TtjjhgttLove the workGreat to hear Tim on DLS and finding this great pod

Miles of SummerNo question that Jeff is Tim’s sonLong time fan of Tim, practically grew up on Tim appearing on ESPN. Didn’t know Tim had a podcast until today and truly enjoyed it. Especially that he’s doing this with his son which shows how much baseball can connect generations. Never heard Jeff’s voice until pressing play and must admit that his voice should be used as an example of the power of genetics. Keep on keeping on Kurkjian’s Great show

DDD@Bovine9Laugh or Cry - Is this a great pod or what.I stumbled into this pod this winter and sad I didn’t know Tim had his own pod having thoroughly enjoyed him on Buster’s. It’s been a blast catching up and I’m getting more miles in walking as I can’t stop listening until they finish. With his son Jeff , they make great partners and I feel part of the family. Sometimes I am laughing so hard I need to stop walking. Other times, it is very emotional bringing a tear or two to my eyes. Enjoy, I know I will.

Lolo13419BEST GUESTS on this podcast!!Huge names, great stories, filled with so many interesting facts I’d never hear anyplace else!! It’s all here! I love hearing the personal stories of the guests and what else they do in their lives. I’m not a fan of AVirk but I skipped that episode anyway. What a very special relationship Tim and Jeff have. Heartwarming and genuine. 99.9 % fantastic!!

Peter GuillamNepotism stains…America, Tim. See John P. Normanson, Joe Buck, Jared Kushner, Don Jr. and Eric, and Francesca Eastwood. The only question your punk should be asking is, “Do you want fries with that Big Mac, ma’am?”

61DrewTim is a national treasureTim’s enthusiasm for baseball, and really life, makes him my favorite baseball/commentator/podcast/person. add in his son Jeff and this is always a great listen.

Scrambled EggletonYes, it is a great game!I have always loved hearing Tim’s voice calling any game, and his appearances on the Le Bastard Show with Stu Gotz are always great. This is a great podcast, and hearing this father and son duo talking about something they share a love for is priceless. My love for baseball started with my Dad, who was turned onto the game by his Dad. My Grandpa, Don Eggleton, was a pitcher during his high school career( he pitched a no hitter his senior year) and he played for the US Navy during the Korean War(he served on the USS New Jersey.) After the war, he was hired by the Oneonta Yankees to pitch against their lineup during batting practice. He was paid $20 a practice, and he always said that it was the easiest money he ever made. So the story goes, a couple of scouts came to check him out, but they said that he threw too much with his shoulder, and he would throw his arm out in the first season. He didn’t care, though. He was happy taking their money to throw gas against the team.

jpkurkjianA Dream Come TrueI'm not sure if you're allowed to rate and review your own show but I just have to say that this is the most fun I've had broadcasting in my career. Working with my dad is a dream come true. Thank you all for listening!

Philly ParmTim’s AdmissionTim admits that he would immediately leave his family and dissolve into pick-up basketball lore if he could never miss a basketball shot. Classic Tim!

Rich HollUnabashed fanSons & Fathers. Smart & Funny. This podcast makes me want to do a podcast. I remember talking to Tim years ago in the Rays clubhouse about his son, Jeff, because Jeff and I are both Syracuse grads. So heartwarming to see their relationship result in this.

outofmarketpodcastlistenerFIVE STARS, but…Tim is fantastic. His enthusiasm is appreciated by listeners. His stories and facts are great. Jeff is likable and keeps things moving. I look forward to each Tuesday. Now to be the bad guy. Tim repeats his stories. Not sure he realizes this. Michael Cuddyer’s magic tricks, Carlos Lee wearing his birthday on the back of his jersey, the guy that came up to him at a cocktail party with the trivia question about 40 homer hitters with 4 letters or less in their last name, etc. if you listen to one podcast you’ll love it. If you listen to all of them you’ll see that certain names, phrases, etc trip a breaker in his memory bank and he pulls out one of his greatest hits. Like a sports talk host that insists on playing the Jim Mora bite whenever the word “playoffs” is mentioned or the Iverson bite each time “practice” comes up in conversation. I’ve read Tim’s books, which are excellent, so I’ve experienced the stories this way as well so this probably plays into it. Still…5 Stars!

Solojazz_My favorite baseball podTim Kirkjian is a national treasure. His deep, authentic love for all of baseball oddities really comes through in this podcast. Can’t help myself from smiling as Tim talks about Willie Mays not recognizing Bob Gibson wearing his glasses. The chemistry between father son is the cherry on top. Thanks for all you do.

Artie J.Great Show!Hi Tim and Jeff. Love the show and all the segments you have. Brings back memories of when baseball was more meaningful to me when I was a kid. Coincidentally my dad, Jack and I are going to Cooperstown for the very first time on his 91st birthday in two weeks. Better late than never. (Any suggestions of can’t miss things at the HOF?) Keep up the great work! Rob Dundon
