Their analysis of the linguistic, cultural, and historical contexts of the authors of the books of Scripture, is presented and described in a way that I think is lost on so many in churches today. Nehemia’s really has blessed me with his research and making plain the original scriptures

As a Jew with a graduate school-level Hebrew and cognate Semitic language background, my bar is set very high in these matters. Nehemia is incredibly well-versed in the language, history, archaeology and other disciplines relating to Tanach study. His insights and conclusions are well thought out and based on a mastery of the entire textual body. Moreover, he’s a ‘mensch’ who’s not full of himself and is fun to listen to. If you want to learn Bible in a deeper and more profound way than maybe you previously imagined—or perhaps are a Jew looking for how to follow a personal, Torah-based faith, then I strongly recommend this podcast.

I love the way Nehemiah gives pertinent information to the context of scripture without a combative spirit. I learn much without being stirred up with arguments and contentions.

Good and interesting content, very thought provoking with great insight into the scriptures.

Most times the podcasts are so interesting (or so full of facts) that I will listen twice. I have even learned from the closing prayer. Nehemia will mention some concept in his prayer that is foreign to me so I will need to look it up. My mind is usually blown. Subscribe to this podcast if you want to better understand your Bible’s history, language, and context. 5 stars!!

I travel frequently and Nehemia + Keith keep me company for MANY hours as I travel in cities across the world. The depth they get into with respect to studying scripture in the context of the original language and culture is unique. I'm not aware of anyone that does it like they do and beyond that, I believe they are trustworthy men.
