Dizzy SarahThe sound is hard to listen toRuth needs to get a better microphone or else hold it further away from her face because it sounds very loud and distorted and it makes it impossible to listen to. Listen back to your podcasts the sound sounds like it's being blasted out of an old speaker.

Almost Famous OncePoor audio qualityThe quality of the audio is a challenge with this pod. It is crackly, volume is so up & down. I want to listen but it is rough.

ClubcollisMidlife wellness education at its bestThis podcast pulls back the curtain on so many aspects of our health that no one ever taught us in an easy to understand, relatable way. When it comes to health and weight loss, if you’ve tried everything and failed or the things you’ve tried over and over again don’t work anymore, or never really stuck, Ruth shares her knowledge of the things that actually do. A must listen if you’re midlife and finally ready to do what really works.

Eliza82@It all makes so much sense now!As a woman in her 40’s I so appreciate Ruth sharing her knowledge of her science based research geared specifically to women just like me. It’s motivational and inspiring. I’ve learned so much! My favorite episode is The Science of Sugar Addiction

another.disapointed.customer6 weeks of vacation!? Moderate keto?I was initially interested to hear what she said since a lot of the basics I listened to the podcast I’ve agreed with. I listened to her time- limited sales pitch in her free video and I’m shocked that they would charge $600 just for support to help someone with a “ramp” program to go on and off of keto, but was also equally shocked when she mentioned being on vacation for six weeks and eating out the entire time! That comment alone was shocking to me since it showed what a different life she must be living and it makes me wonder how out of touch the pricing and everything else is. I was really hopeful that this was something besides a moderate version of keto- which I’ve seen other people say as well, but hopefully this support group helps people who are very overweight, but again the fact that she would be honest enough to talk about eating out and being on vacation for six weeks when so many people are financially struggling seemed extremely out of touch and makes me wonder what else is out of touch as well! I also wonder what kind of support group she had since she kept talking about reading books and doing the research and going through it all and find it a little bit ironic potentially that she’s selling a program saying it can’t be done or it’s hard to be done by yourself? Maybe she mentions this later in the program and I haven’t gotten to it yet, but that’s something that definitely stuck out as well! Was optimistic this was more than just a way for her family to make money and take more long vacations. Somewhat disappointing :(

AshleyBOrlandoJust another keto podI really was excited to listen to this but quickly realized it’s just a keto diet dressed up as a healthy lifestyle. Lots of bad/buzzy fake science such as how seed oils prevent you from losing weight, that you can convert to being a “fat burner”, and of course the promise of not counting calories. Women of a certain age know even eating low carb you still have to monitor calorie intake to lose weight and keep it off.

Hbelle52You can do thisReal examples, easy explanation, doable life style. Do yourself a favor and listen to this is. There are so many other resources available. Ruth made the hardest thing I battle achieveable.

3 buoysBig fanI’ve followed you for years- I didn’t realize this podcast was out here. I’m glad to have you in my ear again and a special big THANK YOU for the big pharma and food episode. Thank you thank you! I’m a 52 and a life coach for moms and getting the message out on my platform yet your audience is a wee bit bigger (wink wink) and I LOVE that you’re doing what you do! Thank you!! 🙏🏽 Susie Pettit

Rudd 44Cherry picking info to present a narrativeConsider me UNSUBSCRIBED! The info on the pharmaceutical industry is totally cherry picked. As for the opioid crisses which is real, there is no mention of JACO and their role. For hospitals to meet credential requirements pain management was part of the criteria for qualification, trust me you wouldn’t want to be a patient in a non credentialed hospital. It became standard of care to ask patients to rate their pain and make the pain go away, unfortunately this in hind sight caused patients to be introduced a med that could be addictive and cause problems. Addiction is a medical disease, but the intent was not to get people addicted. As well obesity is a disease, don’t know a doctor in the world or drug company that says take ozempic and eat twinkies. It’s always a team approach. I do think that the telemedicine companies that advertise for these type of med is wrong. I could go on but you get the point…btw lookup the SUNSHINE ACT. You will see that perks to physicians have been eliminated or significantly decreased over the past 15+ years.

coder425How right you are! Big pharmaceutical and food industries!I hear you when you said you were afraid to say anything against them but it did need to be said out loud! Ever since I adopted a low carb / keto lifestyle, my gut has improved tremendously! Still need to get my husband on board. He is unwilling to give up this junk they are feeding us despite how he is seeing my improved health. You go girl! Great podcast!!

CeanheGreat info and inspirationI’ve been following Ruth for over a year with the Thinlicious program. It has worked well for me! But there are times that “life” gets in the way, and distractions can take me off course. Ruth always has an encouraging word and ways to get back on track. Not just ideology, but actual practical suggestions! Keep a notepad with you, because you’re going to want to remember what she and her guests talk about.

AniburHopefulSo much information! Presented in a cheerful upbeat manner. Very supportive and encouraging. Ruth speaks common sense. She dives into the “why” of weight loss and health as well as the “how.”

Unapologetically AnneDitch the carbs-self sabotageI started following Ruth with the Do it scared podcast. I trusted her training methods so when she founded Thinlicious I thought to myself….what do I have to lose except pounds! In one year I have lost 42 pounds and 24 inches! My blood work is AMAZING and I feel great. Today’s episode on self sabotage was so helpful. I have 30 more pounds to lose and I am quite frankly struggling. I feel stuck with losing more weight. This episode made me think how I may be self sabotaging. I took notes and have a plan now to not give up! Once again Ruth’s words of encouragement and wisdom were spot on. Thanks Ruth!!

DamayomanJust what I needed today! Thanks, Ruth, for today’s “How to Bounce Back” episode. I just got back from vacation and was already planning my bounce back into low carb today, but hearing your encouragement and tips is giving me even more motivation. I was fully thin adapted a year ago and reached my goal weight last October. And, just like you, I was worried about stepping on the scale this morning, but it wasn’t as bad as I expected from all of my indulgence during my vacation and our overall summer mode. I’ll make out my meal plan and grocery list and get immediately back on track today. 😊

Ditch the CarbsDitch the CarbsThis podcast has science, encouraging stories, and real people telling how the low carb lifestyle has worked for them. It’s a great podcast. I hadn’t been listening to podcasts before but this one I will not miss. I listen when I get home from work (I used to listen while driving but I can’t write down things I want to remember while driving) There is so much good information in these podcasts that it’s hard to remember everything that you learn. I love listening to these podcasts and will re-listen to them.

MEB GolfVery InformativeSo far this podcast has been very informative. I really related to the episode on blood sugar, having grown up in the 80’s and been told for so many years that fat was soooo bad for you. This podcast and Ruth’s program in general, are helping me to change my mindset toward food. So glad I started listening!

Momhatescats55Losing weight over 40I like this show, but Ruth takes too long to get to the content and the science. After 8 minutes she’s still in the introduction. Too much repetition, and it sounds like an infomercial. She’s super happy, cheerful, and relatable, which is refreshing! I just prefer less “we’ll talk about that in a minute….” And more, “let’s dive right in.” Still following for now.

KluelesskpFun and informative hostWhat a fun and informative podcast. Loving all the episodes so far. Keep it up.

curegirl77Great info given in easy to understand terms!I have been considering trying a low carb lifestyle for a while, but have been afraid to take the plunge -- I LOVE my carbs! This podcast has been great at explaining the science behind going low carb, and now I can see how my addiction to sugar/carbs is affecting not only my weight, but so many other parts of my health and life. I love how Ruth breaks down the info in a way that's easy for the average gal to understand, and as she says-- once you know this stuff, you can't unknow it! Every episode so far has been chock full of good nuggets. Can't wait for more!

Phams85A much needed podcastI started off on Thinlicious program when it started a year ago and have fallen off. I’m so happy that Ruth has started this podcast. Super excited to be in weekly contact multiple times.

Javachic54Love Ruth’s energy it’s so motivatingWhen Ruth talks you can really feel her passion. Her belief in the system really shines through. I started this program with the Summit in January. I was overwhelmed and gave up. Since then I’ve been on Ozempic (the current fad.) And gained the weight back plus some as Ruth does mention. I am so desperate to lose weight and found the quick fixes don’t work. Ruth, I’m back. I love your platform and all the help your offering. Your my last stop so I’m going to give it my all with your community support. Thank you for caring to help us struggling older ladies.

Pharmer PeteExcellent stuffThere is just something about listening to Ruth talk that reignites my desire to continue with and stick to my low carb journey. I can totally relate to what she is talking about and it makes me feel great about where I am going vs where I have been.
