    The Live Show
I absolutely LOVED the live show with the visuals! I would love to see more, like once a month or once a quarter? I didn’t get to watch it live but would really want to in the future. Jasmine and Gigi are my fiber crafting inspiration and can’t wait to see what more they can do! Long time listener and big fan!

    Trying to be fair, but…
I listened to this podcast for years. On the good side: technical quality, variety of projects discussed, suggestions for yarns at various price points, concern for inclusivity, pacing, interesting types of segments (e.g. “When Knitting Attacks!”) On the not-so-good side: highly opinionated, bragging, rude interactions (e.g. daughter’s treatment of her mother). For me, the negative has come to outweigh the positive. I’ve started to think that I am endorsing very bad behavior by adding to Jasmine’s listener base.

    Love this audio podcast
I enjoy this podcast while knitting and each segment is well done. I find that the descriptions made of (for me) a visual hobby is done so well and truly creates pictures in my mind. This knitting podcast has a splash of inspiration to spread the hobby I love to students I work with and love the real life chat with the knitting. The best part is when I come to the “end of my row” with you all. 💜

    So prolifically creative.
This podcast has made me so happy. Gigi and Jasmine are so intelligent, thoughtful and most of all, inspiring. Also, I can listen to them when my family is around- a plus! I always feel a little light and happier after listening.

    Thank you, Jasmin and Gigi…
for your knitting knowledge and companionable conversation. I admire your integrity, intelligence and inspiration. Here’s to many more episodes!

    Love these women so much!
The variety of knitting information I have learned from them is amazing. If you are a knitter, or if you are just learning, they will inspire you!

    Love the Knitmores!
Started listening 4 years ago and haven’t stopped since! Super entertaining and informative. I love the perspectives each host brings (Genevieve is the coolest), and the range of topics covered. This podcast has everything from slice-of-life stories to expert and considered advice on knitting, sewing and life in general! WARNING: MAY BE HARD TO STOP LISTENING TO.

    The best
They are one of the best knitting, sewing podcasts out there.I learn so much from them through years than any other podcast.

The Knitmoregirls’ Podcast is a must!
If you are a knitter, this podcast is a must! I started listening to it during the pandemic, and since I have not missed one episode! Gigi and Jasmin are super knowledgeable on the topic at hand, and it is always so much fun to listen to both of them and to Genevieve as well. She is so mature, and it is so sweet to hear her talk about her knitting and all the other crafts she gets her hands on.

    Politics….wow
I want to hear about knitting on a knitting podcast. I expect some of life to show up too. I don’t expect everyone to have the same political views as me. But when you share your political view this much I choose not to listen.
  • ang_b
    Essential!
This was the first audio podcast I ever subscribed to, and I love it just as much now, several years into listening! Jasmin and Gigi are utterly delightful, and the content is top rate! I don’t know how Jasmin does it, but somehow she manages to explain knitting techniques so well, even though it’s an audio-only podcast.
  • TNTraci
    Too Political
I just want to hear all things knitting on a knitting podcast, no peppered with politics, so I’ll be listening to other knitting podcasts.
  • ER63
    A firm favorite!
Completely charming. Gigi and Jasmin are wonderful company, deeply encouraging, and funny to boot. I so appreciate their candor and the community they provide
  • profesoraDeEspanol
    Fantastic!
I believe this was one of the first podcasts that I listened to. Years later, it remains one of my absolute favorites! Jasmin and Gigi are engaging, funny, and informative! Podcast drop day is one of my favorites, which I look forward to weekly!

    Love the Authenticity
I love how Jasmin and Gigi bring their full and true selves to their fiber arts. Knitting gives me the opportunity to connect with myself in the midst of the hard work of in-person teaching during a pandemic and a time of extreme social upheaval. Listening to the podcast helps me process what’s going on right now as I knit.

Yarn and sticks are NOT political!
Oh, how I loved listening to this podcast for its knitting content and humor. But when the politics came in, I was out. I’m so tired of recreational pastimes being ruined by taking on a political status. It’s ridiculous!
  • BettetWithoutYourRants
    Stop with your politics
I enjoyed the show so much I went back to the beginning to listen to all of them!! I wanted see how the whole thing started and changed over time. I dropped the podcast immediately when it got political.... it was not even a second thought for me. You’re putting yourself into an echo chamber.m; what could have been great across the entire community is now limited to at most 50% of what could have been.
  • JacquieKK
I don’t want politics in my knitting podcast
Look, I know it’s a tough year but I knit to relax and unwind. I like this podcast for the knitting content but I don’t want politics in the knitting podcasts I listen to.
  • WidefieldMusician
600 episodes, and it JUST KEEPS GETTING BETTER!
My week isn’t complete without a car ride with Jasmin and Gigi keeping me company. Their delightful dialogue keeps me informed, entertained, and usually laughing too. I wholeheartedly appreciate how up front these two are with theirs views on the many issues that we are facing, they are truly pillars of our community (and we need more like these two!)

    Always a great go-to podcast
I’ve been listening to this podcast since 2010. I take breaks every once in a while when life happens, but when I get back into my knitting, my first thought is to turn on the Knitmoregirls. I think Jasmin and Gigi are the absolute best and have grown so much as a podcast and a family. I adore them. Always a pleasure to listen.

My days are better with The Knitmore Girls
Nothing makes my day more than when there is a new Knitmore Girls episode! Their soothing voices and funny and real life anecdotes make me drop everything and listen and relisten. Thank you ladies for your many years of wisdom.

    Jasmin and Gigi
Nothing can beat them! I love listening to them and learning about their week. There is something comforting about them and their stories. Keep up the great podcasts!
  • Emivine
Stick to knitting and let Gigi talk!
Too much talk of politics and SJW BS. Also, Jasmin is constantly talking over and correcting her mom. She comes across as such a know-it-all and it’s grating to listen to. Unsubscribe.
  • mouseknitter
    Wish there was more
I love how this podcast keeps me in a good mood at work especially with all the stressful thing’s happening fight now. Shame not all the episodes are listed right now. I hope they come back before I finish the ones that are here. I just love listening to Jasmin and Gigi.
  • egrace63
    My absolute favorite podcast!!!
I’ve listened to every single podcast and they are all worth listening to! I especially look forward to hearing the saga of Short Rows. These two/three are terrifically ingenious, inventive and positive. Plus their show notes are excellent.
  • mariasheaknits
    Lovely lovies!
I really enjoy this podcast because it is informative, playful, smart and about knitting (some knitting podcasts are a bit silly and go off topic). As well, the sound quality is very good. The different segments in the podcast give it structure and I love the gentle discussions and perspectives given as well as the acceptance for all types of listeners. Both hosts give a professional and polished experience that will satisfy all knitting levels as well. I feel very much “at home” when I listen each day. Thank you very much for the time and effort you put into making these podcast for knitters to enjoy. 🧶👍😍
  • sosavvyshopper
Sending you a social distance hug....
I enjoy listening to your podcasts very much! They are informative, just the right amount of humor, and I love that you have different segments like “When knitting attacks” and “Mother knows best”. It’s nice to be able to sit down and knit with you. Thank you ! Maria in N.C.
  • marthaeliza
    Instructive, Informative, and Interesting
Jasmin and Gigi are expert knitters, and though I am an experienced knitter, I frequently learn about new techniques while listening. As I also spin, sew, and weave a bit, all the segments are of interest. I am GIgi’s age, and enjoy the mother-daughter rapport. I applaud Jasmin’s forthright discussions regarding mental heath, and appreciate their engagement in current issues.
  • emtgirl77
    Narcissism at its finest
If you want to listen to a commercial every single segment (greedy much?) and how much Jasmin loves herself this is the podcast for you. Constantly declaring how good she is and how much she knows about everything is exhausting, and apparently her opinion is the only correct one. They don’t seem to do anything for themselves (winding yarn, weaving in ends), unless it’s enjoyable, and Jasmin behaves like an expert in everything. Constantly interrupting her mom, who actually is quite knowledgeable, but talks quite slowly, is really annoying. This show used to be decent with the knitting content, but it’s just not there anymore. I’ll leave this one for the extreme left-wingers. They’ll probably love it.
  • Snickersoodle101
    So fun!
I love ending my day listening to this podcast. I am in a similar life space to Jasmin and while it took several episodes to catch on (I discovered them about episode 400) to who’s who they feel like family now. And it’s fun listening to them chat about knitting and issues surrounding the knitting community.
  • Kgtghuydc1345678
Thankful they don’t just stick to knitting!
Hands down my favorite knitting podcast. Great techniques and reviews. I’m always getting ideas and exposure to yarns I hadn’t heard of and designers I hadn’t heard of. I love that they don’t just stick to knitting. Bringing politics to the conversation is one of my favorite aspects of the show. Hearing them use their voice to promote social justice is a breath of fresh air. Thanks for such a great show ladies! Love you lots!
  • flutterby)1(
    Used to be a favorite
I loved the mother daughter relationship. I loved the permission to personalize the projects to suit your own tastes, while I agree that knitting doesn’t take place in a vacuum I am sorry to see so much political and other opinionated content that no longer seems to suggest that the listener can have a different opinion. I think I’ll miss them but it is getting harder to listen to, something nice Jasmin corrects Gigi frequently.
  • Else28
    fantastic podcast
I love this podcast for the honest and helpful hosts, the wealth of knowledge they have on knitting and other crafting, and their thoughtful analysis of the cultural issues impacting knitters and the knitting economy.
  • cringer
    Sick of soapbox politics
Just stick to knitting, ladies. We all have our own opinions and don’t need to hear yours while we are trying to relax and escape our days. Done.
  • Avid knitter 2
    Disappointed
I used to enjoy the listen. There are techniques discussed & books reviewed. Over the last year there has been increasing additions of political views, causes they support, & criticisms of fiber fests that are scheduled on days inconvenient for them. I listened for knitting not 3 minutes of the afore mentioned. So, I have unsubscribed. Stick to knitting, please. Don’t use this as a platform for issues.
  • coolknitter
    Best podcast on the planet!
Entertaining, intelligent, interesting, informative and just plain fun! Love it, love it, love it! I look forward to each weeks episode, wouldn’t miss it! Thank you for an outstanding podcast! Let it rolling! Jamie
  • tokkilee
    My favorite podcast
I’ve been a listening for many years and it’s the only knitting podcast I’ve stuck to. I also really enjoy Jasmin tying in non-knitting topics with knitting, as knitting does not exist in a vacuum. The production quality is fantastic, the ads are short and almost always relevant (and the only podcast I don’t fast forward through when ad-time comes).
  • janeamyk
    A perennial favorite
This is one of my all time favorite knitting podcasts.
  • kwolps
    So full of herself.....
I have listened since Episode 1, and have given more than one enthusiastic review over the years. That being said, I am just done now. Jasmin has become more and more entitled and preachy as time goes on. She has a strong opinion about everything and the subject does not exist on which she is not an expert. I’d hate to be on a committee with her. Her mother has had a shrinking role on the podcast, since Jasmin rarely allows her to express an opinion or contribute without interrupting. After the most recent episode, where Jasmin pontificated on what made a great yarn shop, I have really had it. I manage a yarn shop and, trust me, if all customers felt as entitled as she does, the LYS as we know it would be extinct. She loves to see a table in her LYS with people knitting and socializing. However, she enjoys buying her yarn online for the convenience, and she isn’t a fan of shops who require people to only knit with yarn purchased at their shop, because not everyone can afford that. Even my customers thought her whole line of thinking was ridiculous.
  • canyonwren2
Best of the best knitting podcasts!
I’ve been a devoted fan of Jasmine and Gigi for over ten years. They just keep getting better all the the time. It’s focused, informative, and well organized.
  • Luvmylabs1219
Love this podcasts! Warm, informative and we love the travel reviews
I have enjoyed this podcast from the beginning and still rank it as top of my podcast list! I actually took time to read some of the reviews (I think they must put all the negative ones first) and was surprised to read how much intolerance there was to opinions that didn’t agree with those held by the authors of several negative reviews. I respect what Jasmine and Gigi have to say even when I don’t always agree - and opinions would never deter me from my listening. I have loved hearing how their family has grown and don’t mind discussions on kids, meals etc. because that is life, and I think we as listeners are privileged that the Knitmores share glimpses with us. Their knowledge of fiber, knitting and spinning is informative, interesting and I love when Gigi talks about her sewing classes and learning new techniques- it’s very inspiring! You go girl! I had the good fortune to meet Jasmine and Gigi at the Black Sheep Gathering several years ago and they were so personable, warm and gracious, just as they are on the podcast. Keep up the great work ladies! I love this podcast!
  • w.to.me
Love this duo & occasionally trio
Every time I hear GiGi say “I’m fine Lovey, how are you. I get goose bumps. Miss my Mother. This duo love and respect each other. I have no doubt. Listen my daughter and I over talk each other without even noticing. Now for the podcast. So much knowledge and they share it so well. I have not knitted my entire life, therefore I am trying to absorb all the knowledge. They are fun loving. Love their book reviews. Love the quality of their podcast. They are enthusiastic about the topics. Love it!
  • moremellow
    For what it’s worth.....
I have listened to all recent episodes and am now listening to back episodes. I also read some of the reviews. One thing that comes through is that these two really adore each other. I don’t think Jasmine is the least bit interested in taking the advice to stop interrupting her mother’s stories. J did it again today and I was so interested In what G was saying but she didn’t even try to finish after J’s interruption. The last couple of old episodes put me over the edge with J preaching her left wing politics. At one point (for seemed like 15 minutes) she went on and on but never did get to the point of her political rant and then ended with “I hope that cleared everything up”. Clear as mud! Gigi mentioned to keep the reviews coming... as long as they are good ones! There’s a ton more podcasts that really enjoy so I am hitting delete on this duo.
