What a great church and ministry. The teachings are biblically sound!

I live in Houston Texas and six years ago I came across Church of The Highlands on a pod cast application that our home church suggested while walking 5 miles one morning. Ever since then, I listen to Church Of The Highlands new and old messages ever day. Pastor Chris’s (PC) messages has changed me and my husband’s life. Every Sunday we listen to the live service at home in Houston Texas and hope to visit the church in Alabama soon.

The experience at Highlands is like none other. The Holy Spirit duels in there.

I’m encouraged after listening to each and every message, often multiple times. But why limit the number of episodes on this platform? I know the messages are available on the church website but having messages saved in Podcasts makes it so easy to go back and listen to them. Just a thought!

I am convicted and filled after listening!

I grew up in Alabama and even attended a few services before I moved. Finally I stumbled onto this podcast, I believe God led me here. Pastor Chris speaks to my heart every single time he talks, the Lord moves so powerfully though him. I can feel God’s presence all around me, all the way in Minnesota. I thank God for these podcasts, because they turn my whole day around. I cannot have a bad day with God on my side!

This series on Joy has been so good. I heard this in church, but wanted to come listen again. COTH is much more than a feel good church. The small groups are incredible, and Pastor Chris Hodges is truly a servant of the Lord. Praying over this church, their staff and members!

I’m originally from Alabama but moved to NYC several years ago. Church is done a little differently here and i don’t always have access to spiritual resources. This has been such a life-changer for me and I’m so appreciative to pastor Chris and the gang at COTH. Thank you all!

Phenomenal teachings from every pastor. Pastor Chris is amazing and truly anointed. Pastor Dino is a hoot to listen too as well and every pastor, every podcast has so much Godly wisdom to share. My family has grown in our relationship with Christ under COTH teachings. The leadership provided by the COTH’s 21 days of prayer and fasting has revolutionized my spiritual walk and I’ve had breakthrough after breakthrough since I’ve implemented the teachings of this church. My relationship with Christ has never been stronger. I’ve listened to every podcast this church has provided and I’m making my way through the mid-week services too. I’d say this is a church marked by Seeker-Sensitive philosophies that seriously lacks in depth and accuracy of teaching. No offense to the Highlands, but I could not in good conscience recommend this church to anybody who was looking for a church that makes every effort to follow the prescribed methods of the church in form and function. While the highlands does well in its zeal, kindness, and service, it does not equip the saints to rightly handle the word and therefore creates a congregation deficient in it’s ability to share the gospel. No offense.

God used Pastor Chris (PC) & his team to truly change my life! He is the best pastor I’ve ever encountered because of the genuine way I can sense God’s almighty presence working through EVERY sermon PC & the rest of the team give! So grateful!

Pastor Chris is an amazing communicator of the scripture, and does a great job of arising the Holy Spirit in those who listen. I’m from Minnesota, and although I have a church home where I am involved in small groups and weekly bible studies, I consider Church of the Highlands my second church home, and go back to listen to the whole archive of sermons throughout the week. Thank you, Jesus, for giving me Pastor Chris as another tool for building me up in Your name!

Great Podcast!

Chris. Stop it with all the passive bragging. Love all the sermons and messages. But the 30 minutes of church bragging drives me crazy. I know you're a great church and have a great congregation. I have lived in Florida for 5 years now and still listen all the time. I used to serve at grants mill. I don't remember there being so much push on how much the church is doing and how big you are. It's starting to push me away from highlands. Seems to be just turning into another mega church.

Good messages. Real answers for life.

COTH is a great place to worship! The staff and volunteers truly love God and love people. Pastor Chris is very knowledgable on the bible.

Little did I know how drastically my life would change on the day that my wife basically dragged me into the Grants Mill campus. We were visiting some friends that live in Birmingham, and on the day it was time to go to church, which I was the COMPLETE opposite of any person you'd meet in church, but this was where our family went. August 3, 2014 was the day that I attended, and Jesus got a hold of me in a way that I'll never forget. My life is 180 degrees from where it was last year, and I could not be happier. Although I live in south Mississippi, and attend an ARC church called Northwood Church, I stay up-to-date with every message from COTH. Thank you first to our awesome Father God, then thank you to Chris Hodges and the whole COTH staff/family. May the Lord continue to bless this organization abundantly so the Gospel of Jesus Christ will save people and transform lives!

I attend the montgomery campus but serve in the highlands kids so I normally miss service. This helps me not to miss anything. I love the way PC (Pastor Chris) tells the sermon. I've gone through many ruff patches and the sermons and the way they are taught has helped me through them.

I grew up in a small Methodist church, and I am not able to make it to my church home. it provides me with the spiritual food I need throughout the week. love listening to the pod casts when I cannot make the services. Inspiring I give A+++
