MasoommExactly what we need in our troubled timesI am grateful to Ihsan for sharing his wisdom and bringing Islamic spirituality to the listeners. This podcast is transforming my life, and I hope it transforms yours as well, Inshahallah.

lovefood33Spiritually TransformativeI am very grateful to have discovered this podcast. I first listened to one of brother Ihsan Alexander’s meditations on YouTube and found it very fulfilling and beautiful. I was then guided to this podcast, which contains so much knowledge and wisdom. This podcast is a great resource for spiritual growth, which impacts every other part of your life too.

RetroprtyCaptivating Modern Day Teaching of IslamThe Soul of Islam podcast offers such an engaging and refreshing insight into Islam. It beautifully draws on the spiritual aspect of the religion that is so often overlooked. The hosts are very eloquent in their explanations and they really help the viewer feel connected to Islam in a unique way. I would definitely recommend this podcast to all.

KoolikalaDisappointing and unthoughtfulHave only heard one episode (the last one - Nov 2020) and was left wondering if I was teleported back to the 00’s era tradition-worshipping, “the West/modern life is ruinous!” reckless content that disillusioned 80% of thoughtful Muslims back then. Is this inching towards a Muslim version of a nihilistic men’s rights anti-intellectual movement? If I listened to more episodes I’d comment on how soulful this truly is, but I wanted to warn others expecting more or expecting this is was Islam is (Islamic thought is diverse, obvs).

DarugolThe best and very needed!I pray that there’s more episodes coming because I love love this podcast! My favorite 🙏🏾

samara126NecessaryNoor talks about tons of relatable things I often think but don’t always find the right words or audience to articulate it to. Listening to her conversations are meaningful yet light hearted! Thanks for this work 👏🏽

TMariamMMust Listen to ALL EpisodesEveryone who’s came across these episodes is where he or she should be. It is surely a sign from the Divine, a reminder which we all are in a dire need for. So many so-called classical scholars neglect to address all of these topics that are discussed in the episodes while as believers this is what we need, not their external implications and issues of haram and halal. THIS is much deeper. As the ustadh Ihsan said, sharia without tariqa is incomplete and vise versa. May Allah renew our hearts and help us build stronger and aware humans that are in a constant worship, but worship not of the dunya and the self, but worship of Allah Alone.♥️

Gvena19Profound, Eye OpeningFor anyone, Muslim or not, curious about the true essence of Islam, or how to cultivate a more meaningful spiritual relationship with God, Soul of Islam is a must listen. I’ve learned so much about humanity, and how we can use the Prophet’s (pbuh) message as a pathway to divine experience. Truly thankful for this podcast and it’s all encompassing wisdom.

Toun totoWowI generally don't give reviews, especially if I find the service or merchandise mediocre...but wow. Hassan, the host, speaks words of truth in a soft voice that resonates deeply. He is a light in this world, and he helps me realize that I am too, and it is each person's destiny to awaken the light in this world. Please listen, and be blessed.

IHopeThisNicknameIsntTaken0000Powerful. Beautifully crafted. A+++This must be the 3rd time I'm trying to leave a review because every other time I tried my "Nickname" was taken (hence ^ ). The fact that I am attempting to leave a review after 2 failed attempts should speak volumes to my adoration of these episodes. Further, the fact that I've never left a podcast review should strengthen that very case. These podcasts shed light on a fundamental aspect of Islam, spirituality. They help me strengthen my iman and truely realize the beauty of the Islamic way of Life. I listen, take notes, and turn my knowledge into action. After going through a very traumatic experience, I was determined to the find the Truth. I encourage all readers of this comment to subscribe, especially those who are truely seeking Allah. Never stop seeking Allah. There is no doubt that in remembrance of Allah is our path to peace. Knowledge without action is useless. So once you listen to these podcasts, make sure to implement the teachings. Don't give up. Keep seeking Him, especially in the last third of the night. Take notes. Revisit the notes. Confirm the facts. Allah will not help you if you don't want to help yourself. Press that subscribe button and grab a pen and journal today. Finally, leave Apple a suggestion to fix the bug that erases the full customer review if the "Nickname" a user enters is already taken.

mojaamAnd remind, for indeed, the reminder benefits the believers. (51:55)This podcast has been such a blessing to my spiritual journey. Constantly resonating. Deeply spiritual yet delivers practical advice. Only wish list/suggestions I can think of are perhaps have someone like Sheik Mokhtar Maghraoui on as I feel his message/style aligns very well here and to have 99 episodes on the Asma ul Husna :D May God continue to bless this podcast and its producers! Jazakumullahu Khayrun for such a fine podcast. Best, Mahmud

MustafaMcIslamic SpiritualityThis podcast has been wonderfully enlightening to me. Though presented from the Islamic perspective, I believe it would also be very beneficial to adherents of other faith traditions. Sk0917The best podcast series! The Soul of Islam Radio is an excellent conduit for the love and light of the Divine. This is hands down my favorite podcast series & in my honest opinion, the best podcast series out there if you are looking to cultivate an inner sense of spirituality, develop inner peace and strength, & seeking closeness to oneself and the Divine through transcending ego and instead practicing heart based consciousness. It is Islam, Iman, Ihsan exemplified with a focus on the essence of the faith - fitra, ikhlaaq, ikhlaas, taqwa, tawheed, tazkiyat al-nafs - touched on in each and every podcast through concrete advice and steps to exercise. Trust me - it will inspire you, move you, and empower you with the lessons, insights and tools to return back to the Divine, as we are meant to. As humans we tend to have forgetful tendencies, yet this powerful podcast series beautifully and authentically brings one back to the Primordial State (fitra/natural state of being) of connectedness and heightened consciousness. Listen to it, soak it in, spread the word. Let's be a part of this Islamic Renaissance together. The time is now. You and I must play our part. Expressing my sincere and boundless gratitude to brothers Ihsan & Ahmad for curating this through their generosity, kindness, & sharing their wisdom and Nur (light) with each of us. May Allah bless you both and all of us. With Divine Love, Light, & Blessings, May Peace Be with you eternally & abundantly in all ways always. Ameen. JAK.

SunNy deliteSoul of Islam radioExcellent, beyond my expectation. I've never heard Islam expressed to such depth. Bro. Ahmed and Bro. Ihsan, Keep up the good work. May Allah bless you. Very addictive by the way. I always look forward to Friday's. (To new episodes)

manypathsonetruthBeautifully captures the essence of IslamI have just downloaded this podcast and have listened to 'Black holes and the void within' - the two presenters discussing this topic have very beautifully illustrated and connected the subjects of science (black holes) with Islam. They have actually gone far beyond just 'connecting' - download and listen! I don't think anything I say can come close to justifying the meaningful & incite-full discussion I just got to hear. I am so excited to listen to the rest of them - keep them coming!
-
Rizo88Mystic & spiritual gemI love this station already! It has two great speakers discussing the inner deeper parts of Islam in a peacemaking and heartfelt way. Excited to see what new and inspiring things these guys come up with. Keep on it!

Mbjh4lifeAwesomeDon't miss out on this podcast. It's insightful, meaningful and presented in a non-pretentious way. It's easy to follow the discussion even when discussing matters outside of the conventional way of thinking. They make the Quran, the messengers and their message, as well as our understanding of higher spiritual matters relevant for the times we are living in. I share some episodes of this podcast with my children who are 13, 9 and 6, as there is something to be gained by all. This is a keeper and one of my favorites!
