Love this podcast

This is the kind of show I have been looking for since I discovered drama podcasts. I love television shows about the supernatural and paranormal. I don’t get to watch television much these days. This show has fulfilled my need for this type of entertainment. I can’t wait for the new season to release.

Like the banter between the characters and great storyline

The first season had massive audio issues, really loud sounds followed buy whispering dialogue. In a car or noisy environment itgotbetter and theplotmoved along. In season 2 it seems like the writers got stupid pills, it turned into a idiot comedy spoof of itself . I'm halfway thru S2 and may only go a fewmoreepsasI am dissappointed.

This is a pretty good show (not the best, not the worst) but it really irks me that James and Abigail are only FIVE YEARS APART in age, and they act as if 20 years separate them. She’s always making cracks about him being old, he’s always acting like an old G-rated sketch of a Bukowski character. When it’s like… yall… are practically the same age. Idk if it bothers me to the point of having to stop listen, but maybe! Also all the comparisons to movies and TV shows make the writing feel kinda trite. “Like that old show Dexter” “clown make up like the Joker Batman movie”. I get wanting to fall back onto those comparisons, but it just feels lazy. Sorry… I know this is kinda a mean review. It’s a good show otherwise. Thanks for creating it! Helps drown out the bad thoughts while I’m working.

I like to let them stack so I can listen in a binge to listen while I work or in the yard. the sound effects, storyline are top notch & very unique. I haven’t found too many that get me as much involved and hooked as haunted! Please don’t stop making seasons 🤍

I listen to a lot of different podcasts which have different degrees of production. Some of them are big media companies with a lot of sound effects and huge/famous casts and such and those are fine but on other occasions I like podcasts that are more low-key. When I say that haunted is kind of an old-school story I don’t mean that negatively it has the feel of an old-time radio program where the sound effects are done (at least in my mind) by the cast sitting there with a pair of shoes simulating someone walking away or slamming a door. It’s quaint in a good way. I also like the story. A lot of times in horror/sci-fi a complex story is fun but then unravels because it’s so complicated (Rabbits, Tannis, etc. come to mind) but this story balances the characters and the story manages to not get too convoluted so it holds up at least as of this writing. Also, by enlarge, the content creators have managed to keep their own personal issues and causes out of the story. Most casters are not able to do this and awkwardly jammin whatever their causes which alien portions of the show (pro Hamas/pro Israel somehow working its way into a horror podcast for example) but instead they just focus on the story, as they should. I get the sense that there’s a lot of pressure emoji podcasts to virtue signal using their story which is a bit of a poison pill since it’s most likely going to impress a small minority but most people will either be offended or get annoyed thatan irrelevant topic has been awkwardly bolted on where it doesn’t belong. Kudos for haunted resisting the surge and staying focused on the story almost exclusively. Great job.

Great writing, characters, stories. But the commercials for gross burgers and baby coughing up blood are simply repulsive ! I’ve never written a review to express my disgust for particular advertisements, but these need to go.

I found this podcast in the middle of a second season. I started binge listening to the first season and could not stop. It is engaging. It is well produced, and the voice cast is excellent. I absolutely love it cannot recommend it more.

This show is one of the best I’ve listened to. It’s very well written. One of my favorite tropes is the time loop. I loved the time loop episodes. The Christmas episodes are hilarious. I love the buffoon character. I hope he pops up again.

This show is amazing! I’ve recently expanded my listening to fictional podcasts and I’m so happy I found this one. The overarching story is so interesting and I love the interspersed “monster of the week” episodes. Great writing and fantastic actors. I was actually moved to tears during an episode in the first season. Cannot wait to see how the story plays out!

I love the sense of listening to an old fashioned radio mystery show. A bit over the top but fun to listen to and I really began getting invested in the main characters!!

Who DOESN’t love a little Dry Humour with their Autopsies, right? Found this Gem via #AudioDramaSunday on Twitter. The characters are well played, the Sound Design is great and “James’s one liners” are hilarious. I’ve listened to S1 “THE SIGNAL” Looking forward to the rest! Update: Season 2 (4/16/23) is back with a vengeance ! The Gang is back and the story is great. So looking forward to more !

And for the love of God, PLEASE DO NOT SELL OUT TO REALM, or other middlemen!!! LOVE LOVE YOUR SHOW! And X files type stories are awesome! UPDATE: 10/31/22, This podcast just keeps getting better and better, can’t wait for every episode to come out!!!! Love the characters and the actors, Brilliant British acting at its finest, tally ho! Update: 10/08/2022, This podcast just keeps getting better and better. Love anything British/Horror, and this podcast takes the cake, love it, love it! Interesting, intriguing, wonderful actors/characters. Makes wonderful listening for folks, who love a great story line, I’m hooked!!!

I’ve been able to binge through three seasons and love how the stories are separate but weave together. I thought it started off good, been then saw a difference after a few episodes as the actors and script settled in and found their stride. Interesting episodes—I keep trying to fit in one more episode before I have to stop for the night.

Excellent story, great voice acting. One of my favorites.

This is a fun scary podcast with great sound design, actors, writing, and not too gory. Just what I’m looking for in a podcast!

I absolutely love this podcast. The voice actors/actresses and production are amazing. The stories are gripping and just so good! Listen to this, you won’t regret it.

The writing is decent, production good & acting solid. But after a while the patronizing paranormal detective gets grating...

I really like this podcast! The storyline is interesting and the dialog is natural and oftentimes hilarious! Great comedic timing. Spooky story too!

I have been listening to Haunted since it first started airing and It has been a great journey so far! This series has an amazing voice cast with a captivating story as well. If I could rate it more than 5 I would!

Happened upon the podcast just today and haven’t stopped listening! I’m already at Part 6 of 6 of the Signal. Give it a try!
