    I typically enjoy the guests on this podcast but Kayla Barnes was way too manic/obsessive fear mongering for me. She lost me at sleeping in an EMG cage and wearing 3 wearables to try and get a 100 sleep score. She is obsessed and clearly needs some help. Yikes!

    Oh, Jesse! How you handled yourself and stayed in the driver seat on your interview with Dr. Robert Cywes, was truly remarkable! He is a smart, realistic doctor but sadly unintentionally condescending. If he could fine tune his approach, he’d be amazing to listen to. I didn’t learn much but continue to be amazed by your patience! Keep up the good work Jesse!

    I use to enjoy this podcast even as it became increasingly more oriented toward keto and carnivore. The straw that broke the camel's back, however, was the recent interview with Prof. Bart Kay in which he said (ignorantly) said the following: "There is no such thing as healthy plant foods." Perhaps the dumbest statement in podcast history!

    Used to enjoy
    I used to listen but had to stop when each episode has a theme of carnivore diet. It’s unrealistic for every human to just eat meat and not great for the planet. And vegans attacked every episode. The thing that this podcast and many others don’t get is that vegan aren’t eating that way because they think it’s the healthiest diet, it’s because they care about something besides themselves.

    I’ve been listening to TUHP for almost 5 years. I thoroughly enjoyed the episodes that focused on mental health, mindset, habits, and some of the others. However recently the episodes have gotten too long for my liking. The episodes seem to drag on with too much “fluff.” I really do enjoy certain episodes of the podcast, and look forward to listening to the shorter episodes in the future.

The one thing I’m amazed at…. How on earth does he come up with so many great questions for his guests…. and do it consistently.

    I’ve been listening to your podcasts for almost 2 years now. I even recall when Marni was still on and it’s always a learning opportunity while listening. Love how you are always prepared. The podcast with Tony Horton was spectacular! Learned so much about the importance of taking care of yourself and I really connected with Tony because I have autoimmune disease driven food sensitivities and Tony was spot on about how it affects you and how he overcame his hurdles with health. Great conversation. Loved that you got the real deal on the show and not a gimmick.

    It seems like too much anecdotal experience rather than based on scientific evidence. Promoting fad diets. Please interview more credible medical providers or research like registered dietitian rather than so called nutritionists.
