Starting to repeat guests and topics
I followed Erika from the early beginnings of when she first launched her podcast. I was invested every week to listen to each episode. The guests were all interesting and the topics had me HOOKED. Lately a lot of her episodes are repeat topics or have guests coming back on more than one time. The last few episodes have had the same people coming back and talking about basically the same topics. For example, Ankur Jain and Pete Buttigieg have been on the podcast more than once so the discussion was basically the same. I think Erika might be running out of ideas or people to interview. I’m at the point now where I don’t even get excited anymore to listen to her podcast cause it’s always the same people. Also there are SOOOO many ads. I get that the ads give you revenue, but my goodness. It feels like there are too many during one episode. Keep it to one or two per episode. Hope she maker better content!

    Misconceptions
I didn’t realize the misconceptions about points and how to make the point system work for you. Also, I was aware of the knowledge about credit scores but because my limit is low I don’t know how to make it work for me. My goal is to be able to purchase a house but I’ve been at the same score for years. It’s like a roller coaster. I really want to take the tips and start over with the two secured credit cards I have and get out of the paycheck to paycheck.

    TPG!
This episode inspired me to get back into the points game! I discovered TPG last year and was excited about using cards to my advantage, as I love traveling, but life happened and I began to rely on the credit cards a bit too much- and overspending. Recently I decided to start going back to using debit card only to make sure my balances got to zero. Now that they are, and after watching this episode, I have the confidence to do the research and start again. This episode taught me that my credit cards can be used for so much more than just paying, and earning points. I decided to see what benefits my current card has, and there is travel insurance, lost baggage reimbursement, and even road side assistance. Thank you for this episode, for inspiring me to start again. The motivation is there, now time to build momentum!

    Good info
This podcast is great. I just listened to Fly First Class and it has a lot of great tips. One of the best tips is to use credit cards for everyday purchases instead of a debit card. Pay the balance immediately so you don’t pay interest and earn points. Not only that, but every purchase is protected based on the credit card protection.

    Flying First Class
I love the energy and transparency from the video. It made it a very enjoyable watch and provided much comfort to hear him speak highly of the chase sapphire card. I have it, but I don’t think I truly understood how to maximize my perks and the importance of understanding perks until this video. Also loved his tid bit about volunteering to fly business class for overbooked flights. It does emphasize the “it doesn’t hurt to ask” mantra.

Restored my faith in Card Benefits!
I just finished watching Brian and Erika's Podcast on "Flying Firstclass for Free." I learned SO much! Primarily, how to pick the right cards and utilize them carefully to reap the travel benefits. I also learned how the cards with higher annual fees aren't necessarily bad; they often carry great rewards that outweigh the cost. Overall, this was a fabulous podcast that is very useful to me. It has restored my faith in using credit card points. I had given up even using them since I've had a few negative issues due to expiring points or programs. Thrilled to have the knowledge to use them for my benefit. Thanks Brian and Erika!

A wealth of knowledge in “Fly First Class For Free with These Travel Hacks with The Points Guy”
I already subscribed to Erika Insiders and absolutely love it. In this episode it was very inspiring to hear about Brian Kelly’s inspiration side hustle turned lucrative business through the world of travel points. My biggest take away from this is utilizing business status to sign up for business credit cards, which enables bigger bonus and spender perks. Key stated you can even do this as a sole proprietor with as little as an Etsy shop. This was very eye opening to me. I’ve had an Etsy shop for years but didn’t think opportunities like that were available. Since this year I have a proper registered sole proprietorship with an agency business and plan on taking full advantage from here on out with my travel bonus points. I travel a lot, so I found the entire episode informative. Hopefully, I’ll be considered for the Erika Insiders $1000 Giveaway, so that I can put it towards investing in a S&P 500 stock this year. I’d love for Erika to cover a European market and pension episode. I’ve been having money put into my pension since the last 6 years and would like to know how to calculate that into my investing equation at my age of 33. Thanks again Erika and Brian! I’d highly recommend the podcast to anyone.

    Travel Hacks 🤩
Just listened to Fly First Class For Free, so glad I did! Learned that some merchants have their points integrated into the price, so if you’re using a debit card..you’re paying for other people’s rewards!! What in tarnation

    Lighthearted yet informative!
My boyfriend and I just got done listening to “Fly First Class For Free with These Travel Hacks with The Points Guy”. We have been making it a weekly goal to learn something about finance together once a week, and we loved this episode because it is a fun and lighthearted way to learn something new. We learned which cards are best for travel, and we also learned that you don’t have to travel all the time to earn points. The Points Guy explains affiliate marketing, starting a business, as well as things consumers can do to make the most with their travel points. It is inspiring to hear his story and less complicated than I ever imagined to travel in style using credit card points. Thanks Erika!

    So many gems!
I considered myself pretty knowledgeable about points and was pleasantly surprised to learn so much from this podcast! I appreciated the opportunity to gain such fascinating perspective on entrepreneurship and career advice as well! The main thing I learned is that the best kind of rewards cards are those that have transferable points. I also learned about Built as a way to gain points and build credit. Will continue to listen!

    Erika has very informative stuff
Listening to the points guy through Erika taught me podcast was very informative about how to win the game of using credit cards. If you are not taking advantage of points and cash back from credit cards, you’re leaving money behind.

Nuggets Right Out of the Gate!
I listened to the “Fly First Class For Free with These Travel Hacks with The Points Guy” Episode and learned immediately that there was a way for people relocating to the US to begin to build credit here through Nova Credit! Who knew there was a cross-border credit bureau?!? Mind blown, but it makes sense! Thank you Erika for being a great resource!

Love learning what I’m doing RIGHT! Thanks, Erika!
After listening to Erika’s episode with the Points Guy (one of my fave travel bloggers) and so many other episodes, I’m just so grateful she’s out there letting people know not just what they can do better but what we have been doing right! I feel like so many finance experts tell people how they’ve screwed up but Erika and her always letting people know a) how it makes that they may have come to think something that wasn’t true because of what we were taught, and then b) simple and practical ways to make changes that make a huge difference. And I’m so happy to know I’d get an A+ from the Points Guy because I’m already on top of all these ways to make travel AWESOME!

Good tips on how to use points and rewards
Informative podcast! Some eye openers here. I am an non resident in USA and recently opened a checking account with Chase after getting a job. So we went ahead and applied for a freedom unlimited card which was a far stretch because I don’t have a credit history in the US. But it got approved. So the point in the podcast where they say that your international credit history is counted too. That is true!!! And yes, I am going to get myself added as an authorised user to my husband’s sapphire card which will help me make my credit history stronger. Thanks for all the tips!

Travel Hacks With the Points Guy
Erika’s podcasts are always full of helpful tips and tricks for building wealth and becoming financially savvy. This episode of “Fly First Class for Free with These Travel Hacks with the Points Guy” was particularly insightful as it highlighted transferable points credit cards such as Chase Sapphire and how to renew travel points when they are about to expire. When picking a credit card, ask yourself if you are getting more value from the card then what you are paying for it. Thanks, Erika!

    Earning points
I learned a few things from this podcast. The most interesting thing I learned was shopping through skymiles shopping to earn miles on things that I’m already going to buy. I now know that I can earn miles on the bag of dog food that I need. Why not earn miles on things that I need!

Travel Hacks from The Points Guy
This was a really interesting episode. What stuck out to me is that if you’re it getting points from your cards, you’re basically throwing away money! What a great thing to remember for me as I want to take some big trips over the next few years!

Great content and practical tips on Travel and more!
I have been following Erika on socials and find the quality of her guests and podcasts to be top notch. While not new to investing or finance - the simplicity and currentness of her program are great reminders and checkpoints to stay on financial track. So much so that when people ask where I learned something that I mentioned or shared, I respond “Erika Told Me” I just listened to the “Fly First Class For Free with These Travel Hacks with The Points Guy.” Episode and didn’t realize that merchants factor in the credit card processing costs - especially as a number of establishments will add the handling fee.

    Talk about useful!!!! Love it!
Just listened to the How to Fly First Class Free with the Points Guys and it was incredible. Brian’s story of how he became TPG is amazing and motivating—it inspires me to think about ways that I too can be entrepreneurial, profitable, and philanthropic all at the same time—as well educational. Several of the things, I knew about already, probably through him (Keyser Sose!), but I did learn a lot as well. Looking forward to other episodes of Erika Taught Me! This is one of the most practical podcasts out there!

I listened to the Points Guy episode and learned that there are a few ways you can reset/renew your airline points if they’re expiring soon - thanks Erika! :)

Fly First Class for Free and Travel Hacks with the Points Guy
I watched the whole podcast and even though the podcast was about accumulating points and the right credit cards, the point that jumped out the most to me was when the Points Guy mentioned to do everything you can to get out of credit card debt. Getting a credit card to gain points is negated if you can’t pay off your balance in full every month. That’s advice that hit me the hardest.
  • Ceemengz
    Learned about travel hacks
Watched her episode with The Points Guy and learned how lucrative it can be to have the right credit cards to maximize your rewards to get free travel and other perks. The Chase Freedom card Chase Sapphire Preferred are a great combo because of Chase’s Ultimate Rewards program to combine your points together. Also loved the conversation from this episode about avoiding burnout by getting the right people around you.

    Travel pro tips
Wish I had known this information sooner in my life but love that I can have more power over credit cards and use them to my advantage. Now I understand points, which card is best for me and not to close cards but to down grade to avoid lowering my credit score.

    Love Erika’s podcasts!
I particularly loved TPG episode because I am trying to do a lot more domestic travel this year to visit a family member that moved out of state! This was a great information, thank you!

    Fly First Class For Free
Fly first class for free with Erika and the Points Guy episode was mind-blowing. I learned that you don’t have to be a frequent flyer to earn points. You can just make purchases but you have to pay the credit card off at the end of the month. Once I become debt-free, I plan to take advantage of getting a good credit card to build points to receive free trips and other rewards. Sapphire or Chase Freedom credit cards are recommended by Erika.

I loved the episode with Hina Khan
It was highly inspiring to me. I'm super grateful to both of you.

    Are you ok?
The guests are great and topics are interesting but Erika just sounds like the energy is sucked out her. She whines to get personal help from the guests. It seems to be getting worse with each episode.

    You Inspire
I just listened to your interview with Noah Kagan. So many impactful points it’s difficult to pick any out. You’re clear and honest approach to your podcast and teaching is appreciated and needed. The synergy and rapport you create with your interviews is phenomenal. The creative and supportive environments that you and Noah talk about is how business should be done.

    Such a treat
Erika is a very good interviewer. I especially appreciate the kind of guests she invites to her podcast, for instance Prof Galloway. This was such a simple and intuitive, yet thought through financial life plan.

Healing for me and my sister
The episode on what we need to know about a narcissist really hit home for me and my sister. I honestly feel this will be a big step in my healing journey from a narcissistic father whom I looked up to dearly and has clearly made it a point to devalue me and make me feel small. I’m telling you EVERYTHING on this podcast matched exactly my efforts and effects from this tumultuous relationship. I just ordered her book. Thanks for this first step.

Tiffany Aliche episode is a must listen
Thank you for this interview. I’ve been a Tiffany fan for a long time but didn’t know her big life change over the last few years. I’m heartbroken for her and her family but also inspired to make changes based on her advice. This talk had me wiping away tears for hours. So meaningful and important. Thank you again. Erika, you did a great job.

    Thank you Erika!
Love, love, love that you did a podcast with a plastic surgeon to help us stay looking younger longer! This helps us save tens of thousands of dollars by not wasting money on expensive moisturizers that don’t really do anything. I also loved the part about cool sculpting - something I may have tried in the future had I not listened to this podcast. The only thing that was missing (or maybe I just missed it), was drinking lots of water to keep your body and skin hydrated. Thank you, Erika, for thinking outside of the box to bring us new subject matter. Betsy Carrier

    Interesting
I would have liked to hear more about collagen and how it is derived. When I looked up types of collagen, I realized that it comes from animals like bovine and chicken. It can also come from fish, but there was no explanation on the podcast about how a vegetarian or vegan might get this into their diet. There seems to be a real lack of easily available information for people who are choosing to avoid animal testing or animal products in beauty products. This is something that has become very important to me in the last couple years and I wish there was more emphasis on cleaner living. I have a wonderful routine with moisturizers and serums now, but it took me almost 2 1/2 years to figure out which products I wanted to use that did not include toxic ingredients or animal testing. There are so many toxins in life and so much unethical animal pain. More coverage needs to be spent on how to avoid those things and benefit from things like collagen.
  • Nilnilnilmil
Topics are so boring these days
The new episodes are not interesting. Feels like she’s doing it just for the sake of releasing new episodes every week
