Before sending my 3 children out and into the world in the morning, we listen to a podcast. This morning, I just so happened to type in Christmas and found this wonderful piece of history. Thank you for this heart warming podcast. My kiddos loved it and I sent it to my 81 year old father, I’m sure it will bring back wonderful childhood memories. Much gratitude.

What really makes this special is that you brought me back to my favorite time of the year.

This was a fantastic find. A different way to enjoy Christmas! I am so tired of the sickening point of television and the constant blah blah blah of politics on radio and news. So glad to hear these shows from days gone by. I remember the radio shows of the 60’s and 70’s when I was a little boy listening to WGNT here in Huntington. Thanks for REAL radio entertainment!

I played this when I was on a 12 hour road trip along with other podcasts and it really got me into the Christmas spirit! So cute! :)

I always begin listening to this during the fall / winter months while I’m cooking / baking for the family . We all turn the tv off and just let this play... and oh it just gives me such a warm feeling . It takes me back and reminds me of the days where people were present and LIVED not distracted my technology... simpler, and slower times. Oh the nostalgia. I can’t believe this doesn’t have higher ratings! One of the most unique podcasts , and so wonderful! Highly recommended.

I just found this podcast, and let me tell you, I love it so much. This podcast is able to bring out true Christmas spirit, no matter what season and is always able to make me smile. I’m so glad I found this.

I have really been enjoying these Christmas shows. The sound quality is great and these productions reflect the care and professionalism given to classic radio drama.This is old-fashioned family entertainment in the best way.

So many classics here that are a real joy to listen. These are historical artifacts as much as entertaining traditions. Kind of surreal I'm listening to these old broadcasts on my smartphone! Glad they have a place to keep alive in the cultural consciousness.

These shows are really cool! As you listen, you are transformed to a different time. I wasn’t alive when these shows came out, but I am fascinated by them just the same. I love the shows that were recorded during, or around WWII. You can almost hear the tension in the performer’s voices. The occasional poor audio quality only adds to the authenticity. The only thing I would suggest changing is the timing of the ads for the podcaster. I know the ads are necessary, and that is fair, but I would suggest having them at the beginning, or even during the show, but not at the end. There is something beautifully romantic about having the show end as it did originally, gently into the wintry stillness of history.

What a wonderful treat for the Christmas season! In addition to some of my all-time old-time favorites, I've found some new shows and stories to listen to. Thank you for introducing me to The Great Gildersleeves and My Favorite Husband. I look forward to switiching over to your regular Old Time Radio podcast in the New Year.

This is my 3rd year of listening to this podcast. I look forward to it every year. By the way, it's not just for older people. I like hearing about how positive things were back then in broadcasting vs today. I love The Littlest Angel. I listen to it every year with my 8, 10, & 12 year old kids. They love it and listening to some of the other episodes as well.

Is this what my grandparents watched on TV? Where's the video? I can't dance to any of this stuff! Yuk! It's nothing but talk, talk, talk!

... that they added the full movie "It's a Wonderful Life." It's a bit grainy, but for free, it's great! Maybe the can keep adding movies that are in the public domain - it would be especially great if they could add "Miracle on 34th Street" - the movie version isn't available anywhere on Itunes.

This is a really cool program. I'm go to bring these old time radio christmas mp3 to my grandparent's house and play them of my family over the christmas holiday!
