I came to DCC in 2018 around the same time I came back to TTRPGs and I’ve found my spiritual gaming home. The podcast is a perfect supplement to actual play and enhances how I run and play games. Guest creators and judges’ insights are always appreciated also!

Just started listening to the show, again, after several months away. Contrary to some of the criticisms mentioned in the show, I am loving it!

I feel like the show has lost a lot of its focus and I’m not sure what role it’s trying to fill in the community.

I love the new content, and I also go back and listen from episode 1 every year or two! I still find things of value that I missed in old episodes!

Amazing show. I’m new to DCC and this show has been an indispensable source of inspiration and explanation of the rules and aspects of an amazing tabletop RPG. (You can skip Ep 8 though. Unless you just want to hear from a grizzled old school player and DM who hates on some of the best parts of the system including, you guessed it, ascending armor class. Predictable complaints from a predictable Grognard. )

Spellburn has been a constant in my life for years now. It's helped me better understand DCC, and get to know the wide community surrounding one of the best interpretations of classic 70s RPG fun. The hosts have good chemistry and insight, and are just generally sweet folks who encourage a gaming community

This is a great podcast all around from the very first to the most recent. Each episode is packed with information, tips, tricks, reviews and more. Although the roster has changed from the beginning they have always remained the "Judges J" and the podcast continue to excel and have made themselves a vital part of the DCCRPG community!

Everything you need to get started (and excited) about Dungeon Crawl Classics. The judges J help clarify some of the more nebulous parts of the game and provide an opportunity to get to know the writers and designers.

I miss the Olden Days of Yore, although I understand The Band must change as some PCs are disintegrated or geased or lost in Space/Time That said, it rocks out and supports the DCC game although I feel maybe for a game so "gonzo" in spirit the show toes the line of orthodoxy fairly strongly, in that there is a contingent of players whose influence is glossed over entirely. It gets weirder than this show lets on - luckily there are other DCC podcasts that cater to weirdness I have nothing but high regard for the judges and the show itself but it has lost a bit of its weird and degenerate flavour of late... Bring back the GONZO, or press on farther into the Deep Depths, Spellburners! and I will return that last .25 of my multisouls and that star to you

Critical hit! Played my first game of DCC with Judge Julian at Con of the North! It was a blast! Since then I've listened to every episode and even ran a funnel. I feel more competent as a judge having listened. Thanks for everything!

A great podcast with high production quality. It is clear that each of the judges is passionate about DCC and want to share that passion. I appreciate the addition of Judge Jen, and the seamless transition as new judges step in (Julian, Jarret, and Jeff) and veteran judges hand off the mic (Jim, Jobe, and Jeffrey). THe judges J never disappoint. Each episode helps to expand your understanding of Dungeon Crawl Classics. Lately the producer has added episodes on the DCC Gencon seminars. This is a fanstastic feature for those of use who could not make the convention.

Well-produced podcast concerning the OSR game DCC RPG, or Dungeon Crawl Classics RPG. This was the only dedicated podcast on any OSR game that I could find, besides one-shots. It's my hope that they'll branch into other OSR games and keep producing episodes.
