    Walls and Bridges
Go out to the world, yes but don’t let the world define you, or you will have nothing to give. I feel this is the dilemma that our beloved Church is in. God bless Bishop Barron!! I feel the Holy Spirit, in his clarity!

Why isn’t this podcast 5 stars?
I have enjoyed Bishop Barron’s podcast for over a year now and I decided to venture into why his podcast wasn’t a 5-star rating. Come to find that most of the reviews less than 5-stars have nothing to do with the content of what he says, but the content of his character, the Word on Fire Institute, or just silly other things. The podcast provides spoken truth, there doesn’t seem to be any evidence against that, even in the reviews!

    Grateful
I’m grateful for the reflections and sermons available online. These are opportunities I would have missed if they weren’t available as emails and podcasts. These daily nudges, have helped me grow closer to our Lord.

Please just have Bishop Barron talk
I love listening to Bishop Barron. But quite honestly I find Brandon Vogt very annoying. His voice is annoying and he honestly doesn’t contribute anything meaningful to the podcast. He demands small talk that none of us want to listen to from Bishop Barron. I wish it just cut straight to Bishop Barrons sermon rather than half to listen to Brandon humble-brag for 5 minutes before hand.

society actually doesn’t tell you you’re perfect in every way
society tells you to be accepting of the things you can’t change about yourself and to continue to improve the things you can.

    Praise God!
As our eager 10-year-old son bluntly put to Bishop Barron when we had the great privilege of greeting him after holy mass in Santa Paula, CA this summer: “You’re the reason my parents are Catholic now.” We have encountered Christ and His Church through the Word on Fire apostolate, and we are full of gratitude. God bless you, Bishop Barron, and team!

    An influence towards good
Being of the Protestant persuasion I was somewhat wary of delving too deeply into Bishop Barron’s work. I’ve heard him on various interviews and was impressed and I’m glad I started listening to his various podcasts. While I don’t think I’ll be converting to Catholicism anytime soon I think the things that hold us together are much stronger than those that set us apart. I’m glad to learn from a preacher of the word.
  • WoodMorger
