Fun banter with great analysis.
-
R1pkenNice tool to step up understandingI’m an F1 novice and enjoy them explaining some of the finer points and narrative
-
Danny AingeWildly entertaining breakdownsRIP to clarky boy and thanks to him for getting me listening, but Spanners and Meg have great rapport and get these race reviews up incredibly quickly
-
dpescaditoBest Motorsport podcastDance away, Spanners! Always enjoyable and insightful.
