    Liberal-Leaning Gun Owner
For years I’ve stomached various political shots taken at liberals from this show’s content creators & to be fair other similar shows as well… it’s really a shame because liberal gun owners do in-fact exist, so I’m not sure why more gun-related podcasters & shows don’t just scrap the political talk altogether if unable to hold-back on their often unrelated political gripes & biases. Is the goal to grow the gun enthusiast community as a whole, or just the Republicans who tote gats? C’mon guys think bigger picture & stop alienating fellow gun owners with the snide comments & so fourth. It’s all pretty tired & honestly just lazy at this point.

    Ammo sexual
So it’s 10 o’clock on Friday night and I’m working in a security guard shack with a security detail so attractive trailer pulls in wearing a gun T-shirt with different size rounds on it so I mentioned to him that I have a shirt just like that that says size does matter it goes from small as the biggest so he looked at me and said must be one off them ammo sexual?? so I replied yes yes I am. You must listen to Gun Talk radio. The only person I’ve heard ever heard. Say that was Tom Grisham and he replied. Yes I do you guys are everywhere.

    Great show!!!
It’s more like you are hanging out at the local GS than a radio show. I have this on the top of my downloads!! For the record, I think there needs to be a petition for Michelle to have her own show!

You know the uncle you are always happy to see?
Well, Tom and Crew are that side of the family. Cheerful and honest, knowledge is what you know, wisdom is what you do with it. Mr Grisham has not knowledge and the wisdom and ability to impart it. I’ve met him a couple times at SHOT. And I cherish those memories.

Leave the politics to other shows.

    Mix of topics
Gun owners and enthusiasts are really a big tent of people. Some of us are competition target shooters, others are hunters, some are collectors, many are just into personal protection. Virtually all of us are concerned with protecting our 2A rights others but many don’t want to dwell on it. Tom and the show do a great job of covering a myriad of topics that offer something for everybody but not too much of anything. Please don’t change anything about the show. Love it the way it is.

‘Nuff said. Radio show for Fudds.

    Typical Radio Show
I really do enjoy the amount of helpful technical information scattered about, but since it’s a radio show it’s full of ads and repeating the same generic talking points over and over and over. Not really that great as a podcast, there are a lot better ones.

I have enjoyed for 20 some years Gun Talk while I drive my big truck (Simi truck). First on the radio then on the XM Radio. Now better than ever and any time I want to listen to podcasts. I can listen to podcasts two weeks, months or years ago.

Always a good show and podcast. When you talk about the wonderful spring clip. We affectionally call them the “Jesus Clip”. For the reason when they release and fly away we say “Jesus”!!! Always enjoy the show. Especially the after show. Hey Jim, keep those chop sticks sharp so they don’t slip when you need’em too.

    Worst firearms podcast
Tom is a talking head for the firearms industry. He makes millions keeping gun owners scared. His whole show is one big commercial.
  • Pud Dad
    Excellent
Tom has a wonderfully effective, informative and easy listening style about him. Gun Talk is the best of the best with Tom and his guests. Thank you for all you do sir. If you’re not listening to Gun Talk today, you’re simply not informed of what you need to know. Think INTOT.

    What… the… F…
Why is it that the “good guy” with a gun is always the mass shooter that takes his own life? You rarely hear of a good guy taking out the shooter. Gun nuts are weirdos. Literally, they are weird.
  • Need smaller pants. ;)
    5 stars for message.
The good guy in Colorado was a hero. And he did save lives. Sadly, he was murdered by a poorly trained second cop. Lots of lessons there, don’t pick up the bad guy is gone, holster your own. Also for LE: think, think, think, they murdered a good guy. That cop was very poorly trained, but there’s a fix for that. Five stars on this episode.

This is one of the best podcasts of the firearms community. Great Host/Great selection of informative guests on topics that most people wouldn’t have thought about needing to know.

    Feeling Welcome In The Community
I, like many people this past year, am a new gun owner. I was so fortunate to discover the Gun Talk Podcasts. Not only is Tom a treasure trove of information, he is an excellent guide to a community that I was previously unaware of. Tom makes this new shooter feel welcome in my new home/family.
  • Zackally828
    Logical thoughts on the 2A
Tom is logical and thoughtful about how to approach all aspects of being a 2A supporter. He doesn’t rant and rave about he won’t comply and he’s gonna die fighting. We all know that the 2A is worth fighting for, but saying you’re gonna start dropping the “alphabet bois” when they come to your house is not helpful to the cause of saving the 2A. Tom is a boomer BUT he keeps up with the trends and innovations of the firearms industry, is he a high speed low drag tacticool operator? No but he’s been around a long time and has a wealth of knowledge. I appreciate Tom and what he does for the 2A community.

    Done with GunTalk
I have been listening to GunTalk for a while, but after the starting to listen to the new show in 2021, GunTalk has been deleted from my library. Tom’s came off with a holier than thou attitude and it just struck me wrong. Tom was talking to a caller about 2A activism and something along the lines that he is tired of hearing that people can’t make rallies and legislative sessions because they have to work. Then goes on to say, we all have jobs and that if you are not giving money to at least 6 2A organization and not going to these rallies and legislative sessions, you are not really a 2A activist… Well I got news for Mr. Gresham, not all of us have a radio show/Podcast with paid sponsors. Most of us have real jobs that we have to be at, if not we would not have a job. Tom was out of line with those comments and does not know all his listeners situations. I wish you all well, but I will NEVER listen to this show again.

    Great show, very informative
I live in liberal Massachusetts and I just got my LTC. Fortunately my town has a common sense chief of police and the process wasn't to difficult. As a first time gun owner I really enjoy listening to the show. I got some very good info about finding the right gun for me. I took my time by taking several guns on the range and I finally found the right one for me (Sig 320) Love the show and keep up the good work!!
  • ryan blackout
    Trump talk
Trump is also anti gun. Executive order on ban of bump stocks and take guns first and due process second. If you own guns and side with anti gun politicians then you are lost.

One of the best 2A Advocates
I have listened to GunTalk for about 8 years now. While I don’t catch every show, I’ve listened to most of them in that time. It’s a great resource for responsible firearm owners who are looking to keep themselves in the correct mindset, and up-to-date on various 2A issues concerning the news, legislation and yes, new products. Some have criticized the show as being a three-hour commercial (that’s only true during SHOT Show). While Tom usually has at least one dedicated segment to a commercial industry representative per week, he has not hesitated to hold them to account on-air if he suspected them of being misleading, unsafe or being anti-conducive to 2A advocacy. I can specifically recall Springfield, Remington and even the NRA itself being held to account by Tom on-air for various shortcomings. The show may not be as high-speed or “tacticool” as your average YouTube personality’s channel, but it has much more substance than most of those combined. The tone and pace remind me of the interactions I’ve had with the older generation, many of whom have sadly passed, and the show is a nice reminder of a culture I appreciate and don’t often get to engage with. Whether it is training, new firearm technologies, scenario evaluation, ammunition considerations, wing shooting, legislative history, current events or other items that become I.N.T.O.T. moments, Tom has covered it all – and what he doesn’t personally know he routinely gets guests who do. To me, that’s worth segments having the occasional ad placement. If you consider yourself a 2A proponent, then GunTalk should be on your list of subscriptions.

Highly recommended. Tom is a great person with the most important information.

This Asian gun owner is tuning out due to RACISM.
Tom seems to be ok as the elder statesman. This Ryan guy, who I’m assuming is directly related to Tom seems to be ok with cavalier racist remarks. I’m out. You should realize that in the battle for advocating for gun rights, you should really be careful in who you alienate.
