A Perfect Podcast…If It Was Longer
I absolutely love the breadth of talent that is interviewed in this podcast! It’s just a shame that so many of the episodes are SO SHORT. They barely scratch the surface, and seem to end just as they’re getting interesting. Speaking of ending abruptly, some of the episodes are poorly edited and end at the incorrect time (we’re talking mid-sentence of the interviewee speaking). What’s up with that?

Lack of women featured is absurd
I know some niches of music tend to male dominated, but they aren’t even trying to include an equal representation of women. The ad for this podcast that I saw on Hulu had zero women/non-binary featured. Gross.

    What a Delight!
After seeing promotions for this on Hulu, I decided to try an episode. I went to the only program I was familiar with - Only Murders in the Building - and was completely enthralled! I am a great lover of music, and to hear about the development of and nuances to the musical component to a beloved television series from the creative mind behind it was, in today’s superlative: a chef’s kiss! I, then, sent links to family and friends to encourage them to check out this podcast. I think it’s wonderful that the composer(s) are explaining their process and the intimate details and meanings to their very important contribution to the program. While critics and academic types have their usefulness, I think they often put meaning where there is none, and emphasize things that aren’t meant to be emphasized. (This is my bias as a writer about what others have to say about a book or script.) Having the composer discuss his/her process and the music created for the screen is much more enlightening and much more interesting. I look forward to exploring other composers for other programs of the small and large screen. Is there a way to put forth suggestions of future shows?

    I wish these were longer
I love movie scores and I could listen to these composers talk about their inspiration for much longer than 4 or 5 minutes. I appreciate some have their full interviews released. To the people hating on no women being on the podcast - did they miss Amanda Jones? Also there aren’t as many female composers in this space. It’s not like the podcast is excluding them on purpose.

Why does the show feature male only creators? ??
Male only. Pass on this . Please include women. Could you not find a single female artist to feature?
