Jon HenkeSometimes goodSometimes very good debates or discussions, with competent intellectuals on both sides. Sometimes the discussion meanders and the two sides just talk all around the issue instead of getting to the heart of the disagreement. And sometimes, too often, what I thought would be an interesting debate turns out to be very one-sided, with other sides either not given or given very little time. I enjoy hearing disagreements aired out. The shows that just evangelize are a waste of time.

Antonia357Fascinating!Justin Brierley is fantastic, and I always learn something from this podcast. Keep it up!

aboydjohnsonThanksI find this podcast so refreshing. Thank you.

aschmidty71Ruth Jackson a disappointmentI typically really like this show and would normally rate it high, but the latest episode where a Ruth Jackson hosted the topic, “Should Christians Vote for Trump”, I was completely mislead. The show didn’t talk about that. I have my concerns with Trump, but as a Christian I voted for him. The show didn’t talk about any of that. Instead , Ruth used it as a platform to politically debate his guest on topics that had NOTHING to do with Christianity. I don’t know the guest, but he made Ruth look shameful.

VeraciousGreyUnbelievably BiasedIt saddens me to write this review because I greatly enjoyed this podcast in the past. I want to be clear that my intention is not to complain about the absence of Justin; my intention is to call for the removal of Roger Bolton from Unbelievable Podcast. Roger has consistently shown ineptitude in moderating the show. I have tried listening to multiple episodes with him as the host, but each time he manages to give a terrible performance. Roger is biased, overly reactive, and clumsy in his approach. Roger should not be allowed within a 20-meter radius of any Premier Unbelievable microphones. To the management of Premier Unbelievable, please do not allow Roger or people like him to ruin this show, which had such a wonderful reputation for allowing Christian and secular guests to discuss important topics in a respectful and tactful manner.”

This KenPromotes to much of the leftist agendaThe show seems more interested in promoting the leftist agenda than in trying to understand what God wants.
-
Trail lustShow not the same!Show has changed since Justin is not host. I’ve listened for years but now skip almost all episodes. I guess it’s time to stop listening. Go back and relisten to older episodes.

Thisnicknameistaken-Love this podcastAsking and answering the tough questions, the articulate and respectful discussion… 5 stars all the way.

MyLordandMyGodEvil GodVince - I would rather you were participating in this - rather than moderating. My understanding is this was a debate about Evil God between two philosophers of which neither were believers. Whaaattt???? I may be a simpleton, but: 1) Good can exist without Evil, but Evil cannot exist without Good. So if we are talking monotheism, can it not be argued that what Evil God did would be labelled Good? 2). I am confused. What standard are we using to determine Evil? If God described is a mixture of Good and Evil, than He is not perfect and not a God I want to worship. 3) In Christianity - God did not discover or make up good (morality) - He just was Good and revealed His nature. So for Evil God to teach morality does not make sense as he would be inventing it rather than being it. 4). It sounds like Steve was applying his reasoning and his standards of good to his arguments. Is not that playing God? To the last point in Proverbs, Job, and Paul’s writings - who is he to question God - playing the fool, and God laughs at his logic and reasoning. Unbelievers will never get it, because by turning their back to God everything must make sense with God not in the picture.

Witte222This is not the podcast for Bible believing ChristiansThis podcast is laughable. If you want to be a Biblical Christian, this is not for you. Echo chamber, MAGA in disguise, poorly informed. When Scripture was referenced, it didn’t line up with how they were using it. Very dangerous when you make the Bible say things it isn’t. And pretty sure Jesus had serious warnings about that. The experts and professionals they brought on were clearly not well-informed on the subjects they spoke on.

Dr. BuchananE. George v J. McLatchie(Now Dr.) McLatchie ‘busted’ his debate opponent decisively. Mr. George (preferring a pseudonym so as to not put off consumers of faith who might buy his book) insisted on keeping the debate at a grade school level. His chief tactic seemed to be distraction and interruption when Dr. McLatchie approached a strong point of refutation or analysis of George’s position. The “science can explain everything” argument is not just dead but enjoys a regularly-recurring embarrassment.

andrea algerThis podcast is great!I love all the discussions and debates between Christians and agnostics/atheists. It is good to hear a different perspective and to understand where non-Christians are coming from. And I have learned so much about Christian history and apologetics in general. Love it!
-
socialbugI listened to only one episode….….and it was very helpful to turn the cogs and wheels. I will plan to listen to more. Thank you for this ministry.

Mordrake livesTo echo a few other reviews…I used to love this podcast/show, always excited to get to Friday and see what is next. Pre 2022 seemed to have much more substance and discussion with opposing views and very engaging; now it appears to be (almost exclusively) for spiritual listeners and often with guests that are not there to challenge and debate. I wish the best for the show and new host, but cannot recommend the show in its current form.
-
RodgerDodgersExcellentExcellent way to hear some the brightest minds discussing the topics we as humans truly desire to understand.
-
64SquishyOrangesGreat way to understand both sides of pretty much any topic!Justin was such an amazing host, with an incredible ability to listen to and understand both sides of an enormous range of challenging topics. His voice will be missed but I’m confident Unbelievable will continue to be an important source of difficult conversations
-
Tim_MNGreat listeningJust discovered this fabulous podcast. Excellent guests who debate and disagree with mutual respect.
-
ZinniapowerKrause and John LennoxMr Lawrence Krause is a difficult person to listen to because he seems hostile from the very beginning. He constantly interrupts and then when he does speak his responses are incoherent and full of hubris. His issue is not about science but is more about disproving God and his atheism is really his religion. He is obnoxious but mr Lennox did a remarkable job keeping his cool against this obnoxious and nonsensical human. I’m not sure why he gets a repeat invitation… ??

jkb211top rate analysesfascinating discussions–spiritually and intellectually illuminating

saperloLosing its wayThis show has been very helpful and challenging over the years (and I’ve listened to almost all of them). Now it seems that the dreaded “woke” culture is here too, telling us why all we believe is wrong and emphasizing leftist culture wars narratives. That is the new and false religion. The Tim Keller podcast is just awful because of this I’ve unsubscribed and gone to pastures new
-
CSH46Bad EvangelicalsLet’s praise Tim Keller for helping us see how bad evangelicals behave, while we have it right. If you were trying not to be political you failed. It was hard not to think that you have just trashed a large part of the church with no evidence or thoughtful suggestions. Your guests literally jabbed at part of the body without a hearing from another point of view. I think you have done a disservice to Mr. Keller. Yet the host just gushed that it was so amazing.
-
PazzocazzoNice DESIGNLet’s see? 6 million people were exterminated during WWII. In 2004, 277000 plus thousand people died from a tsunami. NICE DESIGN! Atheists 1 Christians 0
-
Dubbz1Click bait titles….I listened to a classic replay of Greg Koukl getting “grilled” by skeptics. These skeptics sounded like they had no idea what they were talking about and the questions were shallow and hard as cotton candy.
-
Twhit126758One of the bestWithout a doubt one of the best podcasts that gets Christians and non-Christians together in helpful discussion. Great for skeptics, thinkers, and believers (and everyone in between) alike!

GrantmertMore ContentPlease more content and less ads and prep talk etc
-
kplspInteresting and balancedSome really interesting information, and both sides of an issue are very carefully allowed to speak and address the topics! I really love this podcast.

AnnieFocusdSo grateful!!Just amazing and I’m wildly grateful for these resources.

@AWVA Steady Diet!If you crave meaningful dialogue and friendly debate on all matters concerning Christian apologetics, add and bookmark this podcast. What Justin Brierley delivers is content that will make you a wiser, more conscious, and hopefully more compassionate Christian. What he does not offer is an echo chamber for any of the myriad theological camps. Personally, what’s been most helpful is truly hearing from so many perspectives — no propaganda, just pure, authentic and fair dialogue on topics of science, faith, religion, and culture. Just skim a few episodes to hear what you’ve been missing.
-
DMLaRockRefreshing!I’ve been listening to this show for about 5 years now. Look forward to it every week. This is the kind of discourse our world needs more than ever. Difficult subjects. Patient & intelligent guests. Superior host. Kudos to Brierley and team!
-
uk health employeeGood contentA lot of thought provoking, and uncomfortable conversations. Some episodes I enjoy far more than others, but ultimate need more spaces like this to discuss tough conversations respectfully. Love what this show is about, and the kinds of conversations it hosts
-
cole LinscheidDo not listen to this if you are looking for a podcast that teaches the Bible.Derwin Gray was the guest that made me realize this shouldn’t be called a Christian podcast in the sense of being based off scripture
-
eyeconoclasticHas become just another Christian propaganda showThis used to be a great show that featured vigorous discussions between Christians and non-Christians. That changed a couple of years ago and the show is now almost all Christian apologetics and propaganda. It’s unfortunate because it used to be unique and thought-provoking.

Curiousagain22Dawkins is basically saying…if you’re a fish you can only look in the ocean for all the answers to your life questions. You can’t consider the sky or land at all, cause you as a fish, can’t perceive of sky or land.
-
Michael from LeedsUghDefense of superstitious nonsense. I guess believing is easy but thinking is hard for religious morons.
-
Monkeyhater10000Episode 327Living in the USA, it freaks me out how much control the governments in other countries want over people’s religious life. Jayne seems to have a problem with the term, ‘discussion’. Anyone else want to shove a pair of socks in her mouth? (Sorry) anyway I generally like the show, it usually gives me good info to think about.

CMac2834Confessions of an “Unbelievable?” AddictListened to hundreds of episodes to this point. Wonderful stuff
-
KsschwarzkopfExcellent PodcastI love a good debate between folks with opposing views, and this podcast does not disappoint. I appreciate the professionalism and friendliness with which most guests approach their “opponents” and Justin does a stellar job of guiding the discussion when things start to go awry. Lots of good information for Christians, agnostics, atheists and other adherents of different religious views. This podcast has strengthened my faith in Christ, while helping to see the perspectives of those with differing views.
-
interestingstephenUnbelievably ExcellentI have listened to this show for about 10 years now. It is only getting better! Justin does a great job of moderating conversations surrounding important questions. Keep up the good work!
-
Deetyxzs657This Podcast Is An InspirationJustin is awesome! I love all the topics and the way he leads the conversations. Such an encouraging and impactful ministry. May God continue to bless and keep you.

Ross in New HartfordInsight and GrowthDear Justin, Thank you for the civil conversations that provide great insight as well as challenge assumptions. Thank you!! Great podcast! Ross
-
nohramblAs it should beJustin’s approach is the personification of the gentleness and respect we are called to show when talking with every person and addressing every subject. It takes real humility to do that. Like Truth is not afraid. Hats off!
-
Hanover-5Valuable podcast!Love listening to this podcast! My husband and I found it during the pandemic and the rich discussions have been such a blessing in our lives. Thank you!
-
eLow8In AbortionTo the pro-choice lady, where is God in the whole “my body, my choice” stance that you are taking? Seriously.... you’re unbelievable! Shame!
-
ttttpadtoleAppreciate the respectful dialogueI so appreciate the gracious and respectful approach to complex issues that believers face daily. Rare and so helpful.

Mt.6:24Jesus’ most neglected teachings...More people & podcasts are talking these days about the things Jesus taught (in the 4 gospels), but there are a few of his teachings that almost never get serious coverage. Several references (EXCLUDING the “rich young ruler”) are made in Luke about selling all of one’s possessions & giving to the poor and then this teaching is shown to be taken seriously by the time we get to the book of Acts (end of chapters 2 & 4). Another powerful & often neglected paradigm-changing (IF taken at face value) teaching of Jesus is found in Mt. 6:24; Lk. 16:13-14). This has been called the “Two Masters teaching”, one being God/Love and the other/opposite one being money. Take a leap of faith and dive deep into these teachings! ✌🏼
-
Baxter141DisappointingListen to the Mark Driscoll classic and the host was exposed on all levels and ignores what the Bible says based on his pop culture feelings. He can’t name a single young British teacher, but doesn’t see the issue there. Even with his own wife’s church converting a “couple” young men Imagine a football team with a man scoring 2000 goals a season and the other team that has female captain who’s scored 2 goals for her entire career and still thinking they are equally valid and effective.
-
Glenney11Adam & eveI have listened for a long time. Your pendulum has tilted in the direction off of scripture and been enticed by weak philosophy. Your continued platforming of big names shows your man centered bias over clear Scripture. Your show is now lifts man’s intellect in opposition over God’s direct revelation. Your latest episode has lost my viewership. Sad

Tx078459Excellent Topics, Moderator and GuestsI am not a believer and yet I love this podcast. Each episode rewards the listener with a healthy serving of intelligent, civil discourse. Justin is a terrific moderator and his guests offer well reasoned and clearly articulated arguments for their position, while maintaining respect for their opponent. They may disagree, sometimes vigorously, but are almost never disagreeable. This is a true gem of a podcast for believers and non-believers alike.
