Mr. Drawer PullInsightful and funStacie and Mike are more than a pleasure to listen to week after week, but they have made me consider Twin Peaks in a new light. I really appreciate their intelligent insight, and their humor!

LazarusQDougieI am just so glad to have the opportunity to listen to someone talk about DOUGIE. Y’all are fantastic, give this a listen if you’re a fan of Twin Peaks for sure.

ThruTheBellJarPerfect Companion for a Twin Peaks RewatchI decided to do another Twin Peaks rewatch in the wake of David Lynch’s death and this podcast has been a refreshing accompaniment for me. I love getting the perspective of both a longtime fan and a Twin Peaks newbie. I find both Mike and Stacie to be charming and engaging as hosts.

RepairerOfReputationsMy Favorite Twin Peaks PodcastDon’t get me wrong, check out all the podcasts that do interviews with cast and crew, but this podcast is so fun and insightful, it’s by far my favorite. I think what strikes me the most is how open-minded and curious Stacie is. Its nice to hear someone’s take on Twin Peaks where they aren’t wedded to a certain interpretation. It’s nice to see them explore different perspectives and even when they’re critical of an episode or of Lynch himself, they’ve at least tried to give it a good faith read. There’s something so cool about hearing Stacie’s skepticism of an episode transform into admiration over the course of analyzing it. I suppose that’s another aspect, rather than just hearing some friends recapping an episode, there’s a real attempt at understanding it in the context of everything else. One of my pet peeves is how superficial a lot of the analysis on podcasts can be. It’s often: “here is what my politics has to say about the subject being portrayed” rather than an attempt to engage with whether how/why something is being represented that way. It feels like they genuinely both love the material, and assume that even if it fails that it’s going for something and I think they’re humble enough to separate their immediate reaction from the actual quality of the art. Also, it just seems like they’re having fun talking about Twin Peaks. I love all the goofy references and jokes. TL;DR it’s a podcast by people that are operating in the spirit of the show they’re discussing.

ChelephantUnusually good podcastEven if this weren’t a Twin Peaks podcast and I wasn’t a huge Twin Peaks and David Lynch fan, these people are just extremely good at podcasting, and I would probably listen to them regardless of the topic. It’s so hard to find a genuinely good podcast, and thanks to the content and host personalities of this one, I’ve been absolutely inhaling it.

gh3rzogMore dreaminess pleaseI love Stacy’s insights as a new fan, but there is a hesitancy between the hosts to speculate on the show’s supernatural themes and the unexplained details that make the series so interesting. They have great discussions about character dynamics and plot, but I wish they would extend that same enthusiasm to the weird stuff. We know there’s no “correct” set of answers to explain it all, but I’d still like to hear more of their thoughts on how the pieces (The Red Room, the Lodges, garmonbozia, the ring, etc.) could fit together with the more grounded side of Twin Peaks. P.S. Phillip Gerard said “Bob” not “Mom”

NeonLorraine🪵What an absolute delight to follow along with the Mike and Stacie, horror-media icons each in their own right, as they investigate a magic log straight to that MillStorylineInTheSky. It’s not all coffee and cherry pie…it’s also party city wigs in 2.0! So much more to see and notice with this fresh take on a rewatch podcast. Justice for Josie! Bonus: Mike doing an impression of James😂

Ktj913Delightful nostalgia!Well, I love anything that Mike Munster does, but for him and Stacie to review and recap every episode of Twin Peaks ever is pretty much my dream combination! It has been so fun to go back and watch episodes. I’ve seen dozens of times but listening to their spin on it, and hearing Stacie’s first time reactions is just such a joy! I began rewatching The Return for the first time when the genius DL passed, and I was so excited to remember that this podcast was running! Cannot wait till they begin diving into The Return- can’t wait to hear Stacie’s thoughts!! Thank you guys for making this pod! Love every minute! PS MIKE!! Your ability to be vague and never spoil, yet still have such great discourse has AMAZED me! Well done!

KcorstelA welcome addition to the TP legacyGreat show. Mike and Stacie are two of my favorite podcasters and hearing them together going through Twin Peaks so thoroughly is a delight. They’re having a ton of fun with the show and it definitely rubs off.

Loki1981A true treatI haven’t revisited Twin Peaks for years, but after listening to the first few episodes, their joy and love for this show renewed my interest, so I’ve ordered the box set so I can start rewatching as I listen. Mike and Stacie are wonderful. They appreciate the show and the work of those involved, and they can discuss flaws in the show in a way that doesn’t demean the work of those involved or the fans who love it. I’ll take these two doing a rewatch of about any TV series—such a joy to get to hear them chat.
-
darlingnicknameThis is the one!My third twin peaks rewatch podcast (im a bit obsess) and this is by far my favorite! Mike and Stacie have such a fun dynamic and they both get me excited and laughing with their enthusiasm. Absolutely love these two and their conversations about my favorite show.
-
MXV31Better than doughnuts and hot coffeeI love this podcast. Mike is as insightful as he is on the EOH main feed and Stacie is perhaps the funniest podcast host on the planet. Listening to this podcast is like watching the show for the first time.
-
thiswillkillthatTWIN PEAKS fun!I’ve watched Twin Peaks more times than I can count and it’s absolutely fun to listen to this podcast because it’s through the lens of both Twin Peaks newbie and a Twin Peaks fan like myself. I really enjoy hearing somebody watching it for the first time. Also, their chemistry is quite funny. This is a good one!

Tony from ChicagoMike & Stacie have made Mondays something I actually can’t wait for!As a long-time listener and Patreon of EoH (my favorite podcast!) and equally long-time fan of Stacie Ponder’s writing in Final Girl and in Rue Morgue Magazine (and I re-listen to Gaylords of Darkness!), when I learned that Mike and Stacie were teaming up to review a show I was obsessed with back in the day, new life was breathed into my cold, dead heart (I know, so dramatic). This pair bring such joy, humor, and attention to detail to this absurd, equally thrilling and frustrating show. I couldn’t recommend this pod enough. I low-key wish we received another season of Twin Peaks, if for no other reason than to keep this pod going even longer. Thank you both for the gifts to our ears every week!
-
Cyn-MCome for the Peaks, stay for the laughsMike and Stacie have such a fun dynamic. They do a great job of talking through each episode in a thoughtful yet hilarious way. These episodes are a highlight of my week!

BreebitI demandIf the Fire Walk With Me episode isn’t 4 hours long I’m going to have a fit. I NEED EVERY MOMENT OF REACTION.
-
Ivans_NightmareI look forward to the new episode every weekAs a huge fan of Mike’s other podcast, The Evolution of Horror, as well as Twin Peaks, I was very excited when this podcast was announced. It has more than lived up to my lofty expectations! Mike is easily my favorite podcast host, and Stacie is a great partner for the show. They are both funny, insightful, and the production is top-notch. If you’re interested in film/television or Twin Peaks, then this podcast is required listening!

arosep212121Funny and smart, new favorite podcastThe premise for the Twin Peaks rewatch is wonderful. Every episode I rewatch, I think “I can’t WAIT to hear Stacie’s reaction to -fill in the blank-“ The podcast has made me rewatch but not binge the episodes, so I’ve noticed all sorts of bizarre little things I hadn’t previously. That said, and as much as I am loving this ride, I really cannot wait to hear what Stacie’s opinion is when we hit The Return. Something to look forward to!
-
450923Dynamic Duo!Stacie and Mike are hilarious together. Please find another series to do after Twin Peaks is finished so we can get more of you two indefinitely! X-Files?
-
Renee DoddStacie in mah earholes! 👍🏻I love having a reason to watch this awesome show that I missed the first time around - and that reason is Stacie Ponder! So smart and so funny! And Mike Muncer being her partner in crime for the podcast is an awesome bonus!
-
gdsE1Simply Delightful!I am so enjoying Stacie’s reactions and Mike is expert at no spoilers. I am all caught up and cannot wait for the next episode!! I’ve seen all of “canon” Twin Peaks dozens of times, and am particular about who I listen to talking about it. Sooo fun! Love this podcast!!!

Cha ChiCame for the Woman of 1000 Voices…Stayed for Mike’s David Lynch impressions. Love Mike’s knowledge on background and production, and Stacie levitating over Piper Laurie and Joan Chen.
-
Owl CaveUnbelievableI truly love this podcast. It’s a must for any Twin Peaks fan.
-
Oc1138Great hosts build enthusiasmMike and Stacie are a great pair for this episodic rewatch of Twin Peaks. While not down on it, Stacie provides fresh eyes which together with Mike’s stanning make me enjoy the show even more. Great way to start filling the David Lynch sized hole in my viewing.

Mony_AtlLet’s All Go to the RoadhouseI’m a huge fan of Twin Peaks! I was a high schooler when the show came out. I fell in love with the everything about the show. I had the soundtrack on cassette…LOL I have even been to Snoqualmie Falls and visited many of the iconic locations used in the show. I was so excited when I came across this podcast and Mike and Stacey are so much fun to listen to. I went on this journey with a friend of mine about a year ago. I love David Lynch and am a Twin Peaks superman and he had never seen it. It is so great listening to how you both move through the episodes and it is so much fun to hear Stacey’s first impressions and Mike’s excitement. I’m so excited to go on this journey with you. It makes me want to watch it again. Maybe one day we can have a Bookhouse Boys meeting at the Roadhouse and discuss, until then just remember “the owls are not what they seem”

st,loisrobWowThis podcast is delight. It is pleasant mix of viewers from a first time watcher, and seasoned hard bitten professional. I first watched Twin Peaks when I was in high school, and I just remember the very broad strokes of it. Having two people go over each episode , scrutinizing each scene is such a radically different experience and I love it. Having Stacie as the first time viewer really takes me back to how i felt watching it way back when, sans tv recorder and streaming. Collecting clues… etc. i even read that very unhelpful book, the Laura Palmer Diary - I was that kind. I like having to wait so long between episodes - binge watching ruined the world. Keep this up.
-
AbominominousNow this is Podcasting! So happy to see the two best in the biz just chatting up about transcendental meditation.
-
BobbyB09Simply the BestSo excited to see an amazing show covered by two great people! The only thing that disappoints me is the fact that I know it has to end at some point!
-
Jason Adams XI’m ‘owling with laughterLoving Mike & Stacie’s weekly rewatch/watch of Twin Peaks so much! Hearing Stacie’s spoiler-free newbie predictions are a hoot — it’s like thirty years of being steeped in this series is blown away and I can see it with fresh eyes. Joan Chen 4eva

Mary Rawlings-SpencerNostalgia tingleListening with eagerness every week. I grew up in western Washington State and this series like nothing else captures some of its strange damp drizzly otherworldliness. There’s a reason Washington is the Land of Cryptids and Serial Killers. I was a sophomore in high school when this came out and I have such fond memories of watching it with bated breath with my mom who was an even bigger fan. No crisis was allowed to impinge on Twin Peaks time. At an age when teenage daughters and their mothers often have conflicts Twin Peaks brought us together and gave us something to pick over at the dinner table other than my life choices. Mom had to get her cable service expanded so she could watch the Return but she had to have it. I’m hoping that I can convince her to make this her first podcast, so we can dish together all over again. Thanks, Mike and Stacie!

la divina celloThank you Mike and Stacie!Twin Peaks fan here- I'm thrilled by the opportunity to rewatch the entire show and movie and hearing your wonderful takes on it, from an expert and a newbie. So many related movie references and recommendations mixed in, too. I'm already finding it hard to keep to one episode a week to keep pace with you but I'll try! Thank you both!!🌲🌲🥧☕️🦉🪵

Kurupt007sniev ym ni ti tuPI love Mike’s EoH podcast and I’m obsessed with Twin Peaks so let’s just get it on already! Tell Stacie she better not even look at Twin Peaks GIFs in the comments if she wants to avoid the spoilers! See you in 25 years…

-
Frankwest23Here we go!I’m the same as Stacie! Not having seen Twin Peaks is one of my darkest secrets among cinephile friends. “It will be either the longest feeling or the shortest podcast” sums it up! Regardless I know Mike & Stacie will make me an absolute expert. Cant wait!
-
Nic ByronExcellent!Today started out not so great. I was feeling the way that Jennifer Jason Leigh looks in every movie she’s ever been in. Then I found out that Mike Muncer and Stacie Ponder had joined forces to create a Twin Peaks rewatch podcast. That perked me right up! I just listened to their first episode and my day/mood has immediately improved. Thank you both for that ☺️. I’m excited to hear your thoughts and insights in future episodes while you two go on the fun, dark and crazy ride that is Twin Peaks.
-
