For 23 years now, DJ and Producer Lars Behrenroth has been recording mixes for his weekly Deep House Radio Show "Deeper Shades of House” featuring brand new soulful, afro, disco, techy and “chunky" Deep House tunes as well as House Music classics. This podcast features the first hour mix of each new show, where Lars does not only play the music, but give you information about artists, and labels alike so you can dig deeper and support those whose music you love. “One of the GreAt Ones”

I’ve heard of Lars back in 2001 my first trip to Frankfurt on United airlines where they let you hear xm radio back then. I was set on a trance to never look back. Until this day he keeps my journeys memorable. It’s funny cuz my kids when they hear the intro they go into a deep voice saying. “L A R S B E H R E N R O T H” Also a supporter for years. Great stuff if you are into House. He weaves a variety of flows within his sets. Also showcases other DJs which shows how humble he is and really into the music and the culture. Has track lists for your own research into other directons to pursue certain artists and labels and styles. I l am not into every facet and genre of House, but his flow and beats are usually right on in that band I like, and sometimes actually sublime.

90% of my podcast list is dsoh, Lars finds for us listeners the most fresh stuff and beautiful classics. DSOH brought me back to deep house as I felt it was dead but boy was I wrong!!

In it for the long run

I have lurked for some time on Mr. Behrenroth's podcast for the one fact is that he knows deep house; he is the expert. If there is anything that can be an example of how to do things right, it is his longevity. More than 500 podcasts?! Wow! I have never been in a position to contribute in the past (I feel rotten for not having done so), but my circumstances are changing, and Lars Behrenroth and Deeper Shades of House are one of the first I will happily support. All for good reason. Thank you, Mr. Behrenroth, for your commitment. Ten stars if I could.

Been in love with DSOH sense 2015

This podcast is my favorite out of all the other podcasts that are playing deep house on iTunes. DSOH has some of the most beautiful, diverse, and melodic sounds iv ever heard. Its always inspirational and authentic. It might sound like im exagerating but this is just how deeply i trully love deeper shades of house. It nevers ceases to blow my mind. Thanks for conituing this podcast with such love!
