As a nursing student , I am so happy to have stumbled across Nurse John. Although some will say this will scare me before even hitting the floor as a nurse , it doesn’t. Nurse John gives me hope that even though things will get messy or dramatic, I am not alone and I will get through it. I love this podcast and how Nurse Johnn advocates for self-care and mental health. I’m currently on LOA from my bedside nursing job and hearing the stories and tea helps me to feel that I’m not alone. I do love being a nurse and I feel blessed that I get to help others in their time of need. Nurse Johnn is so funny and it reminds me to laugh and never forget to be the silly girl I am, but to also be serious when it comes to taking care of me. We go through so many traumatic things as nurses, it’s easy to try and push our feelings aside and ignore it - but it’s better for us to actually deal with it and process it all. I’m so glad I found your podcast. This was everything that I needed in life. I’m a healthcare worker too and no one understands what I go through daily or just how much it can be chaotic and draining. I’m a Gerontologist and now work in hospice (which is also crazy and sad most days). I quit long term healthcare in 2022 and will never return! Thank you for getting healthcare workers true experiences and traumas into the public! Listening to every episode is literally my therapy and saves me every week! This is SO REAL on how the medical field is for nuses, cna, pca, techs, and the new podcast about CNA/PCA/TECH, i feel heard and better that now more people know what we go thru, it burns us out to a point where your mental health is a mess! But then you get out of it, but it’s HARD. this podcast should have way more recognition! He talks real stuff!

I had to quit my job, move in with my adopted grandparents, and live off the trust fund my mom left behind when she passed on in 2021 so I could go to school. The greatest part... I am a Nana to 4 1/2 granbabies (one is on the way). I always loved all of your videos, and then I found out you had a podcast. I loved the first season I mean the last three episodes were kind of super lame and not interesting. I actually didn't even finish listening to them because I was so bored, but now this season I'm not sure what you're doing or what you're going for with the guest but I'm pretty sure you lost a lot of because I won't even listen to it anymore and you lost a follower. I normally do not leave reviews but because of how disappointing this was going from your favorite show waiting for it weekly to listening to it and being so disappointed that it's nothing like the previous episodes you're going in a whole different direction and I'm not sure anybody would enjoy it so maybe go back to your old contactif you want to keep your followers

I love this podcast and nurse John. I've never listened to podcasts before but this one grabbed my attention because you get everything from nurse John. It's real, it's funny, it's emotional, uplifting and sooooo relatable. Even though I am not a nurse this podcast is relatable as if you have a bestie telling you the tea or helping you through your problems and makes you feel that you will be ok when you're going through it. That's why he calls us bestie! I love his introductions and how he greets everyone at the beginning of each episode. Especially when he says things like "I hope you're doing ok and if not that's ok too because everyone has those days and your day will come." It really makes me content and gives me hope everything will fall into place in life. When I'm feeling down I put on the podcasts that uplift me and make me smile and laugh. I’m going to be starting nursing school on Jan and it gave some good tips and I loved when you said not to be obsessive with your grades because everyone is going to be winning the same amount of money; as a person that is always worried with getting straight As this phrase is going to live in my head for the next 2 years and half so that I won’t be obsessive!!! Been following Nurse John since I first saw his reels on IG a couple years ago… Happy when I saw he had a podcast, he does not disappoint… Always listen to his podcast when I’m at work charting…

When he said this was a therapy podcast, he was soooo right! Not only is his voice soothing, he has the most warm disposition. Nurse John makes me feel warm inside like a cup of hot tea on a snowy winters day. Plus he has a lot of wonderful energy and his dance moves are entertaining to say the least. He makes fantastic content, both the podcast and the skits he does for YouTube Shorts (and I’m sure Tiktok, I don’t use it). Just an all around cool person who I want to support. My broke a$& can’t afford his $75 hoodie (that’s ADORABLE!) so instead I’ll just give a 5 star ⭐️ Love you to whoever’s reading this! Nurse Johnn, thank you for talking about the REAL & IMPORTANT issues that nurses and healthcare workers face. It took me working in the field as a CNA & Phlebotomist and getting kicked out of my nursing school for, “failing to use the resources” when I was so depressed I couldn’t get out of bed, to figure out what you are brave enough to say. The system wasn’t built to support the staff; and I am so, so grateful that I’m not the only one who wants to speak out for our sisters & brothers in scrubs ✊
