JMac teaching is purest teaching of the Word. I love Piper, Keller, Platt but JMac’s background, clear and insightful exposition line by line, and the way he brings in Scripture from other places in the Bible to bring out the meaning and cross reference is the best in my opinion. Praise GOD for him and may more teachers like him be raised up.

I’ve been listening to Pastor John for about 2 months now and am so thankful for how clearly he shares the Word of God through his sermons. He gives all glory to God while being completely straightforward in each message. No politics. Just truth.

We are blessed to have Pastor MacArthur teach and preach the Gospel truth. This isn’t about his glory but His glory. This isn’t about prosperity but salvation. This isn’t about your best life now, it’s about your eternal soul. The truth is about love…sometimes tough love but love nonetheless. We thank you Lord for giving us the opportunity to look, listen and learn from such a spirit -filled man.

John MacArthur is a modern day puritan.

Its the best out there, in my opinion. It’s God’s grace and A light in a dark world.

He is thoroughly clear in his knowledge and communication!

I love listening to Pastor John. He goes verse by verse and makes the Bible very easy to understand by giving histories and biographies of anyone or any place or culture in the story. He breaks it down in simple terms and throws in a little humor. Sometimes you have pastors that turn people off because it’s constantly either fire and brimstone or a boring monotoned reading of scripture. That is not Pastor John. Even while teaching of judgment and Revelation, he still brings hope into it. I used to be afraid as a child listening to our Baptist preacher go on and on about fiery judgment and I hoped I wasn’t alive to witness it. With Pastor John, it’s the exact opposite because he makes it very clear that our Lord will be with us the entire way and will never forsake us.

Very grateful for John MacArthur’s fidelity to the Word of God. It’s refreshing and cleansing. Thank you so much!

It’s the not the left, nor the right that will make this world a better place. It’s the Gospel of Jesus Christ and who better to present the Gospel than John McArthur. Every time he speaks you hear the Gospel, time and time again. Thank the lord that we have someone so faithful, so resilient, that he would dedicate his life to proclaiming the message of Jesus Christ in it’s entirety. My family has been blessed by his ministry and I know your family will be blessed as well.

I love this so much He teaches us so good an also the rapture And when it comes to that we won’t know what to do but here in our hearts God knows what he is doing he has a plan for us and he’s gonna keep on doing that until we understand that he has the world for us he’ll keep us safe that is his word no matter what if you’re going through pain just like me just as God and he will help you pray but one more thing to get Satan out of you is to read the Bible go to church praise the Lord of his mercy Jesus Christ died on that cross too save our sins. Thank you so much John MacArthur. For teaching me so much that the Lord is with me. Love you God bless you.♥️

He is simple minded

Last sermon from early September

The man preaches with the fear of God knowing very well he needs to teach what the Bible says, and nothing more. That is why I listen. It’s the Holy Spirit teaching me through the vessel of this man. Thank you Father, for such mercy you show us.

Thank you Pastor MacArthur for your consistently bold proclamation of Gods Word! Your ministry has helped my growth as a child of God and I am extremely blessed because of your faithfulness as a teacher of Gods Word. Again Thank you!

Thank you for preaching God’s truth without compromise.

What a great pastor who is in afraid to speak the bold truth in love messages that we need to hear. You won’t get this from many modern day churches who are focused more so on entertaining and pleasing the congregation. He has a New Testament Commentary collection that breaks down every verse to help give the best explanation- very very helpful. It’s worth the money! An entire lifetime of biblical insight has helped draft this.

JMac is a blessed teacher! Thank you for constantly challenging us!

This MAN is the definition of Biblical Manhood. He is a true shepherd!!!! LOVES his sheep and cares about their souls. He doesn’t tickle ears. He is TRUTHFUL! Pray for him and his ministry! Not enough stars on the rating menu.

First of all, I never write reviews, but I had to today! I was introduced to Pastor John MacArthur at a young age. My Dad would listen to Pastor MacArthur daily in the car. As a child, I also noticed that many of the books he would study from were written by MacArthur. I’m 23 now and boy am I glad to have been introduced to MacArthur at such a young age. I consider it a blessing to now be able to share in great appreciation with my Dad for the ministry of MacArthur.

When I heard John He confirmed my faith in the word was well founded on the truth of right faith because all that he teaches is what and how I believe not having any turning

I am grateful for this faithful man of God. He is humble and a true scholar of the Scriptures. I always know I am getting the Truth whenever I listen to Pastor John MacArthur.

Pastor MacArthur displays the truth of the gospel needed in every age until Christ’s triumphal return.

I love that John is not afraid of preaching truth and for standing up for the Gospel. Many pastors these days just preach touchy feel good messages. John is actually preaching The Word of God and his messages are very encouraging and cause me to want to draw close to Christ and to be in His Word all the more. I highly recommend listening to his podcasts.

MacArthur should be on the Mt Rushmore of theologians. That is all. That's the review

John talks through scripture very well and is a great teacher in his sermons. However I continue to be disappointed in his demeanor and perspective on recent events. If I could provide one piece of advice and for him to take it to heart, I’d ask him to humble himself, remove his privilege as a white male and put himself in the shoes of the women, POC and LGTBQ. Which is a hard task as a older white male set in their ways.

I am very thankful to the Lord and to Dr. MacArthur for this podcast. It is not only inspiring each week but it is educational to anyone seeking to deepen their relationship with the Lord. “Well done, good and faithful servant.”

As a seminary trained pastor myself, I have to say that John MacArthur is a master of the Word of God. He lays out the Scriptures clearly in logical manner, preaching both sides of the coin, both divine sovereignty and human responsibility. By the way, we used MacArthur's textbook on Counseling at MABTS. It is excellent, thorough, and very helpful; I still go back to it.

Probably the greatest sermon I have ever heard. John MacArthur is wholly committed to preaching the true gospel of Jesus Christ and I thank God for that. Definitely needed to hear what was said.
