I started listening to Girls Gone Hallmark after they appeared on Deck the Hallmark. As a huge Hallmark fan I had to give them a listen. I love their thoughtful reviews, their sometimes differing perspectives, the research they do, but mostly I just love them. Girls Gone Hallmark is a must for any Hallmark fan!!

There are a lot of Hallmark podcasts to choose from. Girls Gone Hallmark is a fun podcast-where they share their pov on movies-and even if they are not so keen on some, you don’t feel bummed that you have an opposite opinion. (Or insulted like some other places) This is like hanging out with your friends and chatting about your fav movies. Thank you!!

I tried.

Ugh this could easily be a 5 star podcast, but unfortunately it falls way short. All y’all have to do is some research. You know nothing about the actors/actresses in these movies you’re bashing, but then you’re like “but give us 5 stars!” Um no. And who watches Hallmark movies for the small details. You give a movie 2 stars cuz one small thing distracted you in a throw away scene. Ridiculous.

The best Hallmark podcast

Found Megan & Wendy a few months ago. I listen to them every day on my walk. I think I’ve listened to just about all of their Girls Gone Hallmark podcasts. Love the “news and notes” and the “did you see thats”. They are honest, respectful (even if they didn’t like it) and so much fun to listen to!!! SO glad I found you guys😊

How do you do a movie podcast with no recap?!

They want to talk about movies without a recap about what even happens in said movie! I’m so confused. I guess I have to watch the movie first to be able to even know what they’re talking about 😭

I love this podcast.

I’ve been a fan of Hallmark movies for years and last year discovered the Girls Gone Hallmark podcast and the wonderful community they’ve built. As best friends, their back and forth seems so spontaneous and is very funny, but with all this humor they provide high quality reviews. They also have a great relationship with their listeners. It really is a community, a very inclusive open minded community.

As someone who’s only been watching Hallmark movies for a year or two, I finally got the bright idea to search out a Hallmark podcast so I can hear what other people think and after listening to a few, I settled on Megan and Wendy’s as my “go to”…. They are self-proclaimed “best friends” and that really comes through on the pod, they have a natural, funny and easy rapport with each other and it always sounds like they’re having fun…. And because they’re having fun, it rubs off and I do too…

I just found this podcast a couple weeks ago but I’ve already binged many episodes. I feel like I’m listening to my best friends. I love that they point out things that I totally didn’t notice in the movie. It makes me want to rewatch it with a different perspective. Thank you, ladies!

Love Megan and Wendy’s Inclusive Views!

As a straight, white, Christian woman, I have absolutely NO desire to see only other straight, white, Christians on my screen. This world is a beautiful place, filled with incredible people. How sad it must be to only want to see people who look and think just like oneself. That’s why I love Girls Gone Hallmark so much; they celebrate diversity, inclusivity, and Hallmark movies - it’s the perfect podcast! 🤩

I was so looking forward to this podcast! I don’t need to hear their liberal political views and the criticism of others who don’t agree. Stop with the politics and just talk about Hallmark content.

Self-Proclaimed Hallmark Enthusiast

If you watch Hallmark like it’s a hobby and like to talk about it, this Podcast is a must listen. In fact, since following and listening to Megan and Wendy (in my opinion are 2 Hallmark extraordinaries) my Hallmark “must watch” Movies and TV series has grown exponentially.

Megan & Wendy give a lot of info before even starting the podcast. Their recaps are always honest, but never nasty. It’s refreshing to hear their takes without the nastiness like some podcasters do in their recaps.

As an avid viewer of Hallmark movies, I was so happy to discover the “Girls Gone Hallmark” episodes of “Long Story Short with Megan and Wendy”. Megan and Wendy have such great perspectives on the films as fans and they encourage engagement among their listeners. They tell is like it is! Brava! I look forward to many more episodes - especially now as we approach the Hallmark “Olympics” as it were, “Countdown to Christmas”
