    Great interviews
Interviews unlike many you have ever heard before, this show gives voice to the common person and their dreams and concerns. Way more interesting than many other interview style shows!

    Real conversations with real people
I have to say that whatever AI algorithm put an ad for The Jar podcast in my feed knows with certainty what I am into!! As a facilitator by profession, nothing matters to me more than getting people to have open, honest, & sometimes very raw conversations. This podcast does this in such an incredible way. The unplanned nature of the conversations that unfold make them so relatable!! I started by picking descriptions I thought would be people I would find interesting, but have found that sometimes the most unexpected topics & conversation twists are the ones I get the most out of. So glad to have discovered this podcast!!!

My first episode - I loved it!
Just found this podcast and I love the concept! Ordinary people are so fascinating. The questions from the jar are really thought provoking and deep. Can’t wait to listen to more episodes.

    Yay for authentic conversation!
I really love the concept of this podcast and the few episodes I’ve listened to so far! Traveling to different places to meet people is also refreshing in this age of video chat from different locations. By traveling to people’s homes you learn more about them and the conversation can be that much richer! Looking forward to more listening!

    Racist comments on twitter
Terrible host. A racist spreading hate only toward black people and other minorities. And a Christian show at that? Wow! I would NOT recommend!

Racist Host, spreading hate to blacks and others online
I would rate this podcast no stars if I could but since I can’t, I’ll give it one. As a fellow Christian and podcaster, I find it deplorable that Ken could tweet such hateful messages for the world to see on Twitter. His Twitter is @KS1028 and he blocked me once I asked him to explain his racist tweets Ken was caught on Twitter on June 13th 2023 mocking the death of olympic track star Tori Bowie, who died from childbirth complications. He stated “well at least she was black” I have a screenshot of this and I’ll never delete it. I’ll never recommend this podcast to anyone black, brown or white for that matter. But I will blast this page to all my followers and tell them to leave rescues exposing who you are. A nasty, old, dying shame

    Really Great & Needed
Conversations can be one of the tools of understanding each other. In the U.S. of A. this is needed now more than. We’re all human. We’re all more similarly than we think. This does reminds me of StoryCorps. If I had any critique, I do wonder if it could be shorter, or the questions not be so one after the other sometimes.

    Raw
I honestly thought it was going to be a normal podcast. But as soon as the questions started to come up the filters came down. It’s a unique concept that facilitates really good conversation that isn’t predictable. That brings with it listenability!

Shedding light on the human experience
The jar is a great concept to get people to talk about themselves, their beliefs, and their why. The more I listen, the more I realize how many similarities we can connect with. There is common ground in all of us.

Deep dives with people like you and I
A great listen, it’s humbling and uplifting hearing everyday people, talk about their lives, their struggles and success. Reminds you that we all have our mountains, uplifting to hear people speak of their past and lives in such a raw way.

    I love the vulnerability!
Sometimes it’s nice to know that you’re not the only one going through things. I love the questions that really make you think about life and how you view it.

    I can dig it
I loved the podcasts that I’ve checked out so far! To hear from real people about life and experiences. Episode #232 with Sara Jones is the podcast I’m listening to now. I hope to get an opportunity with Ken!

Love this podcast and it’s mission!
Ken and The Jar Podcast are so great! I had the chance to share my story on the show, but I’ve also listened to several episodes. The concept of the show is so creative and the backstory behind is even better. Ken is so easy to chat with and he’s doing great things in the world. If you see the van in your city, be sure to say hi to him! Keep up the great work Ken and team!

    Terrific
I love how this podcast pulls different people from different walks of life. Everyone has a story to tell. The Jar makes it possible and tells stories of achievements and preservation in story’s not widely told. I’m humbled by hearing tales from anyone willing to talk. It goes to show that you never know what someone is going through and we all fight battles. 5 stars!

    Binge Worthy!
The Jar is the kind of podcast you can binge for days and never get bored. Ken Stearns is able to earn his guests' trust in a way that allows them to be really authentic in their answers. The podcast is clean and simple and human, and the jar holds the kinds of questions I want to ask my students as they get ready to head into the world!

#175 Walking through life assuming positive intent with April Palmer
Holy crow, this was exactly the right episode to dive in with. It very much felt like a conversation, a heart to heart, that I might have with a new friend, or maybe a on like, a fifth date. I've got another espisode playing now, and it's just as engaging, but that first one was a holy crow! goosebumps things. Kinda like Amber said: it's that feeling when you've had a good conversation and you feel like you've been filled with sunshine.

    Ep 219 Gangs to Grace
I’m listening to this episode right now, and it’s really hitting home for me a lot. Karen and I are around the same age. I’m from a small Midwest town and she’s from a large East coast city. I appreciate the way Ken interviews. The questions are well written, and the way he asks them his tone, and demeanor. Karen was a great interview, and the self awareness and intention when responding. Thank you for sharing your story and allowing us to listen and learn more about who you are. My family is originally from Alabama on my mom’s side I’ve always wanted to see that side. I highly recommend listening to this podcast. It’s a really interesting show and the conversations are deep but don’t feel so hard to listen to.

    Binge-worthy!
I’m not a tv show person because I can’t sit still for that long so instead of binge-watching tv show, I binge listen to podcasts instead. Long story short- this is definitely the next podcast I’ll be binge listening when driving, cleaning, cooking, working, etc.

    Moving and real
The jar is a platform for humanity. Opening up your mind and life to share with others is the best way to relate, feel heard and know you are not alone. Our secrets make us sick and the darkness is what separates us. The jar shines a light where needed and I love listening to the deep and real stories of others.

    Looking into my soul
I sat with Ken yesterday morning and felt an immediate connection. Our conversation was deep and moving. I both thought and felt through the jar questions, some of them, brought tears to my eyes (I’m a crier). I could sit and talk with Ken for hours. I felt like I have known him for a very long time. (Maybe in another life?). I thank him for this opportunity to explore some thoughts and a lot of feelings out loud. This experience will stay with me forever! Tara Langston

    Early episodes
Ken does an excellent job making his guests comfortable, helping them open up and talk about their inner truths. It’s fascinating to me that people all over the country share common values, and someone that may seem somewhat simple, is guided by very deep and complex thoughts. A fascinating listen.
